Houthi Strike on Saudi Aramco: What You Need to Know

Houthi Strike on Saudi Aramco: What You Need to Know

The Iran-backed Houthi terrorist group attacked an Aramco oil refinery in Saudi Arabia and a critical Red Sea port on Sunday, killing at least seven people, officials said. A fire broke out at the Aramco refinery in Jazan early Sunday after it was struck by a Houthi drone, claimed Yahya Saree, a military spokesperson for the terrorist group. It was a response to the latest Saudi retaliatory drone attack in the Houthi-controlled provinces of Hajjah and Saada, Saree claimed. Houthi supporters hold a rally with a banner in Arabic reads, “All Saudi oil facilities are targets to our missiles and drones.” AP Photo/Osamah Abdulrahman“The competent authorities are completing the necessary procedures to deal with the incident,” Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy said in a statement, adding that no one was injured. The strike on the Aramco refinery coincided with a Houthi missile and drone attack on the Red Sea port of Mokha, which is controlled by the Saudi-backed Yemen government. The attack killed four troops and three civilians, with 15 others injured in the blasts, according to the National Resistance Forces, a Yemeni government-allied force. The airstrikes also left the crucial port wrecked, with severe damage done to its buildings, pier and cargo held at the facility, said Fayed al-Noman, assistant undersecretary of Yemen’s information ministry. The Houthis have repeatedly attacked the Saudi Arabian oil refinery in Jazan. via REUTERSThe Mokha port serves as one of Yemen’s key ports that was recently renovated and used to avoid the Houthi-held docks in Hodeida. The missile and drone strikes in Mokha were also targeting “Saudi enemy” troops and equipment allegedly stationed near the city, the Houthis claimed. The repeated attacks between the Houthis and the Saudi-backed Yemen government threaten to reignite the country’s bloody civil war that came to an end in 2022.The conflict also threatens to ignite a wider war in the region as the Iran-backed terror group seeks to take control of shipping along the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, threatening more of the world’s oil supply. Parents Leave 10-Year-Old at Airport Over Expired Passport: Unbelievable Story Unfolds

Parents Leave 10-Year-Old at Airport Over Expired Passport: Unbelievable Story Unfolds

As mom and dad prepped for takeoff, their kid was left as a castoff. An unnamed mother and father allegedly abandoned a 10-year-old boy at an unidentified airport in Spain after realizing they didn’t pack all of the tot’s necessary travel documents. Unwilling to miss their flight, the jet-setters boarded the airbus, leaving their son in the airport terminal, where a family member would eventually — hopefully — retrieve him. A whistleblower on social media blasted parents for allegedly leaving their 10-year-old son in the airport while they caught a flight. Michael – stock.adobe.com“[The kid] told [police] that his parents were on the plane, on their way to their home country for vacation,” said Lilian, a purported air-operations coordinator at the airport where the incident occurred. She detailed the chaos to over 320,000 TikTok viewers. Her claims, however, have not yet been verified. “The explanation given to [the authorities] was that the child was traveling with an expired passport from Spain, and needed a travel visa,” said Lilian, speaking Spanish in the clip. “Since he didn’t have a visa, they left the kid in the terminal and called a relative to pick him up.”“I didn’t see it as normal,” she noted. “The police didn’t see it as normal either.” Lilian, who claims to be an airport staffer, labeled the boy’s abandonment one of the most “surreal” experiences she’s had while on the job. TikTok.Sure, most airlines allow children to fly alone — but leaving an unaccompanied minor alone in the airport just doesn’t fly with most people worldwide. But, accidents do happen. A couple in Germany forgot their 5-year-old daughter at Berlin’s Stuttgart Airport back in 2018, claiming they’d each thought the other parent had taken charge of the girl. More recently, a 2-year-old wandered off from his mom and was swept away on a luggage conveyor belt at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport in late May. Lilian claims the boy’s parents did not have the proper travel documents for him, but didn’t want to miss the flight to their home country for vacation. New Africa – stock.adobe.comBut Lilian, a mother of a now-adult daughter, says the abandonment of the 10-year-old boy was the most “surreal” situation she’s ever experienced as an airport employee. “Hallucinating?” she questioned of the kid’s folks. “I’m an air traffic controller, and as a controller, I’ve seen a lot of things, but this has been completely surreal,” Lilian groaned. “I’m amazed to think how parents could possibly leave their 10-year-old son at the terminal because he can’t travel due to documentation issues.”She continued giving the unidentified dopes a harsh tongue lashing for putting their son’s safety at risk. “They call a relative, who might take half an hour, an hour or three hours, and they calmly board the flight and leave the child behind,” she spat. “As a mother, I’d freak out.”Lilian reported that airport cops ultimately removed the parents’ luggage from the flight and brought the pair to the on-site police station for questioning. It’s unclear whether the boy’s parents were arrested.

Unruly Toddler Causes Flight Cancellation, Stranding Passengers Overnight

Unruly Toddler Causes Flight Cancellation, Stranding Passengers Overnight

They treated it like a plane-ground. A cross-Canada flight had to be canceled after a misbehaving tot refused to fasten their seat belt, stranding the passengers until the following day.A Porter Airlines flight from Victoria, B.C. to Toronto had to be cancelled Thursday after an unruly toddler refused to buckle their seatbelt. stockphoto-graf – stock.adobe.comThe ludicrous incident occurred on Thursday, Aug. 6, after Porter Airlines flight PD444 had departed the terminal at Victoria International Airport (YYJ) in British Columbia and was prepping to take off for Toronto, CTV News reported. However, their trip hit a hiccup after crew-members noticed the tyke “standing in their seat” and refusing to “secure their seatbelt,” Porter Airlines reps told the outlet.“The aircraft could not take off in this unsafe condition, so the crew elected to return to the terminal and have the passengers disembark,” said Porter Airlines reps in a statement. Andrey Popov – stock.adobe.comThe tot’s parents and crew members attempted to strap the unruly child in, but to no avail, leaving them with no choice but to abort takeoff.“The aircraft could not take off in this unsafe condition, so the crew elected to return to the terminal and have the passengers disembark,” the carrier’s reps recalled.Unfortunately, by the time the family had deplaned and filed the requisite paper work, it was past 12:30am, which is when the runway shutters. As a result, they had to reschedule the trip for the following day, forcing the flyers to stay the night in Victoria.Their flight departed on Friday at 10:49 am local time and touched down in Toronto at 6:16 am, according to FlightAware.Neither crew members nor parents could buckle the tyke in. dennizn – stock.adobe.comPorter Airlines reps apologized “for the effect” the cancellation had on the passengers.Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time a toddler’s antics have impacted a flight.Last month, a frustrated flyer took to Reddit to complain that their flight to Sweden was an hour behind because “incompetent parents” couldn’t make their 3-year-old “brat” sit in his seat while the crew was prepping for takeoff.“Apparently, he was too old to safely sit in his parents’ lap,” they wrote. “So after much screaming from the child, the parents were forced to deboard. We then had to go through the whole thing of refuelling, weights and balance, removing their bags etc.”“I would seriously pay extra to go on adult-only flights,” they added.Their account divided commenters with some blaming the parents while others claimed that some toddlers are too difficult to wrangle even for seasoned guardians.“Even good, experienced parents can’t control a toddler at some point,” said one. “The toddler meltdown is known far and wide and the phenomenon still baffles scientists to this day.”

700 Chris Brown Fans Stranded on Train: The Nightmare Journey Home

700 Chris Brown Fans Stranded on Train: The Nightmare Journey Home

About 700 people – many of them returning to New York City from a Chris Brown concert in New Jersey — were trapped on a disabled train in stifling heat for about two hours before being evacuated early Saturday, according to the FDNY and passengers. The train stalled at around 1:45 a.m. and passengers – many of whom had been at the concert at Metlife Stadium that also featured R&B artist Usher – were left without electricity and air-conditioning, a woman said in a video posted to YouTube by videographer Dakota Santiago.“We were on the train and we smelled smoke like rubber burning,” said the woman, who was not identified. “Then all of a sudden the lights flickered and the train stopped.”About 700 people were evacuated from a disabled train at Moynihan Train Hall after smelling smoke and being trapped for about two hours in stifling heat. FNTVThe FDNY got the call about the disabled train around 1:45 a.m. and 21 FDNY units responded, including 79 fire and EMS personnel, an FDNY spokesman said. The incident was marked under control by 3 a.m.There were an estimated 700 passengers on the train, the FDNY said. The woman in the video said the conductor told passengers the power was out, but that was all.“He told us that the power was out and we just waited and waited and waited,” the woman said. “Finally they got a booster train or something to hook up and to drag us back here two hours later.” NJ Transit personnel were going to walk the passengers back to the station, “but that got too complicated,” she said. Many of the passengers were returning to the city from an R&B concert at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. FNTV“People were starting to get to the point they were starting to bug out,” the woman said. The video shows the passengers walking along a train platform at Manhattan’s Moynihan Train Hall station behind members of the FDNY after they were removed from the inoperable locomotive. When they were finally rescued, the stranded straphangers were stunned to realize just how close to freedom they had been all along. “It took … two minutes to go from where we were to the platform,” Ernesto Valverde, 37, told The Post. EMS workers were waiting to treat any ill passengers in Midtown. FNTVValverde, who had gone to the concert with his wife, said the train had broken down less than a mile from the platform. “So we literally were stuck there for two hours in heat and humidity, essentially, for what amounted to a less than a mile trip,” he said.Valverde took to social media to slam New Jersey Transit for the ordeal. “@NJTRANSIT you are deserving of an A grade on awful service and unpreparedness,” his post on X read. “Stuck less than a mile from NY Penn and there is no crew ready to pull us in. Make it make sense.”FDNY personnel led the passenger through the station after they were towed in by another train. FNTVThere was no power so no air-condtioning on the train on the sweltering day. FNTVHe also said that there was a diabetic passenger on the train. “Thank goodness for the riders on board that are actually ready to jump into action,” the post read.Damara Lee, 49, who also took to social media about the experience, told The Post she didn’t make it back to her Far Rockaway home until 4 a.m. “It was hell,” Lee added, who arrived back to home to Far Rockaway, Brooklyn at 4 a.m. “We lost power. The train got hot. It was bad. It was hot, sweaty, it wasn’t needed.“It took the beauty from the concert,” Lee said, which she noted had also been delayed due to inclement weather. “The concert was great but the commute… What a night, let me tell you.”NJ Transit didn’t return The Post’s call seeking comment Saturday.

Ohio Mom Sparks Outrage After Avoiding Prison for Shocking Hospital Incident

Ohio Mom Sparks Outrage After Avoiding Prison for Shocking Hospital Incident

A mother in Ohio will avoid spending time in prison after she admitted to trying to poison her infant son by injecting human fecal matter into his IV port while he was hospitalized. Franklin County Common Pleas Judge Mark Serrott ordered Tiffany Marie Lesueur to complete three years of community control, as well as to comply with all conditions of her ongoing child services case on Wednesday, August 5. Lesueur, 35, was sentenced after she pleaded guilty to one count of endangering children in connection to an incident that took place earlier this year. She was arrested following the incident that occurred at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. The victim was admitted to the facility on February 6 after he suffered injuries suffered from suspected abuse. Police have not revealed who they believe abused the child or what his injuries were when he was admitted to the hospital. During the infant’s hospitalization, a hospital staff member reported that they saw Lesueur use a syringe to inject an unknown substance into the IV port, according to WTVG. The Columbus Police Department was notified about the incident and they instructed staff to monitor Lesueur’s interactions with the patient during following visits. Hospital staff also went through surveillance footage two days later and found footage of Lesueur trying to contaminate her child's IV with a "foreign substance” for a second time, according to the Columbus Dispatch. The footage reportedly captured Lesueur entering the hospital bathroom around 8:45 p.m. on February 8 and she was carrying a specimen cup. The cup appeared to be filled with fecal matter when she was leaving the restroom, according to WSYX. Lesueur was accused of mixing the fecal matter with a liquid before she used a syringe to inject the concoction into an IV line that was attached to her son’s left hand. After police obtained the footage, Lesueur was arrested and hospital staff immediately started treating the infant. Despite confirming her arrest, the hospital has not shared any information regarding the victim's current condition due to federal privacy laws. Additionally, the child’s exact age has not been revealed and it’s not known whose custody he was in following his mother’s arrest. Lesueur's bond was initially set at $250,000, while a judge also prohibited her from having any unsupervised contact with the victim and other minors. New Jersey Father's Jaw-Dropping Survival After Tree Branch Impales His Brain

A New Jersey father miraculously survived — and insisted he wasn’t even in serious pain — after a “huge” piece of a tree branch shot through his face and into his brain when he fell from a ladder in his yard.Troy Hathaway, 45, came just inches from death while cutting branches in his backyard in Glassboro when the ladder suddenly gave out under him and he fell about 8 feet. When he got up, he had no idea that a broken branch was sticking out of a massive hole in his jaw.X-rays show the branch went through his cheek, into his nose and up into his brain. CBS“Initially, I really thought I broke my jaw,” Hathaway told CBS Philadelphia.“I hadn’t lost consciousness, I wasn’t nauseous… I felt fine other than being a little bit sore and my ego being a little bit bruised,” Hathaway said.Nauseating footage from the operating table shared with the outlet shows doctors carefully plucking a long, thick, leafy stick from Hathaway’s head.Gnarly X-ray images showed the tree branch going through his cheek, nose, eye and up into his brain.Once Hathaway was rushed to the hospital, doctors determined they needed to call in a specialist.“This was a pretty huge piece of tree that was stuck through his face and into his brain. And we needed to move quickly on this, but we wanted to move smart,” Neurosurgeon Chris Farrell said.Farrell’s team decided to go through Hathaway’s nose to remove the branch to avoid having to slice open his skull — similar to a technique sometimes used to remove brain tumors. @cbsphiladelphia A South Jersey father was impaled by a tree branch in his face when he fell from a ladder in his yard. John Goodman’s Stunning Transformation: The Photo Everyone’s Talking About

John Goodman’s Stunning Transformation: The Photo Everyone’s Talking About

Wizards of Waverly Place star David DeLuise had an impromptu run-in with John Goodman, and many fans didn’t even recognize the actor. “He was my childhood !! ❤️ Legend !” DeLuise, 54, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, August 6, alongside a selfie of him and Goodman. “I love that I get to say that to someone ;) If you know you know.” Goodman, 74, posed for a sweet photo with DeLuise after the pair crossed paths in a grocery store. DeLuise beamed as he grinned for the camera while Goodman smiled beside him. Several fans were surprised by Goodman’s recent weight loss, and multiple didn’t recognize the Roseanne alum at first glance. “Is that John Goodman???? @daviddeluise he’s unrecognizable,” one user commented while another replied, “I love John Goodman! Yes, he looks very different, but I bet he feels great!” Goodman has been on a weight loss journey since the mid-2000s. During a 2010 interview with David Letterman, Goodman confessed he reached 400 pounds at one point. “I’d get off of Roseanne every spring. I’d lose 60 pounds every spring,” he explained. “I’d gain it back and then some, every year. It’s going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life.” After struggling to keep the pounds off, Goodman decided to get serious about his wellbeing and make some lifestyle changes. Goodman previously shared that he struggled with overeating and alcoholism. “I was just eating all the time. I was just eating alcoholically. In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a 6-pack of Bud or whatever and just go back to my old habits,” he said in a 2016 interview with ABC News. “Then this time I wanted to do it slowly, move, exercise. I’m getting to the age where I can’t afford to sit still anymore. And it gives me the energy to work, ‘cause work is very draining.” As the years have passed, Goodman has continued to put in the work. In 2023, he revealed that he was officially down 200 pounds after adding kickboxing to his exercise plan. “I dug it. Yeah. Nobody’s going to get hurt, but it’s just hitting the mitts and trying to learn,” he said about boxing in a June 2023 interview with Rolling Stone. “I never got good enough where I would trust myself to spar because once I get whacked in the face, I don’t know if I wouldn’t lose it.”

Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar Quietly Welcome Baby No. 4, Surprising Fans

Counting On alum Jeremiah Duggar and his wife, Hannah Duggar, expanded their family with the recent arrival of baby No. 4. “The sweetest moments we’ve ever known,” Hannah, 31, wrote via Instagram on Friday, August 7, sharing a photo with Jeremiah, 27, and their three daughters peeking at a newborn dressed in a knit blue onesie. “Life feels busier than ever, yet we find ourselves trying to slow down to just soak in these days with our littles. And we wouldn’t have it any other way!” Without further announcing the infant’s name, sex or birthday, Jeremiah’s relatives subtly celebrated the news. His sister Jana Duggar “liked” the post, as did Jason Duggar’s wife, Maddie Grace Duggar. Jeremiah and Hannah had not previously announced that they were expecting another baby. They also share daughters Brynley, 3, Brielle, 2, and Emery, 15 months. Just three months before sharing baby No. 4’s arrival, the married couple celebrated Emery’s first birthday. “I tried not to blink, but somehow a year has gone by and our little baby is 1!” Hannah wrote via Instagram in May. “The way you crinkle your nose and give the cutest grin is like the brightest sunshine and keeps all of us smiling right back at you.” She continued at the time, “You are such a little mover and we absolutely adore having you as part of our family. Happy first birthday to our sparkly little Emery!!” Jeremiah and Hannah began courting, following his family’s tradition, in October 2021. Us exclusively confirmed in March 2022 that the pair said “I do” after a three-month engagement. “Today was a perfect day, as we stood before our family and friends and committed our lives to each other,” Jeremiah and Hannah told Us of their Nebraska nuptials. “It was such a beautiful culmination of so many prayers, dreams & desires! As we’ve seen God’s gracious hand in bringing our lives together, we are excited to see how He will continue to direct our paths.” They concluded, “We are looking forward to sharing our married journey with you. Thank you for sharing our joy!” Less than one year later, Hannah gave birth to daughter Brynley on Christmas Day 2022. Brielle and Emery followed in February 2024 and May 2025, respectively. Jeremiah is one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children, who rose to fame on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On about their life in a big family.

Megan Rapinoe's Strong Reaction to Sophie Cunningham's Controversial Photo

The Sophie Cunningham saga has taken the WNBA world by storm, and now it’s gone outside the league entirely.Former U.S. soccer star Megan Rapinoe criticized Cunningham’s stance against trans athletes in sports and who she seems to be befriending as she rides out the controversy. At a Fever vs. Lynx game on Aug. 2, Riley Gaines — the former college swimmer who is now an activist against trans participation in women’s sports — snapped a photo with Cunningham.Gaines, who has been outspoken on trans athletes since tying in a race with Penn trans swimmer Lia Thomas in 2022, brought a sign to the game that read “Sophie, Thank You – A Girl Mom.” Megan Rapinoe attends an exclusive evening with the cast of “Ted Lasso” season 4 at The Paley Museum on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in New York City. And this is where I think the accountability with having a major platform is extremely important.” Sophie Cunningham poses with activist Riley Gaines at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Aug. 2. Several Republican lawmakers have publicly backed her opinion, including Senators Ted Cruz, Eric Schmitt, and Tommy Tuberville and Representative Eli Crane.

Rylee Arnold's Heartfelt Plea for Sister Lindsay's 'DWTS' Return

Rylee Arnold's Heartfelt Plea for Sister Lindsay's 'DWTS' Return

Rylee Arnold loves following in her big sister Lindsay Arnold’s footsteps as a Dancing With the Stars pro — but what would it take for them to compete on the same season? Rylee, 21, exclusively told Us on Wednesday, August 5, that she’s not sure Lindsay, 32, would step back into the ballroom after retiring from the ABC series in 2021, but she hasn’t given up hope. “I think it's a ‘no’ on her end, just because she is so established in her life,” Rylee explained while promoting her partnership with Dexcom and work as a Dexcom Warrior. “She is a boss woman, and she also has beautiful kids at home, and she's just loving life doing everything that she's doing.” Rylee confessed that it would “take some serious convincing” to get Lindsay back as a pro. “But honestly, it would be a huge dream of mine, and it would make the season so fun,” Rylee told Us of possibly competing against Lindsay for the first time on DWTS. “I will say it to her until she does it, and if she never does, I'll just be sad.” The Utah native teased that she was pushing for Lindsay to come out of retirement throughout Dancing With the Stars Con 2026, which was held in Palm Springs, California, from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, August 2. “I was saying every day, like, ‘Please, just be on this season with me. Like, pretty please, just come back. You can do it,’” Rylee revealed, noting she is convinced that “eventually” Lindsay will make a comeback. Lindsay made her DWTS debut in 2013 for season 16. She remained on the show as a pro through season 28 — missing seasons 17 to 20 when she was a troupe member and season 29 during her pregnancy with baby No. 1. Lindsay returned as a pro for season 30, after which she left the show in 2021. Lindsay won the mirrorball trophy during season 25 with Jordan Fisher. Rylee, meanwhile, began her DWTS journey on Dancing With the Stars: Juniors in 2018. She joined the OG series in 2023 for season 32. She returned for seasons 33 and 34 and is expected to be part of the season 35 pros, which have yet to be announced ahead of the September premiere. While Lindsay and Rylee’s paths as pros on DWTS have not crossed, the sisters teamed up on Saturday, August 1, for a special performance at the Dancing With the Stars Con 2026. Their routine to 1954’s “Sisters” came just seven weeks after Lindsay welcomed her third baby, son Hayes, in June. (Lindsay also shares daughters Sage, 5, and June, 3, with husband Samuel Cusick.) “I loved having my sister Lindsay back with me, and, like, I wish so bad she would do a season with me because it would just make it 1,000 times better,” Rylee told Us of the special moment. “But she's just the best. It was so fun to be able to have a fan experience for everybody.” Rylee noted that it “meant so much” to dance with Lindsay on such a public stage. “I've always looked up to Lindsay my whole life,” Rylee gushed. “So the fact that I was able to share the stage with her and to have that opportunity to just have her there to just support me and love me and hype me up [was great].” She added that having her nieces and nephew at the convention brought the “family” aspect to the forefront. “It's just something you need in a job like I have is people around you that just make you feel sane,” Rylee explained. “They make you feel loved, and that's exactly what she is.” Rylee has always been surrounded by love from her family, which she said has made her ups and downs with diabetes much easier to manage. The professional dancer, who uses the Dexcom G7 glucose monitor every day, told Us that she has learned how to prioritize her health while performing. “I'm now on a continuous insulin pump,” Rylee said, revealing that she needed to step back from the Dancing With the Stars Tour to better manage her health. “I recently got my blood checked, and there's this A1C number, and it basically tells you how healthy you are, and it's dropped down tremendously.” She said she is “fixing that part of my life” so that filming season 35 is “much easier” to manage. “It made the con weekend much easier, and I'm just excited to have that alleviated a little bit because I hate when that adds to my stress and just makes things so much harder,” Rylee continued. “But I feel like I worked so much on my mental health and my physical health this season, and I was able to just get ready for that.” Rylee utilizes her Dexcom G7 monitor — worn on the back of her arm — to integrate with her insulin pump, which helps her manage her diabetes with ease. Her family even uses the Dexcom Follow app to track her glucose levels alongside the dancer during travel, rehearsal and shows. Like other Dexcom Warriors, including Nick Jonas and Lance Bass, Rylee is committed to raising awareness about living with diabetes. “Right when I was diagnosed, I didn't think I was going to dance anymore. I thought I was going to have to stop doing it and fully just devote my life to managing my health,” Rylee told Us, revealing that with tools like the Dexcom G7 monitor and her insulin pump, she hasn’t had to let go of her dream. She concluded, “I feel like I finally am at a point where I understand how to manage my type 1 diabetes. … It was about, like, six years it took me to really get adjusted [and] understand how I react to things, how my body reacts to things, and I finally feel like I'm ready to go.” Get more information about Dexcom at their official website.
