Pete Davidson's Candid Reflections on Dating Kim Kardashian New

Pete Davidson's Candid Reflections on Dating Kim Kardashian

Article • Oct 01, 2026 • 1 min read Pete Davidson is looking back fondly on his past romance with Kim Kardashian. “I’m one of the survivors — the few and the proud. We’re like the Marines,” Davidson, 32, joked to Variety in an interview published on Wednesday, September 30, about the men who’ve dated Kardashians. “Look, man, that’s a really tough atmosphere if you’re not game. One of the things I love about Kim and that whole family is they’re like, ‘This is what we do.’ I found that very attractive and mature.” Davidson met the Kardashians star in October 2021 while working together on Saturday Night Live. After sharing a kiss as Aladdin and Jasmine in a sketch, the pair began dating before breaking things off in August 2022.“I was never subjected to anything I didn’t want to be a part of. She was super respectful of all of it, but the craze of that lifestyle — being followed everywhere, having security and looking over your shoulder — for a guy with mental stuff and at the time drug problems was a little too much for me,” Davidson shared in his candid interview. “But we’re cool, and I have a lot of love for her, and I knew what I was getting into.” Davidson found himself dating Kardashian, 45, as she was going through a challenging divorce from rapper Kanye West. (The pair share children North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7.) West infamously reacted to his then-estranged wife dating Davidson by posting threats on Instagram and depicting a Claymation Davidson getting kidnapped and beheaded in the music video for his song “Eazy.”In his latest interview, Davidson acknowledged that the chatter had an impact on him. “What tripped me out is I was super open about mental stuff — everyone knows this about me — and it’s like he was [saying], ‘Kill yourself.’ And he did push me,” he told the outlet. To this day, Davidson has empathy for West, 49, and pointed out that the Grammy-winning rapper also lost a parent “and has mental stuff.” (The comedian's firefighter dad, Scott, was killed in the September 11 attacks in 2001 while West's mom, Donda, died after undergoing plastic surgery in 2007.)

Christa Pike's Shocking Survival After Two Failed Lethal Injections New

Christa Pike's Shocking Survival After Two Failed Lethal Injections

Death row inmate Christa Pike survived a failed execution attempt after being administered two lethal injections, her lawyer said. Pike, 50, was transported to a Tennessee hospital after the attempted execution on Wednesday, September 30. In an emergency motion to halt the execution on Wednesday, her legal team said, “Ms. Pike has lost consciousness and still has a heartbeat and is audibly snoring.” An attorney for the convicted murderer told the BBC that she was “being provided life-saving measures” at a Tennessee hospital after being injected with two syringes of pentobarbital. The Tennessee Department of Correction told NBC News that Pike was “transported to an off-site medical facility” following Wednesday’s execution attempt at Riverbend Maximum Security Prison in Nashville. “The Tennessee Department of Correction followed every step of the state's lawful, established execution protocol approved by the Attorney General’s Office,” a TDOC spokesperson told The Tennessean newspaper. “The lethal injection chemical in the protocol has consistently been effective, and the protocol does not allow for additional procedures beyond what was carried out this evening.” Pike is the sole woman on death row in Tennessee and was expected to be the first woman executed in the state in more than 200 years, per historical records. In 1996, Pike was convicted of the murder of classmate Colleen Slemmer. Slemmer’s mother, May Martinez, who attended the attempted execution, told NBC News, “It was a mess.” Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee said in a statement, “Carrying out a lawfully imposed sentence is among the state's most serious responsibilities, and the people of Tennessee expect it to be done in a manner that is not only legal and constitutional but is effective. I have ordered a comprehensive, third-party review to determine exactly what occurred.” “Tonight the State of Tennessee once again failed to carry out a lawful execution,” Pike’s legal team told The Tennessean. “We take no pleasure in being right, but the concerns raised by Ms. Pike proved to be true: difficult vein access, blown veins, degraded pentobarbital, no emergency medical care available when things inevitably go wrong, all under a protocol that remains veiled in secrecy.” Earlier on Wednesday, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit stayed Pike’s execution just an hour before it was due to take place at 10 a.m. local time. However, the U.S. Supreme Court later overruled that decision, allowing the execution to go ahead.

Media witnesses to the botched execution of Christa Pike described how the satanist killer lifted her head and asked if the pain was normal after a second round of the lethal drug cocktail was administered.Pike, who would have been the first woman executed in Tennessee in more than 200 years, somehow survived the double dose of the highly potent sedative, Pentobarbital, Wednesday – with reporters describing how the failed execution played out unlike anything they had ever seen.“They went through two rounds, and she was still breathing at the end, it was very ragged, she lifted her head up and was looking around at one point. She said there was a spot that was burning and hurting and asked if that was normal,” Catherine Sweeney of WPLN said at a press briefing after the execution was put on hold.Christa Pike survived the double dose of Pentobarbital during her botched execution. They did two separate rounds of pentobarbital – which I’ve never seen before – the protocol does say that they should do a second round if the person is still alive,” Sweeney recounted. “I covered all of the executions last year and most of the ones this year, we haven’t seen anything like it.”Tennessee’s execution protocol calls for a second set of syringes to be administered “if the inmate is not deceased” after the first injection. However, it does not specify what happens if the subject is alive after the second set.Critics of the death penalty condemned the Tennessee Department of Corrections’ use of lethal injections.“The state of Tennessee has shown the world it cannot be trusted to implement capital punishment in a way that preserves human dignity and the rule of law. This has to stop now,” Laura Porter, executive director of the US Campaign to End the Death Penalty, said in a statement to USA Today. Other witnesses on site at the Nashville prison to watch the historic execution take place recalled Pike complaining about “throbbing” in her arm.“They went through two rounds and she was still breathing at the end, it was very ragged,” Catherine Sweeney of WPLN recounted at a press briefing after the failed execution.“I covered all of the executions last year and most of the ones this year, we haven’t seen anything like it,” Sweeney continued. Chad Lowe's Heartfelt Words on Fatherhood Resurface After Tragic Loss

Chad Lowe gushed about being a girl dad two years before the tragic death of his 13-year-old daughter, Fiona. “I’m a girl dad. It’s so interesting because [I’m] always wanting to have my own experiences and not live in the shadow or follow in the footsteps of somebody,” Lowe, 58, said during a 2024 appearance on the “Still Here” podcast. “I get the experience of being a girl dad,” the Pretty Little Liars alum continued. “I feel like having daughters is such an incredible privilege.” Lowe, who shares Fiona and daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10, with wife Kim Painter, added that although there are “struggles” associated with raising three girls, the experience has continued to teach him ways to see the world differently. “I look at the world from really their perspective, and I see the world and a lot of the injustices in the world from their perspective,” he explained. “It’s not all doom and gloom. Society is changing. I see how we’re really becoming conscious of the role of women. We may, who knows, have the first female president.” Chad, the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, concluded, “[We’re] really empowering women and seeing how much women have to offer. I personally think that if women were in charge of nations, we’d be a lot more peaceful.” Chad and Painter, 52, announced Fiona’s death in a statement to People, TMZ and other media outlets on Tuesday, September 29. “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the statement read, calling their late middle child “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.” The family continued, “She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.” Nearly one year before Fiona’s death, Chad took to Instagram to celebrate her milestone 13th birthday. “Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” he captioned his post at the time. Chad and his family previously experienced tragedy in January 2025 when they lost their home in the Los Angeles wildfires. “This is what remains of 10 years of building our lives. Our hearts are broken, but we are comforted by all the well wishes and offers of assistance,” the actor wrote via Instagram at the time alongside a photo of the rubble. “We are OK and will be OK. We have each other. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.” If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org.

Cornell Fraternity Scandal: Shocking Transcript Reveals New Details New

Cornell Fraternity Scandal: Shocking Transcript Reveals New Details

See more of our coverage in your search results. The Cornell University student who accused seven fraternity brothers of sexually assaulting her told police: “I can say with 100% confidence I was raped,” according to a newly revealed transcript. The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, was interviewed by campus police over two days in November 2024, describing how a night of partying devolved into her becoming “completely and totally incapacitated” and then gang raped, according to the transcript obtained by CBS News.Doe was joined by a Title IX investigator, a victim advocate and partly by her adviser during the Nov. 14-15, 2024 interview, where she admitted the night of drinking, drugs and sex at the Chi Phi fraternity house began consensually.“Yeah, as much as I can be because, again, I was super drunk when I got there,” she said. “But I was pretty OK with all of this.”But as she was offered more drugs and alcohol, a threesome she began having consensually turned into a revolving door of frat bros allegedly coming and going from the room to take turns having sex with her, the report said.“And then, of course, I was being hit at the same time,” Doe told police, according to the transcript. “Physically hit very, very hard.”Doe described pushing one groping hand away from her at one point, and at other moments telling fraternity brothers she was uncomfortable or too tired to keep having sex.The Chi Phi Fraternity House is seen on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY, on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026. Lone Pine Press for NY Post“Was it ‘no’ or was it, ‘eh, I’m tired’?” police asked, explaining that their questions were not accusations but important clarifications for case-building.“I think it’s, ‘I’m tired,'” Doe replied.Police then asked whether she finally became so exhausted from fending off the brothers that she allowed them to have sex with her, to which she responded, “Yes. It was coercion.”She also told cops she didn’t remember the night “where I was raped” — and that she didn’t know how many people had sex with her while she was in that state, according to the report.“I can say with 100% confidence I was raped,” she said, adding “I’m very confident about this” as the interview ended. The transcript raises new questions about what authorities knew at the time about the case, with a separate six-page written statement Doe signed to Cornell University Police obtained by ABC News showing she said the night “felt like coercion,” but not clearly stating she believed she’d been raped. It also appears to contradict Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten, who on Monday justified his decision not to bring criminal charges at the time by claiming Doe never explicitly accused the seven men of any crimes.Van Houten said that decision was made based on the sworn statement, but claimed he never received the transcript, adding that he’d since requested it as his office has reopened an investigation into the Oct. 19-20, 2024, alleged attack.“If she had said those words, we certainly would want to have explored that more,” he told CBS. “Like I said, that wasn’t provided to me.”Cornell University Police told The Post “all investigatory information” from Doe’s case had been shared with the DA’s office in 2024, but didn’t specify if that included the transcript. The Chi Phi group chat included in Doe’s damning lawsuit. Obtained by NY PostCornell has been the center of a growing scandal over alarming rape allegations at the campus Chi Phi fraternity. Lone Pine Press for NY PostThe shocking two-year-old case was dragged into the light after Doe filed a sprawling lawsuit on September 18 claiming the brothers plied her with alcohol and ketamine at their fraternity after what started as a consensual hook-up with one of their ranks. That soon devolved into a threesome with another brother, and before long others were coming and going from the room to have sex with her and snort ketamine off her body. One of them even allegedly sent a message in a fraternity Snapchat group chat declaring there was “free p–sy” in one of the rooms, while brothers leered responses like “shop still open” and “you can walk in and whip it out.”After reporting the alleged assault about three weeks late, Doe claimed Cornell let her alleged attackers “mitigate their conduct by submitting essays.” Several were later confirmed to have been suspended, while two were expelled.A Cornell spokesperson called her “irresponsible” for suggesting the brothers only punishment was writing an essay, insisting the Ivy League school takes sexual assault claims seriously.

Why Wladimir Klitschko's Guardianship Request for Hayden Panettiere's Daughter Is Sparking Attention New

Why Wladimir Klitschko's Guardianship Request for Hayden Panettiere's Daughter Is Sparking Attention

Hayden Panettiere’s family is supporting her former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko’s petition for guardianship over their 11-year-old daughter Kaya’s estate. The late actress’ family doesn’t plan to challenge Kaya’s inheritance after the actress’ former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko recently filed for guardianship, Us can confirm. (TMZ was first to report the news.) Klitschko, 50, submitted paperwork earlier this month, requesting to be the temporary guardian of his daughter’s estate. When Panettiere died in August, Kaya was the sole inheritor of the Nashville alum’s assets. As Kaya is a minor, the court could appoint a guardian while the case is in probate. “It is urgent and essential that Wladimir be immediately appointed temporary guardian of Kaya’s estate, to afford Wladimir the necessary standing to file Hayden’s probate petition, and the power to nominate a proposed administrator of Hayden’s estate,” the former boxer wrote in his petition, per court documents obtained by Us. “Without an immediate appointment for these purposes, there is a high probability that property belonging to Hayden’s estate may be lost, damaged or dissipated before a duly appointed personal representative can be in place to protect it. This directly and adversely affects Kaya, as she is the sole heir entitled to the entirety of Hayden’s probate estate.” Panettiere and Klitschko were together on and off from 2009 to 2018, welcoming Kaya in 2014. The Heroes actress ultimately relinquished custody of Kaya to Klitschko following their 2018 breakup, occasionally visiting her daughter overseas. (Klitschko and his daughter primarily live in Ukraine.) Us confirmed in August that Panettiere died at age 36 from the “toxic effects” of fentanyl and other drugs, per an autopsy report. A coroner also determined her death as an accident. (In addition to Kaya, Hayden is survived by her parents, Skip Panettiere and Lesley Vogel.) Following Panettiere’s death, Klitschko pledged to honor her legacy for Kaya’s benefit. “Our family is going through a time of profound shock and grief. The announcement of Hayden’s tragic death saddens me deeply,” he wrote in a statement shared via social media last month. “She left this world far too soon. Hayden was, although no longer my partner, an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya. She built an incredible career through immense talent, while also facing the darker sides of a very demanding industry.” He continued at the time, “Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives. To our daughter Kaya, I will always speak of her mother with respect and make sure she remembers the person she was. I extend my deepest condolences to Hayden’s parents, her friends, and her fans, who are also grieving today. Young and talented people like Hayden should not leave this world so soon.” If you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse, contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).

FlyDubai Flight Panic: Co-Pilot's Terrifying Attempt to Hijack Mid-Air

A passenger shared terrifying footage of the moment a FlyDubai plane plunged thousands of feet after the co-pilot "tried to do 9-11". The FlyDubai Boeing 737 Max 8 plane was flying from the United Arab Emirates to Tel Aviv, Israel, on Wednesday (September 30) when it suddenly lost altitude and made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. A video shared on X appears to show panicked passengers moving through the shaking cabin as the aircraft dives, while people speaking Hebrew can be heard crying and screaming. FlyDubai flight FZ1073 was traveling from Dubai International Airport to Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. Credit: SOPA Images / Getty According to The New York Post , FlightAware data reported that the plane, which is the low-cost sister carrier of Emirates Airlines, dropped from approximately 34,000 feet to around 15,400 feet in just 12 minutes. Israeli officials have alleged that one of the pilots stabbed the other several times before trying to seize control of the plane. "One pilot stabbed the other and tried to do 9/11," an official told Channel 12. Passengers described screams before the plane began to dive Passenger Dalia Shpigel told Israeli newspaper Haaretz that the aircraft lost control and began to "dive" about an hour before it was due to land, BBC News cited. She told the outlet that "suddenly there were terrible screams throughout the plane" before "three to five guys burst into the cockpit" and subdued the attacker and began treating the injured pilot. "We realized that the situation was stabilising and continued the flight. Gradually, information began to emerge about what had happened in the cockpit," Shpigel said. She said the "young men" then took charge and began tending to passengers as the plane altered its course to land in Saudi Arabia. "Right now, we're all here in the terminal, and medical teams are examining us," she added. Other videos show the passengers and crew members covered in blood. "We’re here during the hijacking of an airplane. At this point, we’ve subdued the terrorists," one passenger said while blood ran down his head. "We were either going to crash or be murdered," another told I24 News . "It was like a terrorist attack in mid-air." Passengers rushed to the cockpit One traveller, identified as Meital, said a crew member "tried to crash the plane" before cabin crew and people onboard intervened. "Someone shouted ‘stabbing’ and my husband understood what was happening and rushed to the front of the plane," she said. "Along with other Israelis they neutralized the terrorist." She said there was a "lot of blood". A clip has since surfaced showing one passenger with a head wound and another whose white T-shirt was covered in blood. The plane made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, a civilian and military base in the kingdom. The aircraft's rudder was damaged during the rapid descent. Arik Zer, a former Shin Bet head of flight security, said the damage could not have been caused by an external object. A spokesperson for FlyDubai issued a statement about the incident, saying: "Our teams are working closely with the relevant authorities. Further updates will be issued as additional confirmed details become available,” the spokesperson said. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the situation is under control, with officials working to arrange alternative flights for the passengers. Netanyahu also revealed that "the pilot who carried out the stabbing was arrested and is currently being questioned by the Saudi authorities". Featured image credit: SOPA Images / Getty
