Ex-NJ Cop's Shocking Abuse Allegations Rock Firefighter Community
A sex-crazed former New Jersey cop who moonlighted as a volunteer fire chief allegedly assaulted a whopping 11 firefighters — including one whom he used a mechanical device to “hog-tie.”
Robert Sinnott Jr., 53, was indicted by a state grand jury on a slew of new charges Thursday, including fresh counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, second-degree official misconduct, and second-degree pattern of official misconduct, the New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport announced.
The retired Island Heights police officer and former chief of the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company in Toms River allegedly “created situations where he would be alone” with his 11 victims at various locations, including the firehouse and his home, according to the state’s top cop.
