Chrishell Stause Opens Up About Emotional G Flip Split After Three Years New

Chrishell Stause Opens Up About Emotional G Flip Split After Three Years

Selling Sunset alum Chrishell Stause has announced her split from G Flip after three years of marriage. “I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys,” Stause, 45, said in an Instagram video on Monday, October 26. “G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other. That's not hard for me because I am in love with this person.” Stause added that she doesn’t “have all the information or the reasons” for their split yet. “I'm sure, just like always, with time, you get the lessons you're meant to get, and I know that will happen, and I'm gonna heal, and everything's gonna be fine,” she continued. “I'm definitely never doing this again, but I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that.” Stause added that she feels “like a little bit of a failure” after her second broken marriage. (The reality TV personality was previously married to Tracker star Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021.) “There's nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself, so I just have to kind of heal and figure this out,” she said. “It's hard. It's painful. I'm a lover girl. I swing big. I miss, or maybe I don't miss.” Despite their breakup, the reality star emphasized she had an “amazing over four years with G.” “So maybe that's not a miss, you know?” she continued. “I mean, it's just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined. So, with all that being said, I wanted to give you guys a life update. … I don't know what I hope for myself. I just — it's really hard and stressful to share this information because I'm kind of going through it.” Stause concluded with a message for her ex. “I will always love G, and I don't ever really see that changing,” she said. “And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us. So thank you.” Stause and G Flip, 33, met in October 2021 and began dating in March 2022. The pair tied the knot in Las Vegas in May 2023, followed by a vow renewal that July and subsequent ceremonies in July 2024 and July 2025. Prior to their split, Stause and G Flip were open about their desire to start a family and their IVF journey. “We are actively trying [to have kids],” Stause exclusively told Us in April 2025. She also gushed about her relationship with G Flip. “I think what makes it special is that we just really meet each other where we are, and it’s a really beautiful thing,” Stause told Us. “We celebrate every part of each other, whether it’s the parts a lot of people like or the weird, funny, silly, unique parts, us being nerds to each other. I just feel like it’s just really exciting anytime [G’s] in the room and vice versa, just because they’re my favorite human being.”

David Ellison’s Skydance is offering voluntary buyouts to employees as the media giant pushes ahead with plans to slash costs following its takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery, according to an internal email obtained by The Post. The media giant is also imposing a five-day return-to-office mandate across its operations, marking another major shakeup for workers as Ellison seeks to streamline the sprawling entertainment empire. The buyout offers are being extended to employees with at least 15 years of experience at the company, are at the vice-president rank or lower, are “at will” workers and meet certain geographic criteria, according to the memo. The last point means the offer applies to employees in the US, UK, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates and other international spots.David Ellison’s Skydance is offering voluntary buyouts to employees as the media giant pursues billions in annual cost savings. Most people seem to be leaning towards asking for a buyout. Folks are tired,” said CBS News source. In the Monday memo signed by Ellison and Skydance co-CEO Ynon Kreiz, the former Mattel chief who joined the company earlier this month, executives announced a new voluntary buyout program aimed at eligible employees who may not like the new office policy.“As we bring our teams together, we recognize that not everyone will see their future here, and we respect that,” the email stated.“To give eligible employees the option to move on in a way that works for them, we are introducing a Voluntary Buyout (VBO) Program.”Employees who qualify will receive individualized offers spelling out their terms and a window to decide whether to accept the one-time package. The memo did not specify how many workers would be eligible, how much they would receive or when the program would take effect.Skydance co-CEOs David Ellison and Ynon Kreiz announced voluntary employee buyouts and a five-day return-to-office mandate in an internal memo. Discovery on Oct. 6, bringing HBO, CNN and Warner Bros. under the same corporate roof as Paramount, CBS and Paramount+.Ellison has pledged to wring at least $6 billion in annual savings from the combination within three years, largely through technology consolidation and layoffs. The aggressive cost-cutting campaign comes as the newly enlarged company shoulders a massive debt burden of about $82.5 billion against $7.9 billion in cash as of June 30.Skydance aims to reduce its debt burden by the end of 2029 while generating more than $10 billion in annual cash flow by 2030 — money that could help pay down borrowings.Elon Musk recently invested roughly $1 billion in Skydance, according to a report last week by Semafor, deepening his business ties to the Ellison family.Skydance co-CEO Ynon Kreiz said in a joint memo with David Ellison that workers would receive advance notice before the five-day office mandate takes effect. Roughly 600 other workers accepted a voluntary severance option linked to an earlier return-to-office program.By February, management said it expected to achieve more than $2.5 billion in annualized efficiencies by the end of 2026.The latest companywide directive will require employees across Skydance to report to their offices five days a week, extending a policy already in place at Paramount.“We believe in-person collaboration is vital to our culture and to the success of our business,” the executives wrote.“Especially in a creative company like ours, the best ideas come from people in the same room, sharing perspectives, challenging one another and solving problems.”The memo acknowledged that the stricter policy could disrupt the routines of employees who have been working remotely or on hybrid schedules.Skydance is offering voluntary buyouts to eligible employees as it seeks at least $6 billion in annual cost savings following its Warner Bros. Tovah Feldshuh's Bold Response to Adam Brody's Palestine Support New

Tovah Feldshuh's Bold Response to Adam Brody's Palestine Support

Nobody Wants This star Tovah Feldshuh is weighing in after Adam Brody publicly showed support for Palestine amid the long-running Israel conflict. “To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild,” Feldshuh, 77, recently told The New York Post. “It’s right out of [Adolf] Hitler’s playbook. You take the victim and you make the victim the perpetrator.” Feldshuh, who plays Brody's mother on the Netflix series, was asked whether accusations of genocide are worse when they come from Jewish people themselves, to which she replied, “[It] makes a difference to the [Jewish] community.” The actress claimed the biggest damage comes from people with large platforms, but she didn't name Brody specifically. Brody, 46, recently made headlines when he gave his opinion on the ongoing conflict, telling GQ, “I have spoken a lot about it privately. I haven’t spoken much about it publicly. Put me down as thinking it’s a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.” He continued: “It’s awful that it’s taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it’s reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. I’m hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is.” Feldshuh, meanwhile, explained why she has been outspoken about her support for Israel. “I believe that the perseverance of the existence of the state of Israel is crucial to the well-being of the democratic world and of the free world,” she said. “Of course, Israel needs the United States, [but] the United States needs Israel, believe you me.” Feldshuh also noted that political disagreements haven't taken place on set as she has “to switch channels and do my job.” “My job, as Bina but also as Tovah, is to love the people on set at my place of work, to be kind,” she added. Feldshuh isn't the only person from the Nobody Wants This world to address Brody's recent interview. Cocreator Erin Foster also spoke out on the "complicated" situation in a clip from her upcoming “Not Skinny But Not Fat” episode. “I think our work environment, our set is very similar to dinner tables around the world where people are having debate and discussion and disagreeing," Foster, 44, said on the podcast. “While I love Adam, I also disagree with him. And that’s OK.” The executive producer, who converted to Judaism before marrying music executive Simon Tikhman, reflected on using her outlook to bring Nobody Wants This to life. The show, which just returned for its third season, follows the love story between agnostic Joanne (Kristen Bell) and rabbi Noah (Brody). “I think that as the creator of the show, all I can say is that I want our Jewish fans to know that I see you and I hear you and I understand how you feel. And the show has always been and always will be a love letter to Judaism,” Foster explained. “That is why I made this show. It’s because of how beautiful of an experience I’ve had becoming Jewish and being a Jewish person, and sitting here right now at this time in the world where there is almost zero positive representation of Jewish people, I think it’s so important to have that.” She concluded: “That being said, everyone is entitled to a different opinion than me. I can just tell you what I created this show for, what the intention of the show is.”

Sharon Osbourne's Heartfelt Last Moments with Ozzy: A Kiss to Remember New

Sharon Osbourne's Heartfelt Last Moments with Ozzy: A Kiss to Remember

Sharon Osbourne is opening up about her final moments with her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne. The rock legend died at age 76 in July 2025 at the family’s home in Buckinghamshire, England, while Sharon, 74, was still asleep, she recalled to the BBC in an interview published on Monday, October 26. “We'd spoken in the night. Ozzy had woken in the night and he asked me to kiss him twice, and I did,” Sharon said of her last moments with Ozzy the night before he died. “And then he said, 'Hold me, hold me tight,' and I did.” “And then the next thing I know, it's early in the morning, and someone comes rushing into the room saying, 'Come down now.’ I ran down, and that was it,” she said. The former Talk cohost told the BBC that she visits Ozzy’s grave every day and is still consumed by grief over a year after his death. “You've lost the love of your life, so you don't just wake up and go, 'I'm fine now. I'm cured,’” she said. “You never get over it. But you learn to live with it, and that's what I'm trying to do. So you either sit in a room and don't come out, or you accept it, befriend it, and that's it.” Ozzy is buried in the family’s garden in Buckinghamshire, Sharon said. “There was no way I could put Ozzy in a public graveyard,” she explained. “I've seen what happens to other people in the public eye. There's no peace because people want to come and they want to pay their respects. That's an ongoing thing, and I wanted Ozzy to rest and just be.” Sharon and Ozzy wed in 1982 and share three children: daughters Aimee, 43, and Kelly, 41, and son Jack, 40. (Ozzy also had three children from his first marriage.) The Black Sabbath star’s cause of death was cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease, per a death certificate obtained by the U.K.’s Sun newspaper in August 2025. His death certificate listed his profession as “songwriter, performer and rock legend.” Just weeks before his death, Ozzy performed with Black Sabbath one final time in his home city of Birmingham. “He was just so, so happy,” Sharon told the BBC. “He was online, going through the reviews and saying, 'There's something terribly wrong,' and I'm like, 'Why?' He goes, ‘I didn't get slagged by anybody. Why are people being nice to me? And I'm like, ‘Because they like you.’” “He was just floating for those last 17 days. It was great. It was joyous,” she said of Ozzy’s final days after the concert on July 5, 2025.

Teacher's 'Gas Money' to Student Raises Disturbing Questions New

Teacher's 'Gas Money' to Student Raises Disturbing Questions

A teacher who was convicted of having sex with a 17-year-old student allegedly went as far as sending him “gas money” for one particularly disturbing reason while their illegal relationship was taking place. McKenna Kindred, who was married at the time, became the subject of a police investigation after authorities uncovered her sexual relationship with the Central Valley High School student in Washington state. Chilling reason 'gas money' was sent to student Teacher McKenna Kindred had a sexual relationship with a student. Credit: WHQ-TV The pair allegedly exchanged explicit messages, photographs, and videos before eventually having sex at Kindred's home while her husband was away on a hunting trip, but investigators also learned about a series of payments that had initially left the teenager's mother suspicious. The student's mother, Ashley Beckley, told police she remembered her son receiving “gas money through Venmo” from a teacher. Although Beckley described the payment as “kind of inappropriate”, she said she did not initially know which teacher had sent the money or why. It was only after investigators began examining Kindred's relationship with her son that the payment allegedly took on a more disturbing significance. The relationship had reportedly begun after the teenager discovered Kindred's Instagram account, before their interactions subsequently escalated into a sexually explicit context, and then they allegedly had sex at her home for around three-and-a-half hours while her husband was away hunting. Afterwards, the teenager sent her a message which read: “Mom glad I can satisfy you.” Kindred reportedly liked the message, before the student then asked whether she had used a sex toy while thinking about him. “I did,” she replied. “U should have video it and save it,” the teenager responded. Kindred allegedly replied: “Hm next time I need to relearn Snapchat haha.” The messages were later uncovered as concerns about the relationship began circulating at the school, and after several months of speculation, the rumors about the pair's relationship were reportedly spreading among students and staff. Friends of the teenager shared screenshots of the messages with another teacher, who then contacted Spokane Valley police, with investigators reportedly discovering messages suggesting the pair had engaged in sexual behavior on school property. One message allegedly read: “We almost got caught.” “I was sad when that student walked in when he did. I wanted you to hold me. I really like being touched by you,” another message read. A friend who had become suspicious of the relationship reportedly confronted the teenager, telling him: “Mrs. Kindred and you must be f**king because you are always in her room.” Mother revealed details about affair Kindred received a sentence of probation, fines, and sex offender registration. Credit: Facebook Beckley subsequently provided investigators with further evidence she had allegedly discovered, telling authorities that she had seen photographs Kindred had sent to her son showing her breasts, as well as an explicit video of the teenager that he had sent to Kindred. She also told investigators that she was aware of the messages concerning the sex toy. Kindred was arrested and pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual misconduct in March 2024, but avoided a prison sentence and was instead given two years of probation, fined $700 and ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years. Three months after pleading guilty, Kindred and her husband reportedly moved to Kuna, Idaho, with Kindred voluntarily surrendering her teaching license following an investigation by the Idaho Standards Commission. Derek Hough's Heartfelt Goodbye to Beloved Dog Romie Sparks Emotional Reactions New

Derek Hough's Heartfelt Goodbye to Beloved Dog Romie Sparks Emotional Reactions

Dancing With the Stars judge Derek Hough and his wife, Hayley Erbert, are mourning the death of their beloved dog. “Romie came into my life when I was just trying to figure life out, it was just me and him,” Hough, 41, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, October 25. “And for a long time, he was my constant. He saw me at my worst and at my best. He loved me through it all and somehow gave me purpose when I couldn’t find it myself. He watched me grow up, fall in love, become a husband.” Hough continued, “And when he started to get tired, I asked him to hold on so he could meet his little sister, and he kept his promise. He held on. Waking up without him feels unreal. I keep looking at that spot where he’d usually come around the bushes, waiting, hoping. It’s strange to know he won’t come around that bend again. But thank you, my boy, for choosing us, for carrying me, for giving me so much.” Hough wrote that “there’s an ache that feels unbearable,” but noted that “it’s also proof that love lived here fully.” “And you always will,” he concluded. “Goodbye for now my sweet sweet Romie Boy .” Alongside the message, Hough shared a video of Romie looking at the camera before walking across a garden and disappearing behind a bush. “14 years by my side. I miss you so much already,” he wrote over the clip. “My heart aches. Goodbye my son. My Romie boy. I will love you forever.” Erbert, 32, shared her own tribute to their dog alongside videos of Romie through the years. In one clip, Erbert and Hough’s 9-month-old daughter, Everley, crawled with their dog. “Romie boy. My buddy boy. ♥️,” Erbert wrote via Instagram on Sunday. “This ache is unlike anything. For 11 beautiful years, I had the privilege of loving you with my whole heart and being loved by you in return. You were the first dog I called mine after moving to Los Angeles, and I couldn’t have asked for a better companion over the years.” She continued, “My OG adventure buddy, my snuggler, the leader of our pack, and our sweet, gentle 65lb boy who thought he was a lap dog and loved with his entire being. You were there for it all and showed us what unconditional love truly means, and I hope you felt every ounce of our love for you in return, until the very end.” Erbert went on to thank Hough for “bringing Romie into [her] life.” “He was truly the best boy, the greatest protector of our family, the sweetest big brother to Luna and Everley, and he will be the best guardian angel,” she wrote. “Eleven years with you will never feel like enough, but what a gift it was to be loved by you. I will carry you with me and love you for the rest of my life. I miss you so much. Until we find each other again, my buddy boy. ♥️.”

Carlos PenaVega's Tense Backstage Clash with Mark Ballas' Mom Revealed New

Carlos PenaVega's Tense Backstage Clash with Mark Ballas' Mom Revealed

Carlos PenaVega had an admittedly heated reaction to wife Alexa PenaVega’s Dancing With the Stars elimination. “The best moment is, after I get eliminated, Carlos and Shirley Ballas, [who] is Mark [Ballas]’s mother, … get into a fight backstage,” Alexa, 38, recalled on the Thursday, October 22, episode of the couple’s “LexLos” podcast, acknowledging Shirley, 66, is a “legend” in the ballroom community. “She goes, ‘Are you happy? Semifinals?’ And Carlos was like, ‘No, I’m not happy, my wife just got eliminated!’” Carlos, 37, stressed that he is grateful the pair’s brief verbal altercation was not captured on film. “She was sweet, but it was actually bad timing,” Carlos admitted. “She wasn’t trying to be mean, it was just bad timing.” Shirley, the head judge on the U.K.’s Strictly Come Dancing, has not publicly addressed the accusations. Us reached out for comment. Carlos and Alexa competed against each other on DWTS season 21 in 2015 with respective pro partners Witney Carson and Mark, 40. The Spy Kids star and Mark finished in sixth place, while Carlos and Carson, 33, made it all the way to the finale but came up short behind winners Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin. Reflecting on her departure from the competition, Alexa claimed that Mark had an inkling their time in the ballroom would be cut short before it was officially announced. “[Mark] knew we were getting eliminated, however, that day Tamar [Braxton] gets deathly ill. We end up finding out it’s, like, deathly ill and she should have remained in the hospital,” Alexa alleged, claiming Mark was already aware they were booked on The View to discuss their elimination. “The producers, from what Tamar said, went to the hospital and were like, ‘You need to do it.’ … Mark was like, ‘I believe we would have still been in if Tamar had stayed at the hospital.” Braxton, 49, and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy ended up withdrawing from the show “the next day” because of the singer’s illness. “Mark was really hoping that was the moment of, ‘If she stays in the hospital, we won’t go home tonight and get one more week to show what we can do,’” Alexa recalled. “[Carlos and I, our two dance partnerships] would have still been in the bottom, but it’s just such a different story.” Alexa and Carlos were the first married celebrities to compete against each other on DWTS, during a time they claim had “a lot of drama behind the scenes.” “At the time, Witney and Mark were not getting along at all,” Alexa alleged on Thursday. “They refused to be in the same room together. It was really hard because we’re married and the whole point of doing the show was, ‘We’re gonna do this together as much as possible. The second we go in, boom, ‘Mark and Witney refuse to be in a room together.’” Mark and Carson have not publicly addressed the reported feud. Us reached out for comment.

Janice Dean Calls Out Megyn Kelly's 'Mean Girl' Attack on MS Community

See more of our coverage in your search results. Former Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean tried to stay mum on ex pal Megyn Kelly’s on-air slams, but when she attacked the MS community, she could no longer stay quiet, she tells Page Six.“I’m sick of her using her platform to put people down… She goes to the lowest denominator and constantly put women down,” Dean, who has battled multiple sclerosis for 23 years, told Page Six.Kelly mentioned Dean on her podcast when she mocked Christina Applegate for revealing she was misdiagnosed with the disease. “She’s crying now because I guess she no longer gets to be the face of this disease, and as she says, she’s back to ‘square one.’ She’s made like a cottage industry of talking about her MS,” Kelly said of Applegate on her SiriusXM show.Janice Dean, pictured above, spoke out against Megyn Kelly after she slammed Christina Applegate’s MS misdiagnosis. Getty ImagesDean called Megyn Kelly, seen above on her SiriusXM show, heartless for her comments about Christina Applegate. Getty ImagesKelly’s commentary caused Dean to take to X and blast her as a “mean girl.” “She used to be one of my closest friends… Her comments about [Applegate] are disgusting,” she wrote. She further told us what Kelly said was “so heartless for a woman misdiagnosed and doesn’t know where to turn.”“[MS] is a very misunderstood disease. We have no cure. It saps you of everything when you’re not feeling well. It took my job away from me,” Dean tearfully said.Dean branded Kelly a “mean girl” in a post she wrote on X. x/JaniceDeanChristina Applegate, posing at the SAG Awards in 2023, revealed the shocking news that she was misdiagnosed with MS. Getty ImagesDean, reporting the news on Fox in 2024, had to leave her job at Fox News due to her multiple sclerosis battle. Getty ImagesDean added she’s grateful for celebs like Applegate, who speak out about their battle with the disease and other illnesses. “I want to say more in defense of the people, who put their reputations on the line, and their body of work to say, ‘I’m vulnerable and I’m sick’… It’s the loneliest place you can be – to hear [Applegate] cry and have Megyn Kelly use that against her is disgusting,” she said.Kelly hasn’t responded to Dean or commented on the backlash she’s received from speaking out about Applegate and her misdiagnosis. Her former Fox News pal, Eric Bolling, however slammed Dean’s post on X as “f–king disgraceful.”“Janice, I worked with both of you at Fox. I saw firsthand how Megyn backed you and helped elevate your career. Watching you publicly trash her and now slap ‘#meangirl’ on it is f–king disgraceful… You should be ashamed of this,” Bolling wrote. Megyn Kelly’s former Fox News colleague and pal, Eric Bolling, seen above, came to her defense. Getty ImagesDean believes Kelly, pictured above, spews vitriol because she doesn’t have any friends. Getty Images for Semafor“Why was he fired from Fox?” Dean asked rhetorically. “I’ve heard stories about this guy for many years. Bolling being the guy to come to her rescue is not the superhero you want,” she told us. (Bolling parted ways with Fox News in 2017 following a probe into whether he sent inappropriate text messages to colleagues, which he denied).Meanwhile, she has a theory about why Kelly spews vitriol in her independent hosting era. “She doesn’t have any close friends. She’s secluded herself to live in Connecticut, and doesn’t get out into the world. It’s very isolating and she doesn’t have someone pulling her in to check her,” Dean said.Dean, who has been in and out of the hospital in recent weeks, said she’ll comment more when she’s well enough. “I don’t want to go down the road she’s gone down. I don’t want to fight in the gutter, but I do want to raise awareness,” she said.Kelly did not comment. And thinking of those still hoping for this chapter of their own.” Naomie’s former Southern Charm costars congratulated the couple in the comments section. “You’re going to be the best mom ,” Landon Clements replied, with Molly O’Connell adding, “OMG !!! Congrats ! ❤️❤️.” Us exclusively confirmed in April 2025 that Naomie and Billy, 39, had started dating. The couple got engaged the following December, tying the knot in Provence, France, in July of this year. “The ceremony ,” Naomie captioned wedding photos via Instagram earlier this month. “Honoring my dad by surprising Billy with his resized wedding ring, exchanging vows officiated by my sweet father-in-law, and surrounded by those we love most. A moment we will cherish forever!!” Naomie and Billy have largely kept their romance under wraps, though their inner circle have been vocal in their approval. “I have heard more good things about this guy than anyone,” Naomie’s ex Craig Conover said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in December 2025. “I was recently out with friends in Los Angeles, and they used to be friends with him and Brooks, and they were like, ‘Oh we miss him. He’s great.’” He continued at the time, “So apparently she’s in really good hands.” Naomie and Craig, 38, dated for three years before they called it quits in 2017. The L’Abeye founder moved on with Metul Shah, even moving with him to New York City as he began his medical residency. They broke up in 2021 over accusations that Metul was unfaithful, with Naomie subsequently relocating back to Charleston. Billy, for his part, was previously married to model Brooks Nader from 2019 to 2024. Brooks, 29, has since claimed that the now-exes signed non-disclosure agreements barring them from speaking about one another. “I can [talk] about my experiences. That’s in the fine print,” Brooks alleged on “The Viall Files” podcast in August 2025. “We both did [sign one]. It was a mutually exclusive [NDA] … I think that I was a different person when I was married to him. [He] was the first guy I ever dated and met in New York. I was 19 years old … and then I stayed with him till 27, and I’m 28 now. I feel like it did shape me, and it was a really, really hard decision to get a divorce just because you don’t love somebody. That’s why I did it.”

Why Central Park's Latest Incident Has Locals on Edge

See more of our coverage in your search results. Saturday’s horrific knifepoint rape in Central Park was the fifth sex attack in the iconic green space so far this year, leaving locals terrified.A woman was approached by an armed thug around 8:30 p.m. near East 67th Street and Fifth Avenue, dragged into a wooded area in the famous Manhattan park and sexually assaulted before her attacker fled, authorities said.It does not appear the victim knew her attacker, law-enforcement sources told The Post on Sunday, citing the preliminary investigation. Police probe the scene of a rape in Central Park at East 67th Street and Fifth Avenue in Manhattan on Oct. 24, 2026. Robert Mecea for NY Post“I typically avoid coming to Central Park at night,” admitted Jetmir Shala, a 37-year-old resident manager who lives nearby, to The Post.“I mean, look, I’m 6-6, 240 [pounds], you know? I can defend myself. But the thing is, if it’s my wife, I tell her to stay away.“Where I’m at, Lenox Hill, it’s typically safe,” he said of the neighborhood near the scene. “But Central Park, we always hear about these stories that’s going on, so it kind of just makes you second-guess if you wanna go in or not.”NYPD crime statistics show that the latest attack was the fifth since the start of the year inside the department’s Central Park Precinct — up from three rapes in the same region by this time last year.Detectives comb the area for potential clues. Robert Miller for NY PostCitywide rape reports have meanwhile increased nearly 3%, with 1,693 through Oct. 18 this year compared to 1,650 over the same span in 2025.Rapes and subway and hate crimes have bucked the citywide trend that has seen most major crimes dropping, including historic lows in assaults and murders.Police brass attribute the bump in rape reports to changes in state law that expanded the legal definition of what constitutes rape — but it’s a distinction that does little to appease New Yorkers near the park. Local Jetmir Shala, 37, says he tells his wife to stay away from the park. Robert Miller for NY PostShirley Kessel says she’s always been told to at least avoid the park at night. Robert Miller for NY PostLocals around Central Park said vagrants tend to take over benches in some sections of the city oasis, while blind spots along several paths make it a risky proposition to venture on them, particularly at night.“I’ve been coming to New York for most of my life, and I just have been told over the years to never go in the park at dark,” said retired executive Shirley Kessel, 65. “That’s how I grew up thinking. “There’s certain streets you don’t walk down in New York City at night, and you don’t go in the park.”Anna Brockway says she tries to avoid the park. Robert Miller for NY PostMarketing executive Anna Brockway, 55, who lives part-time across the street from the park, said she sees “a lot of guys who kind of crash out there, drinking, sleeping.“At night, when I walk my dog, I go around the corner,” she said. “I try not to walk next to the park.”A 42-year-old Manhattanite who asked to remain anonymous said it’s not just about the park.“The whole city, I’m just getting a weird vibe from the last couple of years,” he said. “I don’t know. Nobody gives a f–k anymore.”Gov. Kathy Hochul told The Post at an related get-out-the-vote rally in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, on Sunday, “All crimes are tragedies, and we are working hard with the NYPD to drive down every incident like this.“It’s not acceptable. It’s not acceptable. People should feel safe when they go to our parks.”-Additional reporting by Steven Vago
