Presley Gerber's Tragic Death Sparks Heartfelt Reactions Amid Rehab Battle New

Presley Gerber's Tragic Death Sparks Heartfelt Reactions Amid Rehab Battle

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s son, Presley Gerber, has died. Us confirmed in the late hours of Sunday, September 20, that Presley died in a rehab facility, per records obtained online through the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. He was 27 years old. TMZ was first to report the news, with the outlet noting that an autopsy is yet to be completed. Us has reached out to representatives for Cindy, 60, and Rande, 64. A statement from the family was shared with TMZ on Sunday. “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” it read. Last month, Presley’s sister, Kaia Gerber, publicly commented on her brother’s battle with addiction. “When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” the actress and model, 25, said during an interview with Vogue published on August 11. “I think that’s also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.” Kaia also discussed her Malibu upbringing alongside Presley as her mom remained an international supermodel. “Unfortunately all the things that people assume are true. I was in the ocean every day. My brother would go surfing and then walk up to school in his wetsuit with his surfboard, barefoot. You’re with the same kids from preschool to when you graduate,” Kaia said of the siblings’ upbringing. “There were no Ubers there, so your parents were driving you to parties and then picking you up. There was only so much trouble you could get into.” Presley had shared his mental health battles via candid Instagram posts in recent months. In an act of full transparency in December 2025, he detailed his medication routine at the time. “Here’s some clarity for ya — the truth will set you free (hopefully) haha,” he captioned the clip. “I feel like honesty is the best policy.” Presley then went through his list of current medications, which included one milligram of Buprenorphine two times a day. (Buprenorphine is intended to treat opioid use disorder and pain.) He continued, “Benzos have been fluctuating up and down depending on what’s been going on in my life,” adding that he “had a lot of loss in many different forms recently.” (Benzos or Benzodiazepines assist in slowing down “activity in your brain and nervous system” and are used to treat “anxiety and related mental health conditions,” according to Cleveland Clinic.) The video, filmed inside a sauna, also revealed that Presley was taking a small dose of Xanax to treat panic attacks. “I try to take as little of that as possible,” he explained, adding that he also took Valium but the dosage varied at the time. The video also stated that he had experienced a lack of “direction” from doctors in the past. “I’d like doctors to be like, ‘Take this three times a day,’” he said. “But every psychiatrist I’ve had — and I’ve had 15 — are like, ‘Here’s 20 medications and take this if you feel like this, take this as needed.’” Presley concluded, “I’m hoping this reaches people in many ways … so you feel like you’re not alone, because that is how I feel most of the time. I have a feeling if I say all of this, a lot of people will at least know that there’s someone else going through it.” If you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse, contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).

MetLife Stadium's Traffic Woes: Why Fans Are Dreading Game Days New

MetLife Stadium's Traffic Woes: Why Fans Are Dreading Game Days

Fans heading to MetLife Stadium are in for a game-day nightmare. The New York Giants and New York Jets share the East Rutherford venue as their home field — and it’s home to some of the worst overall traffic conditions on NFL game days, according to a recent study.New research analyzed gridlock data around all 30 NFL stadiums to rank every venue by game-day traffic congestion. The study, conducted by Betpack, evaluated traffic data within a one-kilometer radius of each arena. Stadiums were scored on three key metrics: congestion level, average speed, and travel time per 6.2 miles, which were combined into an overall Congestion Score. An aerial view of MetLife Stadium for a past New York Jets game. Getty ImagesCongestion levels measure how much longer journeys take in traffic compared to free-flow conditions. Betpack calculates this by comparing observed traffic speeds with standard speeds when roads are clear.MetLife Stadium landed near the top of the list as the sixth-most congested NFL stadium, earning an overall traffic score of 72.4 out of 100.On game days, congestion around the arena surges 212.7% above baseline traffic, with average speeds dropping to just 13.4 mph. As a result, navigating six miles of surrounding traffic takes a grueling 27.7 minutes.MetLife’s traffic issue isn’t novel. A Fall 2025 ranking by Pickswise painted an even grimmer picture, rating MetLife as the second-worst stadium for game-day traffic with a score of 30.3 out of 100. That study found East Rutherford had the longest peak travel times, taking fans 38 minutes and 56 seconds to drive just 10 kilometers — nearly 10 minutes longer than at any other stadium.Bad news for those with MetLife season tickets this year. Getty ImagesNissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, posted the worst overall traffic score, where crawling six miles through game-day congestion takes 60.5 minutes. Rounding out the top five worst stadiums for traffic were Soldier Field (Chicago Bears), Empower Field at Mile High (Denver Broncos), Huntington Bank Field (Cleveland Browns), and Bank of America Stadium (Carolina Panthers).“This was the 8th NFL stadium I have been to and the worst to get in or out of. Parking was awful and disorganized,” one TripAdvisor reviewer wrote of MetLife.Another fan who attended the soccer match between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the stadium dubbed it the “worst stadium they had ever visited,” adding, “After the game, it took us almost 1.5 hours just to get from the parking lot to the highway (less than 1 mile away). No exaggeration.”Traffic near the New York New Jersey Stadium, ahead of England’s game against Panama in July for the FIFA World Cup 2026. PA Images via Getty ImagesThe gridlock isn’t limited to football games. Major event goers and World Cup fans have previously been urged to use transit options like NJ Transit as traffic alerts were put in place to manage the severe delays. As for the NFL stadium with the least congestion, the Betpack study found Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, recorded the lowest overall traffic score at just 2.0 out of 100.With both New York football teams starting the season with rare, promising 1-0 records, traffic near MetLife may only get tighter as the 2026 season unfolds.

And I … I remember just thinking, ‘Just gimme one. Just gimme one kid, and I would raise him as best I could, and I would give him the best life I possibly could. I’d tell him about his brother and sister,’” Clancy told Douthat.Patrick Clancy and his new wife, Dr. Rachel Danis, sit down with Ross Douthat of “60 Minutes” on Sept. 20, 2026. 60 MinutesClancy’s interview comes weeks after a mistrial was declared in ex-wife Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial over the killing of the former couple’s three young kids. @60minutes/XThe Clancys with their three kids. Debbie Gibson's Emotional Reach Out to Carrot Top Before His Hospitalization New

Debbie Gibson's Emotional Reach Out to Carrot Top Before His Hospitalization

Debbie Gibson is sending her support to friend Carrot Top after the comedian was hospitalized following an alleged suicide attempt. “Sometimes it’s the ones who make us laugh the hardest who are hurting the most. Sending love to you, Scott @carrottoplive,” Gibson, 56, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, September 20, citing the comedian’s real name. “Scott Thompson a.k.a. Carrot Top is one of those people who will send you a video message at some random time just to let you know he’s thinking of you and to put a smile on your face.” She continued, “I hadn’t heard from him in a little longer than usual, so [I] reached out literally two days ago. I figured he’d reply this week as he often does post-show weekend, so I didn’t think anything of it when I didn’t hear back right away.” Carrot Top, 61, was hospitalized in Las Vegas on Friday, September 18. As a result, his Friday and Saturday comedy shows were subsequently canceled. (Carrot Top has headlined a residency at Las Vegas’ Luxor Casino since 2005.) “Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs,” his rep, Jami Schlicher, said in a statement shared with multiple outlets, confirming the comedy star’s hospital stay. “His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy.” While further details have not been publicly shared, Carrot Top’s celebrity friends like Gibson have vocalized their support. “Check on your friends, especially the ones who give and give and give as Scott does to his loved ones and his audiences,” the singer added on Saturday. “We are all here for you friend, and to anyone going through mental health issues … please know that I myself have a therapist on speed dial.” In her upload, Gibson also advocated for mental health treatment. “I’ve used all kinds of modalities including medications when necessary. I continue to explore whatever is going to best help me stay safe and happy and healthy on all levels,” she noted. “Life is full of layers that nobody sees. There is no stigma in prioritizing your mental and emotional well being at all times!!!” Gibson concluded, “This is a safe space and a loving community for all of you going through whatever you’re going through.” If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau's Red Carpet Chemistry Steals the Show New

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau's Red Carpet Chemistry Steals the Show

Katy Perry and her boyfriend, Justin Trudeau, enjoyed a glamorous red carpet date night at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. Perry, 41, stepped out at the Saturday, September 19, grand opening in a strapless, white Christian Siriano gown with Trudeau, 54, on her arm. Complementing the pop star’s ensemble, the former Canadian prime minister looked dapper in a black suit. Perry and Trudeau have been romantically linked since summer 2025. “I have love in my life now. That’s transformed me,” Perry gushed of their relationship on Justin Tranter’s “Unfamous” podcast in June. “You think when The Beatles say, ‘All you need is love,’ it’s a cliché? Clichés are clichés for a reason … it’s like you don’t know until you have your baby how beautiful that experience is and how it transforms you.” She added at the time, “I am constantly in transformation, and I have so many placements of Scorpio in my chart that it would be easy for me to go to the dark side. I’m constantly rebirthing, constantly transforming, constantly, you know, phoenix to ashes, then hopefully eagle.” Perry found love with Trudeau months after her split from Orlando Bloom. Us broke the news in summer 2025 that Perry and Bloom, 49, called off their six-year engagement but remained committed to coparenting their 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. While speaking on Tranter’s podcast, Perry admitted that the past year had been “pretty tough” in the wake of her breakup. “It would have been easy for me to fall into that weird victim triangle,” she acknowledged. “So, instead of falling into ‘woe is me,’ I was just like, ‘Let’s just feel this f***ing pain, let’s feel this anger and let’s move on. Let’s learn from it also. Let’s get some feedback from it.’” Perry and Trudeau, who shares three kids with ex-wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, have since introduced their children to one another. “They will finally have time to settle in as a blended family,” a source exclusively told Us in July. “Over the last month, they have been coparenting in Europe [during Katy’s tour], and their exes Sophie and Orlando have been there. The idea is to re-stabilize and have some down time in August to figure out the architecture of what their relationship looks like, to lay some roots down and get a proper rhythm. They want to make sure there is a stable system to nurture their kids.”

Ed Sheeran's Emotional Breakdown: Family Tensions Over Macklemore Controversy New

Ed Sheeran's Emotional Breakdown: Family Tensions Over Macklemore Controversy

Ed Sheeran said he’s lost family and close friends after igniting controversy due to Macklemore getting kicked off his Loop Tour over the rapper’s pro-Palestine comments. The devastated musician broke down in tears and sat cross-legged onstage at one point during his concert at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia Saturday night, reflecting on the week in which all his opening acts quit — including his own backing band — in solidarity with Macklemore.“In these situations you really find out who your friends are. It’s been a weird week,” he told the crowd in video captured by a fan. “It happened very quickly. At the same time, I had so many people telling me to cancel this tour and so many people I’ve known for years and years and years they’re kind of backing away.”“In the back of my mind, I saw the ticket sales for this gig and I didn’t see cancellations, I saw people buying tickets for this gig,” he continued as the crowd started to cheer. “Everyone’s telling me to cancel and I’m feeling all of my friends and family and people I know abandon me.”Ed Sheeran emotionally said during his Sept. 19 show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia that he felt his friends and family abandoned him after the Macklemore “Free Palestine” controversy. / SplashNews.comThe singer broke down in tears onstage. / SplashNews.comBut the “Thinking Out Loud” singer said he was performing for his fans.“I look at the end of the week and I see 50,000 people who haven’t abandoned me,” he noted. “People will say what they want, but I am doing this for you. I love you. I love this.”He called the concert the best show of his life, but called the past week one of the worst weeks he’d experienced. He later cried as he said that he felt so much love from the audience, after he was initially worried about his safety and that people would boo him.“The world is a scary place right now, America is a scary place right now,” he said, before pointing to the audience and noting, “This gives hope.”He told the audience, “In these situations you really find out who your friends are.” / SplashNews.comHe also shared, “Everyone’s telling me to cancel and I’m feeling all of my friends and family and people I know abandon me.” / SplashNews.comAhead of the show, Sheeran, 35, took drastic security measures because he feared people would throw things at him onstage.“At this point in the show, to be honest, I usually go out on the B stage,” he said,“I apologize that today is not the usual Loop show,” he continued. “I took the B stage out because was afraid of what might happen if I stood in the middle. And I will admit that.”Although the Grammy-winner didn’t name the family who abandoned him, his cousin Jethro Sheeran publicly blasted him online Thursday. But Sheeran said he was performing for all of his fans who made the effort to come see him. / SplashNews.comThe Grammy-winner did take extra security measures at the concert, admitting he removed a stage that would put him in the middle of the crowd because he was afraid people were going to throw things at him. via REUTERS“Finally it’s all coming out! I’m ashamed of my cousin Ed he’s done. Finally the world and all his fans see through him. He’s not a good person, I don’t like his music so I can’t say he’s even a good artist,” Jethro posted on Instagram. He also wrote, “He’s honestly a selfish individual with malicious, cunning ways… I’m his first blood cousin and he screwed me over, made fun of my mental health and mental health in general.”Despite Macklemore previously saying that Ed was pressured into dropping him from his tour by stadium owners, Jethro said he believes Ed made the decision himself, calling his cousin “shady” and a “coward.”“In my opinion he’s a bad human. Just my opinion from my experiences,” he wrote. There were pro-Palestinian protestors demonstrating outside of the venue Saturday, as seen above. He called on Robert Kraft, the billionaire owner of the New England Patriots and Kraft Group, to match his donation.Kraft, who owns Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachasetts, and was one of the stadium owners who refused to let the “Thrift Shop” rapper perform after his “Free Palestine” speech, donated $2 million after he said Sheeran asked him to. In a statement about the massive donation, Kraft, 85, insisted that he’s dedicated his life to trying to help people come together and believes that “all lives are worth protecting.”Sheeran’s next tour dates are Sept. 25 and Sept. 26 at Kraft’s Gillette Stadium. Jamie Lynn Spears Opens Up After 'Sweet Magnolias' Cancellation Shocks Fans New

Jamie Lynn Spears Opens Up After 'Sweet Magnolias' Cancellation Shocks Fans

Jamie Lynn Spears is speaking out after the shocking cancellation of Netflix’s hit dramedy Sweet Magnolias. “I can’t put into words how much the people who make up our Sweet Mags family mean to me, and that’s not just the producers, cast, crew & @Netflix who are like actual family at this point, but also each of you who watched and became a part of our family as well,” Spears, 35, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, September 20. “It’s so rare to have five seasons straight be #1 around the whole world, in a business where getting a 2nd season of anything is almost impossible these days.” Netflix announced on Friday, September 18, that Sweet Magnolias was canceled and there would not be a sixth season of the show. Spears, for her part, starred as Noreen, a nurse new to Serenity, South Carolina, who has an affair with her boss, Dr. Bill Townsend (Chris Klein). Before Noreen and Bill welcomed their daughter, Rebecca, the town pediatrician divorced wife Maddie Townsend (Joanna Garcia Swisher). Noreen and Maddie eventually bonded after Bill’s death, each also finding new love interests. Sweet Magnolias was Spears’ return to Hollywood after taking a break from the cameras to focus on raising her children. (Spears shares daughter Maddie, 18, with ex Casey Aldridge and daughter Ivey, 8, with husband Jamie Watson.) “Maddie was in middle school and Ivey was a little baby, still breast-feeding when the producers were just crazy enough to give this insecure but hopeful young mama a chance,” Spears recalled on Sunday of being cast on Sweet Magnolias season 1. “Little did they know they were actually giving a part of myself ‘life’ again, a part of myself I desperately needed and it healed me in ways that allowed me to grow as an actress, but most importantly as a person and a mother.” She continued, “I was given the gift of being able to provide for my family, doing something I was proud of, surrounded by people I respected and loved while creating something we all valued. I owe it all to each and every person who loved Serenity, and the people who made it what it was.” The Zoey 101 alum further thanked the show creators and fans alike for allowing her to “be a part of this magical family.” “That’s something that will never end ,” Spears concluded. Spears’ remarks particularly hit home for costars, including Garcia Swisher, 47. “I love you so much,” the Reba alum replied in the comments section. “You’re a gift! And forever my family.” All five seasons of Sweet Magnolias are currently streaming on Netflix.

Prince Harry and Meghan's Struggles Echo Princess Diana's Tragic Past New

Prince Harry and Meghan's Struggles Echo Princess Diana's Tragic Past

Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, sees “echoes” of what happened to his late sister in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s treatment by the public.“If you look at an article in a tabloid about Diana or the couple that you’re mentioning, Harry and Meghan, they can be really, really unpleasant,” the 9th Earl Spencer pointed out to the BBC in a Sunday interview about his forthcoming book, “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.”“I think it would be really beholden on people to learn from Diana’s example,” he continued, referencing his sister’s death in August 1997 at age 36.Charles Spencer compared Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s treatment by the public to his sister Princess Diana’s experience in an interview this weekend. BBCThe 9th Earl Spencer (pictured above with Harry in July 2021) railed against “unpleasant” stories about his nephew’s family. REUTERSDiana, notably, died in a high-speed Paris car crash while being pursued by photographers.Spencer subsequently took aim at “cancerous” criticism of Harry, 42, and Markle, 45 — while clarifying he was not there “to speak for” them.“For anyone who is being destroyed in this way daily, it must be such a cancerous influence in their life,” the 62-year-old noted.Spencer said that his late sibling was “very, very sensitive to criticism” and disputed the belief that she “had this splendid life, it was all amazing, [and] she was so privileged and so perfect in so many ways.”“I think it would be really beholden on people to learn from Diana’s example,” he told the BBC. BBCDiana (pictured above in 1983), notably, died in a high-speed Paris car crash in 1997 at age 36 while being pursued by photographers. She has this warmth about her.”Harry, we hear, was made aware of the bombshells written in Spencer’s memoir, which comes out Tuesday. Additionally, the deadline-making excerpts of the tell-all that have been making headlines all week were not “a shock” to him.In the book, Spencer alleged King Charles III, who was divorced from Diana at the time of her death, sounded “giddily elated like a lottery winner” after her fatal crash. He also wrote that the now-monarch, 77, vowed that his former spouse would be “forgotten soon enough.”In the book, Spencer (pictured above on Sept. 10) bashes Charles — and stood by this decision in his BBC sit-down. charles.earl.spencer/instagramSpencer’s memoir, “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,” comes out Tuesday. via REUTERSCharles hit back at the claims in a statement about how “the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and color memory in ways others do not recognize, even many years after such a loss.”Spencer, meanwhile, doubled down during his conversation with the BBC, insisting he was “telling the truth” about the “monstrous” comments.“I can tell you here and now, those are exactly the words he said,” he alleged. “I was hyper alert to what he was saying and those are precisely the words that he said and I promise that to you now. Ole Miss Fans' Explosive Reaction to Lane Kiffin's Return New

Ole Miss Fans' Explosive Reaction to Lane Kiffin's Return

College GameDay cohost Pat McAfee was momentarily speechless on live TV when Ole Miss fans made their feelings about former coach Lane Kiffin all too clear. “Whatever you think about today, you can’t help but…,” McAfee, 39, trailed off on ESPN’s coverage as Ole Miss supporters began chanting “F*** Lane Kiffin” on Saturday, September 19. With the booming chants getting louder, McAfee quipped, “OK … that wasn’t what I was thinking! It’s certainly what a lot of them are thinking!” Saturday’s college football game between Ole Miss and LSU at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, marked the first time Kiffin, 51, returned to the venue since he left his head coaching job to lead the LSU Tigers. “Lane Kiffin, he hopped in a truck and went right down to Baton Rouge. Now, he hopped in a couple trucks to head right back here to Oxford,” McAfee joked on College GameDay. The coach announced his departure from Oxford in November 2025 after leading the Rebels to an 11-1 regular season. At the time, Ole Miss was preparing for its first College Football Playoff appearance. “After a lot of prayer and time spent with family, I made the difficult decision to accept the head coaching position at LSU,” Kiffin announced last November. Kiffin said that he’d hoped to “complete a historic six season run” with Ole Miss through the playoffs so he could honor “the team's incredible success and their commitment to finish strong.” “My request to do so was denied by [athletic director] Keith Carter despite the team also asking him to allow me to keep coaching them so they could better maintain their high level of performance,” he added. In the aftermath of his Ole Miss exit, Kiffin told ESPN in July that he regretted the way his move to LSU was handled. “I think that's a good thing that I look at life that way now, instead of saying, 'No, I don't. I was right,’” he argued. “I look at things always now, like, how could I have done them better? But it's also easier when you're further removed. There's no emotion involved.” Tensions are still running high on the Ole Miss campus, with Kiffin telling reporters that there were “real safety issues and stuff” ahead of Saturday’s game. “There’s people that have a plan for that, it is what it is,” Kiffin said in a press conference on Monday, September 14. “But I told the players today, you don’t have anything to worry about as far as attention on you all week. There’s so much attention and hatred on me, you just get to go play.” Lane’s daughter Landry — who is a student at Ole Miss — spoke out earlier this week to condemn vulgar banners from around the campus relating to her and a former Rebels football player. (Landry is actually dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks.) “I’m still a student at Ole Miss. I’ve loved my time here, and I love Ole Miss. So that’s what kind of makes this all even more upsetting,” Landry, 21, explained via TikTok on Wednesday, September 16. “I opened my phone this morning to pictures of banners on houses around Oxford posted on different accounts saying really inappropriate things about me and with somebody that genuinely I have never met in my life, which makes it even more frustrating to say the least.” She pointed out that “turning a girl into the punch line of a sexual joke” should never be acceptable. “I understand emotions are high this week and people are upset, but I am my own person,” she told viewers. “I’ll just never understand how someone can feel good about themselves putting such vulgar things about a girl on a giant banner hanging from their house. I feel like that’s really mind-blowing to me. I just hope people realize there is an actual person behind the jokes that they make.”

Lauren Boebert Fires Back at Explosive Ethics Allegations

Lauren Boebert Fires Back at Explosive Ethics Allegations

Rep. Lauren Boebert is firing back over a House Ethics Committee complaint alleging that she had sex with three current and former staffers. “Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever,” a spokesperson for Boebert, 39, told Us on Saturday, September 16. “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.” The Colorado representative’s office spoke out following American Muckrakers’ David Wheeler submitting a sworn statement about her alleged misconduct with three staffers — two female and one male — to the House Committee on Ethics earlier this week, reports The Colorado Times Recorder. The complaint alleges that Boebert previously arranged a $200,000 hush money payment to prevent one staffer from filing their own ethics complaint. “[These accusations] come from an activist who has long recycled sensational claims, including numerous baseless accusations previously fact-checked as false,” Boebert’s rep said. Wheeler and Boebert have had a long-running feud that dates back over four years and has involved multiple threats of legal action. Us has reached out to Rep. Boebert’s office for comment. The ethics complaint against Boebert could carry serious consequences as the House Code of Official Conduct strictly prohibits representatives from having intimate or sexual relationships with staff who work directly under them in their offices or on committees. In September 2023, Boebert — an outspoken ally of President Donald Trump — publicly apologized over reports that she and a companion were thrown out of Denver’s Buell Theatre during a performance of Beetlejuice The Musical. The prominent Republican politician initially denied accusations that she and her companion were vaping and groping one another during the performance — though she later conceded she’d acted inappropriately, in part, because of the trauma of her then-pending divorce from ex Jayson Boebert, per CPR News. “The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I'm truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community,” she wrote at the time. “There's no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family.” Her statement concluded, “I've tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday. That's unacceptable and I'm sorry.” More recently, Boebert appeared to poke fun at former House colleagues Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-California) and Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) resigning due to separate sex scandals earlier this year. “Like, I mean, why is everybody so horny here?” Boebert asked reporters on the steps of Capitol Hill in April. Speaking to Nexstar D.C. correspondent Vinay Simlot, Boebert recommended that troubled colleagues should “go to church [and] find Jesus.” Boebert has represented Colorado’s fourth district since January 2025, having previously served the state’s third congressional district.

Long Island Woman's Terrifying Birthday: Trapped in Backyard Cesspool

A Long Island woman fell into an overflow cesspool in her backyard Thursday — leaving her screaming for help and fearing for her life on her birthday.Danielle Tammone, now 47, plunged eight feet at her Bohemia home as her golden retriever Daisy watched in terror while she shrieked for help.“It happened so quickly — my feet just sunk a little bit, but it was like seconds. I didn’t even have time,” Tammone told 1010 WINS. Danielle Tammone is rescued after falling into a sinkhole in her backyard. Credit: X“And then I was just ‘hoop!’ down the hole. Just in the ground.”Tammone began to slowly make sense of her surroundings while in a state of shock. “Okay… what just happened?” she asked herself. “Like, where am I? Alright I’m in the ground. You’re in a hole, wow.” As she began to panic, her thoughts raced toward death. “And then the panic starts, because you’re like wow I could die today. This could not end well. I could be buried alive.”Tammone screamed for help and her neighbors, whom she had never met before, quickly rushed to her rescue and dialed 911.  Danielle Tammone is rescued after falling into a sinkhole in her backyard. We were not looking on the ground,” Christine Chanowsky told CBS. “And they said keep screaming, don’t stop screaming,” Tammone said. Chilling backyard video obtained by 1010 WINS shows the heroic duo sprinting over and promising aid.“Oh my God, she fell into the ground,” one neighbor cried out, adding, “we are on the phone with 911.” “You’re going to be fine, Danielle. They are on their way,” the other reassured her.The harrowing ordeal triggered raw emotion for Chanowsky, who was immensely relieved her neighbor survived unharmed.“Firemen, cops, ambulance, special unit, EMTs — they were wonderful,” she told CBS. “I was tearing up. I was crying. As soon as she got out of the hole, just gave her the biggest hug,” Chanowsky said.First responders hauled Tammone from the pit using a ladder after the tense ten-minute nightmare.Battered but resilient, Tammone — a physical therapist — is now on the mend.“And they all sang happy birthday to me. It was great,” she beamed. It remains unclear whether sewage was inside the pit.
