The Sweet Moment Taylor Swift Became 'Aunt Tay Tay' to Travis Kelce's Nieces

Travis Kelce is offering new insight into his wife Taylor Swift’s dynamic with his four young nieces. “We had to break that habit with your daughters,” Travis, 36, told brother Jason Kelce on the Wednesday, September 16, episode of their “New Heights” podcast, after the pair joked that it felt wrong to call upcoming podcast guest Tom Cruise by anything other than his full name. “When they got to meet Aunt Tay Tay, they were calling her ‘Taylor Swift.’” Travis began dating Swift, 36, in 2023, eventually introducing his nieces to the pop star. (Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, have four daughters: Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 17 months.) Jason, 38, further explained that whenever his kids addressed Swift or asked her questions, they would say both her first and last name. “[It was] adorable,” Travis quipped, noting that Jason’s kids have since gotten more casual with the Grammy winner like he has with Cruise, 64. “It was definitely ‘Tom Cruise’ the first two times, but then coming to the game and us sitting down right here [on the podcast], that’s my guy, Tom.” Before Travis and Jason interviewed Cruise — the conversation drops Friday, September 18 — the Mission Impossible star sat beside Swift to watch Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs in their home opener on Monday, September 14. (Cruise previously attended Swift’s Eras Tour in London and was present when she married Travis at Madison Square Garden in July.) “Being in the suite with him was great,” Jason added of the game day meetup. Swift has also bonded with her nieces over the Chiefs. Jason and Kylie, 33, brought their kids to a December 2025 game, which they watched  from a private box with the “Fate of Ophelia” singer. The family also finds time to connect outside of the gridiron. “Right now, we’re very deep in a sourdough obsession,” Swift said of her baking passions during an August 2025 episode of Travis’ podcast. “I’ve been workshopping [one] for the girls because they love everything rainbow: Funfetti sourdough. They love sprinkles. We put sprinkles in everything when we hang out.” Swift further bonded with Travis’ nieces — who were flower girls in the couple’s wedding this summer — over crafting and cats. “The cats are so good with kids,” she gushed on “New Heights” last year. “They’re just like, ‘Meredith is here!’ I’m like, ‘And you know what? She didn’t bite you at all, did she? And if she did bite you, she wouldn’t be poisonous.’ They’re like, ‘That’s not what our dad said.’” Jason famously told his kids that cats were poisonous in an attempt to stop their pleas for a pet feline. The backlash has been seen around social media over the last week, but now it has hit the follower count. Sydney Sweeney has lost over 200,000 Instagram followers after she was featured in a controversial sports-betting ad, appearing fully nude to promote the prediction market Novig, per Variety.The “Euphoria” actress shared the 60-second ad on Instagram last week where she poses with various sports equipment, like footballs, basketballs and a soccer ball, to cover parts of her body.By Wednesday morning, Sweeney’s ad post had 1.2 million likes and 2.8 million shares. The 200,000 dropoff lost represents less than one percent of her followers, according to Social Blade.Three days after the ad was released, Sweeney gained 50,000 followers on Instagram. Yet, she lost 136,848 by Sunday and another 68,000 Monday.The ad has received a lot of backlash from those objecting to the sexualization of women in sports and also to women’s connection to sports being reduced to their physical appearance.British sprinter Amy Hunt reacted to Sweeney’s post after finishing fourth in the 200m final at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest.“Sydney Sweeney, this is what women’s sport looks like!” Hunt said straight to the camera.Four-time Olympic gold medal Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus also commented on the ad. “I can’t describe how infuriated I feel when I watch this,” she wrote. “Not only is it a kick in the face to every woman who has dedicated her life to perfecting her craft, but every woman who enjoys sports for what it really is – teamwork, friendship, dedication, excellence, unity. Trump's Bold Move: Kennedy Center Renovation Hinges on His Name

President Donald Trump is supportive of the Kennedy Center’s renovations — if his name can be added to the landmark. “The Board of The Kennedy Center today agreed, almost unanimously, to close the Building for Safety reasons, and so that it can begin the process of Reconstruction,” Trump, 80, wrote via TruthSocial on Tuesday, September 15. “The closing will take place immediately, however, the Renovation and Reconstruction, which is a very large and complex job, cannot begin until such time as the D.C. Circuit rules on the Board’s approved name.” The commander in chief continued, “If the ruling is a negative one, which it should not be, and is not overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court, the Reconstruction and the Renovation of The Kennedy Center will not take place.” In his latest post, Trump claimed $17 million — that he allegedly raised — has already been put into The Kennedy Center account to keep it afloat. Earlier in the day, U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper explained that Congress would need to approve Trump’s name being added to the Washington, D.C., building first named after John F. Kennedy. “Simply put, Defendants cannot install memorials for President Trump or anyone or anything else at the Kennedy Center without Congress’ blessing,” Cooper said in the latest ruling on Tuesday via the Associated Press. Trump claimed the attorneys from the Department of Justice would be asking for an expedited appeal. The Kennedy Center board first voted in August to inscribe Trump’s name on the building’s facade so it would read “The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Restored and Renovated By President Donald J. Trump.” If the Trump Kennedy Center Fund reached $100 million, another inscription would be added reading: “Endowed by the Trump Kennedy Center Fund.” Several members of Kennedy’s extended family have spoken out against any name change, including Maria Shriver. “Adding your name to a memorial already named in honor of a great man doesn’t make you a great man. Quite the contrary,” Shriver, 70, wrote via X in December 2025. “Putting your name on top of someone else’s doesn’t mean that people will speak of you in the same breath as the other man. Putting your name above another man’s name on his existing memorial… What is that about? Truly? What’s that about?” Jack Schlossberg, JFK’s only grandson, was also outraged by Trump’s actions. “Trump can take the Kennedy Center for himself. He can change the name, shut the doors, and demolish the building,” Schlossberg, 33, wrote via X in February. “He can try to kill JFK. But JFK is kept alive by us now rising up to remove Donald Trump, bring him to justice, and restore the freedoms generations fought for.”

Finneas and other musical acts are showing their support for Macklemore — and the Palestinian people — by exiting Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour amid the controversial decision to drop the Seattle rapper from the show. “Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed,” Finneas, 29, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, September 15. “I have decided to withdraw from my upcoming tour dates with Ed Sheeran. I stand with Palestine and its people.” Lukas Graham also announced they would no longer be performing as a supporting act on the tour. “It’s hard to watch families in other parts of the world burying the people they love. We should be able to speak about war, about civilians being killed, about children who deserve to grow up. Wherever they live. Whatever flag flies over them,” the group wrote via Instagram on Tuesday. “I love Ed, and I’m grateful for everything we’ve shared. That hasn’t changed. But I can’t put these words out into the world and carry on with this tour as things stand. We’re withdrawing from the remaining dates. I’m sorry we won’t be there. This is a difficult decision, but it’s one I need to stand by.” Macklemore, 43, commented: “❤️����.” Sheeran’s Loop Tour made headlines earlier this month when Macklemore performed an opening set at the New Jersey stop on September 4 and 5. The “Thrift Shop” rapper chanted “Free Palestine” and performed his protest track “Hind’s Hall.” Days later, the concert promoter for the tour announced Macklemore would no longer be performing. “We have been notified by venues on the upcoming U.S. tour dates that they will not allow a concert to take place with Macklemore on the lineup, which would result in the cancellation of the tour and impact hundreds of thousands of fans,” Messina Touring Group said in a statement to Rolling Stone on Monday, September 14. “After discussions with stakeholders, Macklemore will not be performing on the remaining support dates.” On Tuesday, Sheeran, 35, spoke out about the turn of events and said it was not his decision to have Macklemore removed from his tour. “I have spent this week trying to build bridges, to find a solution and unfortunately, was unable to do so,” he said via Instagram. “I know who I am, both as a person and as an artist, and those who know my heart know my values too.” The artists choosing to exit Sheeran’s tour say it has nothing to do with the headliner. Instead, they simply want to stand with the Palestinian people, who continue to face Israel’s response to the deadly October 7 terrorist attacks, which has resulted in the estimated deaths of over 70,000 Palestinian civilians, including more than 20,000 children, per the Palestinian Health Ministry and the United Nations, at the time of publication. “I don’t take the decision lightly. Ed has been a friend to me and has changed my life,” Aaron Rowe wrote via Instagram. “I could never thank him enough for this. But as Irish people, we know all too well about genocide, forced famine and violent occupation.” In a separate Instagram post, Irish folk band Beoga confirmed their exit from the tour. “We are a traditional Irish band who never saw ourselves playing in stadiums of that size, and that opportunity is not lost on us,” they wrote. “We have been friends with Ed for over 10 years now and will continue to be. We believe in dialogue as a means of progressing the plight of the Palestinian people.”

A Florida woman allegedly seduced and drugged a man she met at a casino in an elaborate ruse to steal his nearly $100,000 Rolex — a crime authorities say she’s committed against several other victims.Lynda Mae Crouse, 32, is accused of preying on deep-pocketed bachelors she meets out, flirtatiously convincing them to take her home or to a hotel and then drugging them and taking off with their high-end watches before they come to, according to Broward County arrest records. The siren was arrested Friday for the April 12 timepiece theft of a man she met at the Carousel Club in Hallandale Beach around midnight. Lynda Mae Crouse, 32, is accused of drugging a man she just met at a casino to steal his nearly $100,000 Rolex, a crime authorities alleged she’s committed before.  BCSOThe pair exchanged contact info before departing the club and the man later sent an Uber to Crouse’s home to bring her back to his place, according to court documents. The two then began to drink. But as the man stepped away to change his clothes, he began to feel “funny” and “extremely tired,” a probable cause affidavit states. The incapacitated victim said the last thing he heard before passing out was a clapping sound coming from his living room and Crouse excusing herself to leave, according to the affidavit. After coming to hours later, the man ran to check on his watch, having suspected that the clapping sound was the woman opening the lid of his Rolex box, the affidavit states. His worst suspicions turned out to be true after he found that his 40 mm diamond-bedazzled Rolex Presidential – valued at $98,4000 – was gone, the document states. The victim later identified Crouse in a photo lineup, according to court documents. The timepiece theft happened after Crouse met a man at the Carousel Club in Hallandale Beach on April 12, with the man sending an Uber to bring her to his home not long after, according to court documents.  Google mapsThe apparent femme fatale has four other open cases in Dade County in which the victims shared a similar experience of taking Crouse home and waking up out of a fog to find their pricey wrist jewelry missing.In one case, a victim’s toxicology report revealed he had been drugged with zolpidem, a sleep aid known to cause rapid sedation, confusion and memory impairment especially when combined with alcohol, NBC Miami reported. Crouse was charged with grand theft and her bond was set at $2,000, which she paid, records show. No attorney information was available. She could not be reached for comment.

Fashion Police alum Melissa Rivers opened up to Us about her worst dressed celebrities of the evening, detailing what she really thought of Shailene Woodley and Rachel Sennott’s respective looks at the Monday, September 14, event. “They were both in Balenciaga, and someone over there clearly does not like them,” Rivers quipped to Us. “Because, by the way, Sarah Snook was also in Balenciaga and looked perfect.” (Snook, 38, wore an off-the-shoulder white dress with a column skirt.) The host of “Melissa Rivers' Group Text Podcast” explained that just because an outfit works on the runway, doesn't mean it translates “in real life.” “I see Shailene's look walking down the runway,” Rivers exclusively told Us of her ensemble, which featured a blue top complete with a plunging neckline, gold beaded wide-leg pants and burgundy cloves. It just didn't look good,” Rivers said. “It felt costumey rather than [like a] pretty gown.” Rivers described how sweltering it was on the red carpet during the Los Angeles heat wave, adding, “The sweaty men was the trend nobody wanted.” She also noticed that multiple stars at the event had beards that didn't match their hair. “All these men with dark hair and super gray beard. Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, added her voice to the mix after Sydney Sweeney’s recent naked sports betting ad campaign stirred major debate.  Kelly, 37, took to her Instagram Story on Monday, September 14, sharing a video from influencer Daniel Hong, in which he opined about the message that Sweeney’s racy Novig campaign — showing the Euphoria actress fully naked with various sports items covering her body — sends to his two young daughters.  “THIS THIS THIS THIS,” Kelly commented on the clip.  Kelly and Matthew, 38, share four daughters: twins Sawyer and Chandler, 9, Hunter, 8 and Tyler, 6. "Seeing this whole Sydney Sweeney controversy just confirms what I already knew I have to teach my daughters, sooner than later,” Hong said in the video.  Hong added, “My girls are going to grow up in a world where they're going to learn really quick that attention has value, especially for girls. Appearance can get you attention: likes, comments, followers, money, opportunities. All of that is very real. What I want them to understand is that attention and value are not the same thing.” The father of two said his goal is to tell his girls that their “appearance never has to be the main thing that gives them their self-worth.” “I don't think I'm going to teach my daughters that with one conversation when they're 16,” he argued. “Look what I'm up against. Two prominent business owners have been killed after their boat slammed into a peninsula at high speed before going airborne and crashing into a campsite.Charles Romer, 65, and Jennifer Luzzi, 59, both of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, were pronounced dead following the crash on Lake Havasu on Saturday night.Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Division of Boating Safety deputies responded to the area of Cattail Cove State Park at around 7:08 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a boating collision.Jennifer Luzzi is pictured. Facebook/One MotorsportsWhen deputies arrived, they found a 2019 36-foot Douglas Marine boat upside down on land on the Arizona side of the lake, just north of Cattail Cove State Park.The two occupants were found unresponsive near the wreckage.Deputies immediately began performing life-saving measures on the pair, while firefighters from San Bernardino County and Lake Havasu City also responded.Despite the emergency efforts, both Romer and Luzzi were pronounced dead at the scene.Authorities have not released additional details about what caused the boat to strike the peninsula or whether any other factors contributed to the crash.According to the initial press release, the watercraft was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the large peninsula, sending the vessel airborne. The boat then continued through the air before landing in a boat-in campsite north of the initial impact, authorities said. Romer was also the original owner of “Dial 911,” a Skater 388 built by Douglas Marine’s Skater Powerboats in 2010. The high-performance catamaran made its debut at the Desert Storm shootout, where Romer and TNT Custom Marine’s John Tomlinson recorded a 157-mph pass.His racing career extended beyond powerboats. Romer competed in sports car racing at the national level and won the Prototype 1 class at the 2022 SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Virginia International Raceway. The company, founded in 1982, serves Mohave, La Paz and Yuma counties and operates warehouses in Kingman and Lake Havasu City.Luzzi was similarly well known around Lake Havasu City, where she had worked in real estate for years. Agass said Romer “fitted more into his lifetime” than he could imagine fitting into five, adding that he would miss their phone calls, meetings at the racetrack and visits in Lake Havasu.“I’m really going to miss our catchup phone calls and meetups at the race track and of course our visits with him at Lake Havasu,” he added. President Trump announced Monday that Ukraine and Russia have agreed to stop attacks on each other’s energy infrastructure, one day after saying Kyiv was “hurting the world” with its strikes on Moscow’s diesel facilities.“Ukraine has agreed not to hit Russian Energy targets,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Russia has agreed to do, likewise! Oregon Father Sentenced After Stabbing Son With a Spear

A father in Oregon has learned his fate after he admitted to fatally stabbing his 9-year-old son with a spear after he initially claimed that his daughter “accidentally stabbed” the victim. The Coos County Sheriff's Office announced in a press release that Levi Higgins-Green pleaded guilty to several crimes on August 31, including one count of murder in the second degree, one count of strangulation — constituting domestic violence, two counts of criminal mischief and three various counts of assault. On Tuesday, September 8, Higgins-Green, 38, was sentenced to a combined minimum sentence of 30 years and eight months in prison. He will be eligible for parole after he serves the minimum sentence. Higgins-Green was sentenced one year after the incident took place at a home in Charleston, Oregon, in September 2025. Officers reported to the home, where Higgins-Green allegedly told them that the boy's sister "had accidentally stabbed him during play with a spear," according to the sheriff's office. However, officers later learned that the boy had been stabbed by his father. Paramedics performed lifesaving efforts on the boy before he was rushed to a Bay Area Hospital, where he later died. Authorities launched an investigation into the boy’s death, which resulted in a search warrant being executed at the home in October 2025. As detectives looked through the home, they obtained evidence that Higgins-Green had actually killed the son. Despite confirming the conclusion, officials have not revealed if Higgins-Green had a motive or what evidence they found that led to his arrest. Higgins-Green was initially charged with a lone count of second-degree murder before facing the additional charges. "Also uncovered during the investigation were instances of domestic violence involving the other adults and children who lived in the home which occurred over years," the Coos County Sheriff's Office said in the press release. "It should be noted that names have been omitted at the specific request of the surviving family." After the sheriff’s office shared the update in a Facebook post, several people took to the comments section to applaud Judge Martin Stone for giving Higgins-Green a harsh sentence. “Very good job on the part of the justice system in this case. He should not be able to get out of jail ever if you ask me life should be life,” one person wrote, while another added, “Judge Stone is a protector of women and children.”
