At least 21 people were injured, including a 78-year-old woman who was left in critical condition, when a massive fire ripped through a Queens home on Saturday morning, officials said.The FDNY received a call about the growing blaze at 9:52 a.m. on 41st Road near College Point Boulevard in Flushing, which quickly escalated to a five-alarm fire by 10:40 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.Fire officials say the fire started on the first floor of a two-story, nearly century-old, wood-frame home in a row of five buildings. All of the victims were taken to local hospitals. The injuries included heat exhaustion, smoke inhalation and minor sprains, according to Woods.The elderly woman left in critical condition was also taken to the hospital.The building sustained damage forcing multiple residents to be displaced. The Red Cross was on the scene Saturday helping the families impacted, the outlet reported. The funds raised will help ease the financial burden, allowing them to focus on healing and moving forward without the added stress of immediate expenses.” The statement added, “If you are able, please consider donating to support Linsey and their four children during this difficult time. Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence in Wisconsin.  Romo, 46, was pulled over around 8 p.m. in Milwaukee on Thursday, July 23, according to an arrest report obtained by Us.  The CBS Sports analyst allegedly failed field sobriety tests before being taken into custody. He was booked and released, with a court date scheduled for September 21 — one day after the NFL’s Week 2 Sunday slate.  Since retiring from the NFL in 2006 after 13 years with the Cowboys, Romo has worked alongside announcer Jim Nantz as CBS’ lead NFL broadcasting crew. Romo, who grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin, was back in the Badger State to play in the 2026 Wisconsin Amateur Championship golf tournament, which has become a yearly tradition for him.  “It is as tough as you are going to play I think in almost any golf tournament,” Romo told NBC26 Wisconsin in an interview on Thursday, hours before his arrest. “You get the best guys around, the competition, and then the people who work with the WSGA — they’re just really special people.” He added, "This is a true test this week, each area of your game. Critics, including the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), which represents nearly 50,000 Transportation Security Officers across the country, say the program compromises public safety and threatens job security.“Make no mistake – this is a major departure and step backward from the aviation screening security system that Congress created in the wake of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks in 2001 and the deadly bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Scotland in 1988,” AFGE National President Everett Kelley said in a news release. “Changes of this magnitude should not be made behind closed doors without the input of Congress, the flying public, the local airport authorities and TSA employees themselves,” he added. Critics, including the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), say the program compromises public safety and threatens job security. Multiple outlets, including NBC News and TMZ, reported on Friday, July 24, that Diddy, 56, was involved in an altercation with another inmate earlier this week. The fight was allegedly broken up by prison staff, who separated the two men. Reps for Diddy have not publicly addressed the incident. Us has reached out for comment. The disgraced music mogul is currently serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. The facility declined to confirm Diddy’s reported stint in solitary confinement. “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody,” a spokesperson for the prison told TMZ in a statement. “Such information would not be available for the public domain." Diddy was arrested in 2024 on multiple charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, to which he pleaded not guilty. After a trial held the next year, Diddy was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and acquitted on the remaining counts. Throughout the scandal, which also saw him face dozens of sexual misconduct allegations, Diddy has been supported by his family. “He’s been very focused, you know, like being a better person for his family,” Diddy’s daughter Jessie, 19, told Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. “He’s been very focused and he’s just always been there for us. … He’s a great dad.” Diddy, a father of seven, shared Jessie and her twin sister, D’Lila, as well as sons Quincy, 35, and Christian, 28, with late ex Kim Porter, who died in 2018. According to Jessie, she and her siblings have maintained “great” relationships with their dad amid his scandal and incarceration. “We definitely are very close and he gives the best advice. Like [with] clothing, he’s very very knowledgeable in that aspect,” Jessie told the outlet, referring to her and D’Lila’s upcoming fashion label. “We ask him all the time like, ‘We need help on this [or] we need help on that.’ He’s always going to be there and he’s always going to tell us the right answers.
