JACKSON, Miss. — Police in Mississippi have arrested a second man in the death of a Black woman found hanging from a tree and have issued an arrest warrant for a third suspect.Jackson police said late Tuesday that they arrested 25-year-old Earnest Lloyd Jr. in the death of 29-year-old Tasia Fortune, whose body was found hanging behind an abandoned home in the city on Aug. 3.Like Fortune and the first man arrested, 51-year-old Jarques Ratliff, Lloyd is Black.Jackson police said late Tuesday that they arrested 25-year-old Earnest Lloyd Jr. (pictured) in the death of 29-year-old Tasia Fortune. Collin Gosselin's Journey: Proving Kate Gosselin Wrong on 'Special Forces'

Collin Gosselin’s decision to join Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test was influenced by more than just one factor. “I mean, a part of me for a long time was like, ‘I'm gonna prove my mom wrong after everything she did to me as a kid,’” Collin, 22, exclusively shared with Us before the show’s season 5 premiere on Thursday, September 24. “But at a certain point, it's not for her — this journey, saying yes and going out in the jungle — this was for me.” When Special Forces premiered in 2023, Kate Gosselin was the first celebrity contestant out of the competition when she was medically withdrawn in the first episode. As season 5 kicks off this month, Collin is determined to complete more tasks than his estranged mom. “Looking back, it's been a couple of months, but I feel like I learned and grew so much, and I did this for me and for all the children who are part of the mission I'm on,” Collin explained to Us. “I just want to show them you can be strong. You can be a warrior and push through and keep going. That's who I did it for. Not for her.” Collin grew up in the spotlight when his parents, Kate, 51, and Jon Gosselin, appeared on the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8. When his parents divorced in 2009, Collin remained on TV thanks to Kate Plus 8. He later moved in with his father full-time and began speaking out about the alleged abuse he experienced from his mother. (Kate’s lawyer shared in a 2024 interview with Fox News that she would not be responding to the allegations.) Collin is expected to share his story about “truth, survival, resilience and finding my voice after years of being silenced” in the upcoming book titled In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood.  While filming Special Forces, Collin was grateful to build such strong connections with his fellow contestants, including Ruby Rose. The bonds formed while filming pushed him to keep going. “There's nothing else out there besides the people around you,” he shared. “That bond we shared — at the end of the day we'd all sit on our cots and talk, and that's what kept me going — that community is really all you have out there.” When asked if Jon, 49, could ever join the show in the future, Collin made it clear that he doesn’t see the DJ traveling to the jungle to complete demanding training exercises led by an elite team of ex-special forces operatives. “He wouldn't do it,” Collin said. “After I told him everything when I came back home, he was like, ‘I'm glad I didn't do that. The next time Giants fans will see Jaxson Dart suiting up for their team will be heading into the 2027 season.The 23-year old quarterback is expected to undergo surgery to repair damage in his left knee, forcing his 2026 season to come to a shockingly premature end after only two games, The Post confirmed.The worst fears surfaced after imaging on Tuesday, the day after Dart went down on the seventh offensive snap in a 28-6 loss to the Rams on “Monday Night Football” when he was hit high-low by two Rams defenders. Initial X-rays revealed an injury to Dart’s medial collateral ligament. That his anterior cruciate ligament was intact gave the Giants reason to believe Dart had avoided the most serious knee injury and that a return in the standard timeframe for a sprained MCL — 3-5 weeks — was possible. Dart also injured his meniscus and posterior cruciate ligament, according to ESPN, and that necessitated the need for season-ending surgery.Dart and his team sought additional medical opinions, hoping to be able to avoid surgery that would end his season, but it was determined that he could not play, even with extended rest, with so much damage to the knee.This means John Harbaugh, two games into his tenure as the head coach, must get his team to believe it can win games without Dart. One of the main reasons Harbaugh accepted the Giants job — for five years and $100 million — was because Dart was on the roster, giving Harbaugh confidence he already had a bona fide starting quarterback in place.This also means Jameis Winston, the 32-year old backup quarterback, takes over the reins of an offensive system that was specially designed for Dart’s expansive and varied skill-sets. Winston was 0-2 as a starter for the Giants in 2025, filling in when Dart was in concussion protocol. Winston is 36-53 as a starter in his 12 NFL seasons and has not started more than seven games in a season since 2019 with the Buccaneers. A former Heisman Trophy winner and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Winston did not live up to expectations and the Giants are his fourth NFL team. The Giants earlier this month gave him a two-year contract extension worth $13 million, believing he is one of the better backup quarterbacks in the league.Winston played poorly filling in for Dart in Week 2. Maggie, 31, has been a supportive presence in the crowd so far this season, but her famous father, Pat Sajak, has yet to make an appearance. "We need to [have him here]," Olson told Us. "I think he'll be at one of these." Tuesday's episode of the ABC competition show had Olson and his pro partner, Emma Slater, performing a foxtrot to “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams, which earned an 18 out of 30 from the judges. "We were still exhilarated. What I realized about this show is that one point difference is so drastic. It is more than I've ever seen," the athlete told Us. "Like, in baseball, your batting average is from zero to 1,000 points. So if you're hitting 360 or 300, it's not that you're like, 'All right, whatever.' That's 60 points, but it's not that much." Olson was thrilled to see his scores improving from night one, saying, "We got 5s last week, 6s this week. You could see how excited we were about it." The duo praised the way each of them has handled the ups and downs of putting on a performance in such limited time. "I do feel like, naturally, we're very sunny people. I think — if I may pat us both on the back — I kind of feel like that's a bit of a superpower," Slater, 37, noted. "Like, if you can wake up every day and just naturally be happy and find joy, I think that's such a strength. You're able to love on everybody. You're able to see beauty everywhere." She continued: "You can find reasons to be happy every day. That's an amazing thing and I hope that people can see that. I know that sometimes that's not easy to do, but if you can, that's the best." Looking ahead, Slater and Olson teased big plans for Yacht Rock Week. "The postures had a really big improvement, and we're going to keep going, because this is the new standard," she noted. "We've been working on all of these things and each new dance has [a] different technique to add to it. But I'm really excited to teach him that technique and just build, build, build." Olson, meanwhile, hopes he can keep making the judges proud, saying, "I really took it to heart this week when they all said last week, 'Jackson, it was [a] great performance, but there were a lot of bad parts of your technique.' We took some moves out that might have been a little bit too frantic, and I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, we're taking out moves that I learned already.' Niall Horan continues to honor his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne. During the Tuesday, September 22, opening night of his Dinner Party Live on Tour, Horan, 33, played recorded audio of the late Payne being interviewed. “We thought something might happen but never anything like this,” the audio began right after Horan wrapped his tribute song “End of an Era” in Birmingham, England, per X fan footage. The audio continued, “I always try to remind myself of where I’ve come from and where I’ve managed to get to in my life. It’s amazing, really.” Payne died in October 2024 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31 years old. As the recording played, darkened stage lighting captured Horan looking out above the audience in a moment of reflection. The musician, who released his fourth solo studio album, Dinner Party, in June, held his hands on his hips as he stood solemnly before the stage lights went out altogether. One day after news of Payne’s death made headlines, Horan and his fellow One Direction bandmates issued a group statement. “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say,” the October 17, 2024, statement from Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Horan read. The band, which formed in 2010 after meeting on Britain’s The X Factor before splitting in 2016, continued: “For now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam.” The following day, Horan issued his own public statement that revealed he had reunited with Payne just two weeks prior to his death. “I’m absolutely devastated about the passing of my amazing friend, Liam,” Horan’s Instagram tribute read. “It just doesn’t feel real. Liam had an energy for life and a passion for work that was infectious. He was the brightest in every room and always made everyone feel happy and secure. All the laughs we had over the years, sometimes about the simplest of things, keep coming in mind through the sadness. We got to live out our wildest dreams together and I will cherish every moment we had forever. The bond and friendship we had doesn’t happen often in a lifetime.” It continued, noting that Payne had attended Horan’s Argentina concert on October 2, 2024. “I feel so fortunate that I got to see him recently,” Horan shared. “I sadly didn’t know that after saying goodbye and hugging him that evening, I would be saying goodbye forever. It’s heartbreaking.” Horan’s third single from Dinner Party, “End of an Era,” was released to honor Payne, with lyrics including, “We had it, pure magic / Remembering what it was like / Time passes so fast that / I couldn’t tell you goodbye.” He stated via Instagram on May 19: “Julian Bunetta, John Ryan and I started the original version of this song years and years ago. We rewrote it about four times without ever feeling it was quite right. As we were working on this album, we revisited it. Some songs take a minute to get to what you’re actually trying to say. This one was one of those. I hope it means as much to you as it does to me.”

Happily, Guterres steps down in December, and the leading candidate to replace him, Costa Rica’s Rebecca Grynspan, could prove a major improvement (despite her progressive leanings).The League of Nations also failed its mission to address conflicts fairly and effectively — and melted away as Hitler marched. Trump still hopes the United Nations can do better  . . .  if it listens.

The pair have remained close friends. “Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it,” Wood continued. “Everyone who loved Presley and was loved by him knows he was one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people. He loved so deeply, so purely, was incredibly romantic and thoughtful.” Wood added that Presley was “incredibly resilient” and “fought so hard for his life” as he battled addiction and mental health struggles for a decade. “He was brave enough to be open about that fight,” she wrote. “More than anything, he wanted to use his story to help other people, and he did.” Wood concluded, “I feel so lucky to have shared so many years of friendship, so many memories and so much love with him. The former couple reportedly split one month later. Us confirmed on Sunday, September 20, that Presley — the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber — had died while in rehab. (The couple also share daughter Kaia Gerber.) “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” his loved ones said in a statement. The Santa Monica Police Department told Us on September 21 that officers responded to a call regarding a possible overdose at 9:35 a.m. local time the previous morning. Authorities found an unresponsive adult male at the scene. Presley’s death is being investigated as a possible overdose. No foul play is suspected. Presley’s autopsy was completed on Monday, September 21, Us confirmed. The model’s cause of death is not yet known, with the medical examiner noting that the determination has been “deferred.” “A deputy medical examiner performed an examination today and the cause and manner of death have been deferred, which means additional testing and/or studies were requested in order to make a determination,” read a statement from the ME’s office. “Due to the ongoing death investigation, the DME cannot disclose what testing and/or studies were requested. Deferred cases can take a few months before a cause of death is determined.” In the years before his death, Presley opened up about his addiction journey through an Instagram series called “Mental Health Mondays.” In a video from December 2025, he revealed which medications he had used to treat “panic attacks,” including Buprenorphine, Xanax and Valium. Later, in March 2026, Presley revealed that he had undergone another form of treatment called Ibogaine, a naturally occurring psychoactive alkaloid derived from the root of Tabernanthe iboga that can be used for opioid and alcohol dependence. “Pre Ibogaine Flood Dose — quiet moment before everything changed. I was absolutely terrified, and I knew I would be again if I ever had to face something like this (helps to not go into the situations you do that get ya there, but that’s life sometimes),” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “Letting go of control didn’t come easy, but I trusted there was something bigger than me guiding it. I knew why I was there. I faced what I had been running from, and somewhere in all of it, I started finding my way back to myself ��…. We shall see…. Leah Stewart / Instagram“Unfortunately this is not the post I was wanting to do but I had my graft checked yesterday and it was confirmed that it failed,” Stewart said.“So, I am feeling pretty devastated had quite a few tears and now we’re not really sure where to go from here.”Stewart said it’s been three and a half months and her leg is “still open.”“I guess the only good thing is we’re trying something different, so I’m having a little break from the vac machine which means I can move a little bit more freely.”The medical device, called Vacuum-Assisted Closure (VAC), is used to securely hold a new skin graft in place and help it heal.It creates suction, pulling the wound together and removing fluid.In the clip, Stewart proceeded to show viewers what her leg looks like for the first time.“I guess a lot of you wouldn’t know what a skin graft looks like so I’ll actually show you,” she said as she stood back, away from the camera.“I haven’t shown my legs yet so I’m a little nervous about this.“Here is where they took the skin from my right leg,” she said while pointing to the top of her thigh.“It’s still pretty raw but thankfully it’s healing. And they put it on my left leg but unfortunately it didn’t work.“Anyway we keep moving forward.”This is the 34-year-old’s second skin graft attempt.Earlier this month, the Sydney mother recounted her harrowing story of survival on Australia’s version of ’60 Minutes’, detailing the moment she came face-to-face with a shark moments before it severed her arm and left her fighting for life on Coogee Beach in June.“In my head, I was like, ‘You ugly f–ker, you are not taking me away from my daughter,’” Stewart told the current affairs program.“I twisted myself around and I just started punching it over and over and over again … I think I must have got a really good one in. And so it let me go.”Earlier this month, the Sydney mother recounted her harrowing story of survival on 60 Minutes. NineFollowing the interview, Stewart copped flak, with some people accusing her of making up parts of the story they claim she simply couldn’t have remembered – including former AFL player and current radio host Brendan Fevola.Fevola implied Stewart was playing up her account of being attacked by the shark and repeatedly punching it away.“She’s missing a limb, like her forearm is gone … if a shark was attacking you, you wouldn’t have much time to think I wouldn’t have thought,” Fevola said on radio.“I was on the couch with my wife Alex and my kids going, ‘She’s lying. Too much time to think. She’s quite entitled to call it whatever she wants in this situation, the fact that people even bring that up is the reason we (put) warning labels on batteries telling us not to eat them.”Nancarrow said he observed the baseless comment “it’s their home” more than he could count, questioning how it would make the situation “any more less scary.”“Just because people are living life and not hiding behind their screens scared of everything in the big wide (world) doesn’t mean this stuff doesn’t suck, people die in car accidents all the time, cars are on the road, it’s still tragic,” he said.“If a shark attack where a woman almost lost her life and a child her mother, makes you deep think into how you can belittle her in an online comment section as your first thought, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.”A host of people on the beach contributed to saving Stewart’s life, including a world champion paddleboarder who brought her to shore, a trauma-specialist doctor who was having a coffee nearby, and Life Savers and uniformed police on patrol.In the hospital, Stewart’s left arm was amputated below the elbow; she was in an induced coma for 10 days and underwent multiple surgeries.
