Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni “JWoww” Farley is opening up about a frightening health scare that led to her being hospitalized. “Not the ‘first day of school’ picture I wanted to post… but then again, I guess we wouldn’t have one,” Farley, 41, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, September 3, alongside a photo of herself wearing a hospital gown while posing with daughter Meilani, 12, and son Greyson, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Roger Mathews. She continued, “This past week has probably been one of the hardest weeks of my life. I’ve spent every day fighting to get healthy enough to get home to my family while dealing with a horrible kidney infection and appendicitis.” Farley then admitted that she had felt something was off in her body for “months” before her hospitalization. “I want to say it came out of nowhere, but the truth is, I haven’t felt like myself for months,” she explained. “Weight loss, exhaustion, constantly feeling off … and then last Friday, my body finally said, ‘We aren’t making it like this anymore.’” The reality star added, “I cannot say enough about the incredible hospital team taking care of me and doing everything they could to get me healthy enough to have this moment with my kids. Because no matter where I was, I was going to do my daughter’s hair for her first day. ��❤️.” (The post also included a video of Farley straightening her daughter’s hair in her hospital room’s bathroom.) Farley said her husband, Zack Carpinello — whom she married in a second ceremony in Italy in August after secretly tying the knot in June — played a role in making sure her kids were able to visit her at the hospital before school. “@zackclayton made sure the kids were here extra early this morning so we could all be together,” she wrote. “We didn’t get the picture in front of the house. We didn’t get the normal first-day morning. We got hospital bracelets, a hospital room, backpacks, hair supplies and a memory I don’t think any of us will ever forget.” Farley said the experience made her “think about something much bigger.” “What I am going through is temporary,” she shared. “For some families, something happened this summer that may have changed their lives forever. Some kids are walking into school carrying grief, illness at home, divorce, financial struggles, a new diagnosis or something none of us can see. And some parents may be scrolling today wishing they could have taken that perfect ‘first day’ picture.” Farley concluded, “So as our kids go back to school, please remind them to be kind. Notice the kid sitting alone. Don’t judge someone by what they’re wearing, what they have, or what they didn’t post. You never know what someone is carrying behind closed doors. Savannah Bananas’ Jackson Olson and pro dancer Emma Slater are staying in their own lane on season 35 of Dancing With the Stars. “It sounds really cliché, but I feel like we both feel the same in that we feel like we are going to be the people that we are going to focus on the most. As the premiere date approaches, Olson told Us that he’s more nervous to perform on DWTS than he is about playing Banana Ball. “Obviously, we haven’t even done it yet, and so that’s why it’s nerve-wracking,” he explained. “I think after week one, once we get out there and we see there are three judges judging you — obviously, Emma has done it. I’ve never been judged by anyone. Other than a coach being like, ‘That was good,’ or ‘That was bad.’ It’s like, no, they are giving actual scores, so that’s what I’m nervous for.” And while he laces up his dancing shoes, Olson will have the support of his Savannah Bananas teammates. “They were so excited. A Chinese educator and online commentator known as the “Chinese Nostradamus” has issued five chilling predictions for 2027. Professor Jiang is the online persona of Jiang Xueqin, a Chinese-Canadian educator, former journalist and high-school teacher based in Beijing, who regularly predicts world events. He came to fame after making three high-profile forecasts in 2024: that Donald Trump would win the US election, that the US would go to war with Iran, and that America would lose that war. Following those claims that ultimately came to fruition, Jiang says his 2027 scenario involves five interlocking developments, each severe on its own, but especially dangerous in combination. Jiang predicts US 'full-scale' invasion of Iran and national draft The 'Chinese Nostradamus' has made five new predictions for 2027, including a US invasion of Iran. He claimed, “Prediction one: the ground invasion begins and it becomes a quagmire. So the first prediction is the one that most people are already sensing, but nobody wants to say out loud. “America is going to send ground troops into Iran, a full-scale ground invasion, and it is going to become a quagmire. That is prediction number one.” Next, he says a framework for a national draft will be in place by 2027, possibly with legislation already passed and some people already drafted, but certain groups may refuse. “A national draft and why Gen Z will not go. So by 2027, the framework for a national draft should already be in place,” Jiang said. “It is possible that legislation has already been passed. And here is the problem with the national draft.” In other appearances, he has specified that men aged 18–26 could be automatically enrolled in the draft pool by late 2026, creating a Vietnam-like backlash. Jiang foresees increased ICE presence and issues with the global economy Jiang’s third forecast shifts focus from foreign war to domestic security, predicting a major ramp-up in immigration enforcement and militarised policing inside the US. He says: “Prediction three. And this is a prediction that will surprise most people because most people are focused on what is happening overseas. They are not paying attention to what is happening at home. By 2027, ICE will be far more powerful than most people currently imagine, and the National Guard will be deployed to every major American city.” The fourth prediction is an economic shockwave that he says will hit everyone, regardless of where they live. He describes it as: “Prediction four: the global economy collapses, the just-in-time problem. “And now prediction four. And this is a prediction that will affect every single person watching this video, regardless of where you live.” In related commentary, he has linked this to supply-chain fragility, food-price spikes and market crashes that wipe out ordinary savings. A civil war that escalates into widespread fighting His final and most alarming claim is that by 2027 the conditions for a US civil conflict will already exist – though he stresses this would not look like two conventional armies facing off. He explains: “Prediction five: the ingredients for civil war are in place. And now the fifth and final prediction, and this is the one that connects everything else together. “By 2027, all the ingredients for civil war in America should already be in place. Now I want to be very clear about what I mean by civil war. I do not mean two armies fighting each other in the streets. “That is not what modern civil conflict looks like. What it looks like is this: nationwide discontent, riots, protests, insurgencies, low-level conflict that is everywhere and nowhere simultaneously.” Jiang argues that the real danger lies in the coinciding of all five trends at once. “Think about what happens when all five of my predictions land at the same time: a ground invasion of Iran that is clearly failing and has no end in sight; a national draft that Gen Z is refusing; the National Guard deployed to major American cities; the global economy collapsing and food prices surging; and a market crash wiping out the savings of ordinary families.” Taken together, he suggests this could produce a self-reinforcing cycle of foreign military failure, domestic conscription resistance, heavy-handed internal security measures, economic breakdown and widespread social unrest – the “ingredients” for a modern-style civil war in the United States by 2027. The PE teacher who is on trial at Winchester Crown Court after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a pupil allegedly had a nickname for him. Bronwen James, 30, has denied four counts of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust. The teacher from Chippenham, Wiltshire, also reportedly got the 16-year-old to call him 'Miss' during their sexual encounters . According to the prosecution, their contact started during class at Bitterne Park School in Southampton. James allowed students to use their phones, and the teen in question asked to add her on Snapchat, and while she refused at first, she eventually relented. Before long, their messages 'became flirtatious' and they allegedly 'kissed in the car' during their first meet-up. It also emerged that James saved him as 'Number 8' on her phone for a disturbing reason. Bronwen James is currently on trial at Winchester Crown Court. It was suggested that he was 'the eighth man or boy she had slept with'. The British teacher invited him to her home for sex up to four times, it was said in court. The student said in a video interview with police that they were alone watching Wimbledon in her home when they first had sex. According to the prosecution: “They began watching TV, before kissing and touching each other. She took her clothes off and then he took his clothes off.” It was alleged that the gym teacher would organize their meetings on Snapchat, picking him up so they could kiss in the car in their 'sexually charged relationship'. The court also heard that the Brit told him she 'loved him' and 'wanted to move away' with him. It was alleged that they had unprotected sex, and that this happened on multiple occasions, allegedly four times in total, while they also messaged each other “daily”. The boy admitted to the court that he was 'groomed' by James, though he thought at the time that it was 'great'. The case reportedly came to light after another student showed a teacher messages between James and the victim. James denies sexual relationship The teacher was later interviewed under caution and gave a prepared statement denying any sexual relationship with the pupil. She claimed she had received messages from an unknown number, which turned out to be the boy, and suggested he was “being put up” to make the allegations by another student. Culver told the jury the central issue was whether the alleged encounters happened as described or not. He argued that, whatever her motives, James acted “not only in an unprofessional and overfamiliar way, but failed to recognize any boundaries, exploiting her position to engage in sexual activity with one of her young students”. TLC member Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins’ manager has offered an update on her health after she missed multiple tour dates with Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue. “Tionne recently experienced a sickle cell crisis that required hospitalization, and she is currently recovering and regaining her strength,” TLC rep Christal Jordan told USA Today on Wednesday, September 2. T-Boz, 56, was absent from several TLC concert dates over the past week, leading to bandmate Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas performing the group’s songs solo. (The third original member of TLC, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, was killed in a car crash in April 2002.) A viral video shot during TLC’s show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, featured Chilli addressing T-Boz’s absence. “I'm going to ask each and every one of you to help me hold her down tonight,” an emotional Chilli, 55, says in the clip. Often, it’s hard to breathe or walk or even do something as basic as holding a pen. A crisis can happen without any warning. Just, bam! You’re in the hospital again.” Prior to this latest health scare, TLC cancelled a show at the New York State Fair in Syracuse in August 2024 around 30 minutes before it was supposed to begin. “Shortly after arriving in Syracuse, Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins experienced sudden and severe nausea, vomiting and intense abdominal cramps,” a statement from the group read. “She was immediately seen by a doctor and subsequently taken to the hospital for further evaluation.” T-Boz offered an update on her condition when doctors later diagnosed her with a “severe abdominal blockage.” “I’m on The Mend!!! Curtis stressed that he was only able to "overcome" those insecurities when he learned the value of "self-acceptance and self-love." "It was a long journey in which I realized I could have done it quicker ... There are people who are just suffering because they don't know what the next step is or they need a little bit of inspiration," he said. "That was an easy choice for me." Aniston asked her beau what his advice would be if he were speaking to someone who was "stuck" in the "rat race of life." "I'm not a proponent for 'drop everything and leave,'" he responded. "That [acceptance] was 25 years in the making for me. There's a reality of life too. I always say we're a spirit having a human experience. We have to live the human experience." The CAS ruled the inquiry was made at one minute and four seconds, ultimately reverting to the competition’s original scores and placing Chiles in fifth place.  Earlier this year, however, Chiles scored a win when the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland partially overturned the CAS ruling.  “In the highly exceptional circumstances of the case in question, it considers that there is a likelihood for the audio-visual recording of the final on 5 August 2024 to lead to a modification of the contested award in favor of the applicants,” a statement shared with USA Today read at the time. “The CAS [Court of Arbitration for Sport] could consider, in the light of this audio-visual sequence, that the verbal inquiry made on behalf of Jordan Chiles had been made before the expiry of the regulatory one-minute time limit.” Chiles filed the appeal with the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland in September 2024. “We are delighted that the Swiss Federal Supreme Court has righted a wrong and given Jordan the chance she deserves to reclaim her bronze medal,” Chiles’ attorney Maurice Suh said in a statement. “As the court recognized, there is ‘conclusive’ video evidence that Jordan was the rightful winner of the bronze medal.”  Suh continued, “We also appreciate the Court’s recognition that ‘extraordinary time pressure’ and notification defects prevented Jordan from presenting this important evidence in August 2024. We appreciate that Jordan will receive a full and fair opportunity to defend her bronze medal.” Four out of the five members from Team USA’s women’s gymnastics team — Chiles, Suni Lee, Hezly Rivera and Jade Carey — have announced their plans to return for the Olympics in Los Angeles. I feel damn childlike on days that make me vulnerable to my disease … Substance Use Disorder.” The legendary performer added, “Thank God I have so much support. I’m helped by my darling sister [Lorna Luft], who saved my life, my dearest friend [Michael Feinstein], and the incredible Dr. Lawrence Piro. Without offering further details, Minnelli revealed that she started working with Dr. Richard LeBeau, the director of UCLA’s Psychology Clinic “to develop a program” utilizing all of the lessons she learned for “as many people as possible.” “This will be a companion to Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!, which I am so grateful hit #1 on New York Times bestsellers’ lists, as well as many others here at home, and around the world,” she wrote. “Thank you, Babies.
