After performing the 1986 hit “Livin’ on a Prayer,” Bon Jovi addressed the audience, informing them he was unable to continue. “Don’t throw away your ticket stubs, I’m going to figure something out,” Bon Jovi told the crowd. “Just hang onto it, I’m going to figure out how to reschedule.” Before leaving the stage, the musician added, “I’m gonna have to cool it for a night. I feel great, I’ll see you again soon, bye bye.” A rep for Bon Jovi told Us on Thursday night that the singer was forced to finish up early due to a sinus infection. “The Bon Jovi concert at Madison Square Garden ended after 90 mins tonight,” the statement read.  “Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage and told fans he has been battling a sinus infection which led to the show’s early ending. As part of the Bon Jovi residency at Madison Square Garden, Jon has said numerous times that it has been a joy to return to live shows for the band. Updated information will be available shortly.” Bon Jovi’s next performance at MSG is slated for Sunday, July 26, before the Forever Tour heads to Edinburgh in August. The tour marks the singer's return to touring after a vocal cord injury. He previously opened up about the health issue that had impacted his music career, reflecting on the injury and subsequent recovery journey. When Bon Jovi appeared on Today in October 2025, Savannah Guthrie, 54, said to him, “There was a moment when it was, ‘If I can’t sing the way I want to sing, I’m not going to do it anymore.’” “That’s right,” he responded. “I don’t do it for the applause. I’m not that applause junkie. I do it for the joy and I do it for the art. The rest of it is great because I’m good at it. But if you couldn’t do it from a place of joy, what’s the motivation?” In 2022, Bon Jovi underwent surgery to fix an atrophying vocal cord. Carnival Cruise Line responded to viral footage of a guest scratching her foot with a fork in a communal dining area on one of its ships. “Hi Carnival cruisers,” the cruise line wrote to potential guests via Instagram on Wednesday, July 22. “We can confirm that forks are intended for food, not foot care. Once we became aware of the situation, our team quickly addressed it with the guest and removed the utensil from service.” An online debate erupted when Instagram user Lucky_CharmedCourt shared multiple videos this week, showing a guest scratching her seemingly calloused foot during mealtime. In the first video, the cruise guest vigorously scratched rough skin on her right foot before using the same hand to resume eating her meal. A second clip saw the guest using a fork to scratch the affected area. Per Cruise Hive, the footage was shot onboard the Carnival Sunrise ship, which sails from Miami to the Bahamas and the Caribbean as part of multiday cruises. (The vessel was initially put into service as the Carnival Triumph in 1999 before undergoing a total refurbishment and renaming as the Carnival Sunrise in 2019.) The clips quickly went viral, with people expressing a combination of shock and revulsion over the lack of hygiene on display. “I’m bringing my own silverware to restaurants from now on lol,” one Instagram user vowed, with another quipping, “And this is why I don't believe in walking barefoot anywhere! Hotel room- No. Public pool- No! Hotel shower- NO!” “Dead skin cells just flying in the atmosphere,” a third commenter declared. One user called for vengeance outright, asking, “Please tell me they put her in solitary until the cruise was over.” Many questioned whether staff were alerted to the situation — and, indeed, Lucky_CharmedCourt posted multiple follow-up clips in which they reported the incident to Carnival crew. In response, Carnival Cruise Line insisted that proper hygiene is a requirement on all of its vessels. “While the video may be generating laughs and gasps online, cleanliness and hygiene are no joke to us. Our crew works hard every day to maintain high standards across our feet fleet and to ensure all guests enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable vacation. See you onboard,” the company pledged. Carnival Cruise Line perhaps wisely turned off the Instagram comments on its response to the viral controversy. The Carnival Sunrise is currently in the middle of a five-day cruise, which set sail from Miami on Monday, July 20, according to CruiseMapper. The cruise will disembark at multiple locations in the Caribbean — including Nassau, Bahamas, and Carnival’s Celebration Key — before returning to Miami on Saturday, July 25.

While navigating the changes, Tay is grateful to have such a supportive partner in the Twilight actor. “I know we were all very heavily reliant on our husbands for a lot of stuff,” Tay said on Wednesday, referring to Perry, 27, and Atia. “I know, for me, Taylor was literally just making grilled cheese all the time — and the best grilled cheese literally ever.  [He also handled] the food, filling up the water, doing things around the house, taking care of the dogs. I relied so much on him.” Tay felt particularly reliant on her husband throughout her first trimester, when she felt overwhelmingly sick. “My first trimester, I didn't really want to be touched. I didn't want to be, like, snuggly because I just felt sick,” she recalled. “When I feel bloated or anything, I'm like, ‘I don't really want to be touched.’ So, I definitely went quite a few weeks not wanting to be touched, and now I'm like, ‘OK, now I want to snuggle.’” Tay continued, “I've really been feeling [like] the biggest thing for me is I struggle with confrontation and saying how I'm feeling. If it's something not related to Taylor or a hard conversation, it's just me being anxious, I'm totally fine talking about that. But anything that has to do with [telling] Taylor I feel … based off of something someone else did is hard for me to do.” After speaking with a therapist, Tay realized it wasn’t healthy to keep her emotions bottled up. “I just feel, like, I need to say whatever I'm feeling, and it's literally been the best thing,” she gushed. “It's been really cool to be able to voice how I'm feeling and my deep thoughts or things that have bothered me to Taylor and it's been nice to finally have … the oomph to do that.”

Melissa Gilbert revealed why she made an effort not to address Netflix's new adaptation of Little House on the Prairie. "I have remained silent since the release of the new version of Little House on the Prairie." Gilbert said there were "two reasons" she didn't speak out about the project. "Honestly, I’m afraid that I am unable to be fully objective because I am too deeply involved to weigh in without emotion," she noted. "Second, I really don’t think it is my place to weigh in. The audience's reactions should speak for themselves. Critics and pundits be damned." Based on the beloved book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Little House on the Prairie follows the Ingalls family, who live on a farm on Plum Creek near Walnut Grove, Minnesota, in the late 1800s. Gilbert starred as Laura on the original series alongside Michael Landon, Karen Grassle and Melissa Sue Anderson, decades before the Netflix version introduced Alice Halsey, Luke Bracey, Crosby Fitzgerald and Skywalker Hughes. Though she initially kept quiet, Gilbert wanted to join in on the conversation about the latest take on the childhood classic. "If you are like me and still crave the actual, real, one hundred percent truth, then I suggest you watch, what I consider to be the definitive documentary on the subject of Laura Ingalls Wilder," she continued.
