Hayden Panettiere’s family is supporting her former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko’s petition for guardianship over their 11-year-old daughter Kaya’s estate. The late actress’ family doesn’t plan to challenge Kaya’s inheritance after the actress’ former fiancé Wladimir Klitschko recently filed for guardianship, Us can confirm. (TMZ was first to report the news.) Klitschko, 50, submitted paperwork earlier this month, requesting to be the temporary guardian of his daughter’s estate. When Panettiere died in August, Kaya was the sole inheritor of the Nashville alum’s assets. As Kaya is a minor, the court could appoint a guardian while the case is in probate. “It is urgent and essential that Wladimir be immediately appointed temporary guardian of Kaya’s estate, to afford Wladimir the necessary standing to file Hayden’s probate petition, and the power to nominate a proposed administrator of Hayden’s estate,” the former boxer wrote in his petition, per court documents obtained by Us. “Without an immediate appointment for these purposes, there is a high probability that property belonging to Hayden’s estate may be lost, damaged or dissipated before a duly appointed personal representative can be in place to protect it. This directly and adversely affects Kaya, as she is the sole heir entitled to the entirety of Hayden’s probate estate.” Panettiere and Klitschko were together on and off from 2009 to 2018, welcoming Kaya in 2014. The Heroes actress ultimately relinquished custody of Kaya to Klitschko following their 2018 breakup, occasionally visiting her daughter overseas. (Klitschko and his daughter primarily live in Ukraine.) Us confirmed in August that Panettiere died at age 36 from the “toxic effects” of fentanyl and other drugs, per an autopsy report. A coroner also determined her death as an accident. (In addition to Kaya, Hayden is survived by her parents, Skip Panettiere and Lesley Vogel.) Following Panettiere’s death, Klitschko pledged to honor her legacy for Kaya’s benefit. “Our family is going through a time of profound shock and grief. The announcement of Hayden’s tragic death saddens me deeply,” he wrote in a statement shared via social media last month. “She left this world far too soon. Hayden was, although no longer my partner, an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya. She built an incredible career through immense talent, while also facing the darker sides of a very demanding industry.” He continued at the time, “Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives. To our daughter Kaya, I will always speak of her mother with respect and make sure she remembers the person she was. I extend my deepest condolences to Hayden’s parents, her friends, and her fans, who are also grieving today. A passenger shared terrifying footage of the moment a FlyDubai plane plunged thousands of feet after the co-pilot "tried to do 9-11". The FlyDubai Boeing 737 Max 8 plane was flying from the United Arab Emirates to Tel Aviv, Israel, on Wednesday (September 30) when it suddenly lost altitude and made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. A video shared on X appears to show panicked passengers moving through the shaking cabin as the aircraft dives, while people speaking Hebrew can be heard crying and screaming. Credit: SOPA Images / Getty According to The New York Post , FlightAware data reported that the plane, which is the low-cost sister carrier of Emirates Airlines, dropped from approximately 34,000 feet to around 15,400 feet in just 12 minutes. Israeli officials have alleged that one of the pilots stabbed the other several times before trying to seize control of the plane. "One pilot stabbed the other and tried to do 9/11," an official told Channel 12. Passengers described screams before the plane began to dive Passenger Dalia Shpigel told Israeli newspaper Haaretz that the aircraft lost control and began to "dive" about an hour before it was due to land, BBC News cited. She told the outlet that "suddenly there were terrible screams throughout the plane" before "three to five guys burst into the cockpit" and subdued the attacker and began treating the injured pilot. "We realized that the situation was stabilising and continued the flight. Gradually, information began to emerge about what had happened in the cockpit," Shpigel said. She said the "young men" then took charge and began tending to passengers as the plane altered its course to land in Saudi Arabia. "Right now, we're all here in the terminal, and medical teams are examining us," she added. Other videos show the passengers and crew members covered in blood. "We’re here during the hijacking of an airplane. At this point, we’ve subdued the terrorists," one passenger said while blood ran down his head. "We were either going to crash or be murdered," another told I24 News . "It was like a terrorist attack in mid-air." Passengers rushed to the cockpit One traveller, identified as Meital, said a crew member "tried to crash the plane" before cabin crew and people onboard intervened. "Someone shouted ‘stabbing’ and my husband understood what was happening and rushed to the front of the plane," she said. "Along with other Israelis they neutralized the terrorist." She said there was a "lot of blood". A clip has since surfaced showing one passenger with a head wound and another whose white T-shirt was covered in blood. The plane made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, a civilian and military base in the kingdom. The aircraft's rudder was damaged during the rapid descent. Arik Zer, a former Shin Bet head of flight security, said the damage could not have been caused by an external object. A spokesperson for FlyDubai issued a statement about the incident, saying: "Our teams are working closely with the relevant authorities. Further updates will be issued as additional confirmed details become available,” the spokesperson said. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the situation is under control, with officials working to arrange alternative flights for the passengers. Russian President Vladimir Putin has been quietly upgrading a secret, Cold War-era command center deep inside a mountain that can withstand American bunker-buster bombs and guarantee mutually assured destruction in the event of nuclear war.A recent investigation into the Kremlin bunker at Kosvinsky Kamen mountain, in the Urals 800 miles east of Moscow, revealed that the Russian Ministry of Defense has been working on a major modernization project at the site since 2018, according to The Sunday Times, Danwatch, and Dossier Center.The deep-dive included the first images from inside the doomsday bunker, known as Facility 1335, which included an ominous staging area covered in posters of missiles, explosions, and Russian troops. While little was known about the base since its construction in the 1970s, the new report revealed that the facility has at least 24 underground rooms, with sprawling tunnels measuring some 1.5 miles away from the entrances. New England Patriots rookie tight end Eli Raridon and his wife, Anna, announced the loss of their baby son in an emotional social media post.  “Our angel, Peter James Raridon, was born on September 11th��,” Anna shared via Instagram on Tuesday, September 29. “When Eli and I went in for our 20-week anatomy scan, excited to see our sweet baby boy, our hearts were forever changed. Our little one was diagnosed with anencephaly, a fatal condition in which he would not survive outside the womb.” (Anencephaly, per the Cleveland Clinic, is a severe and fatal fetal defect in which a baby is born without major parts of their brain, skull or scalp.)  She continued, “While we are absolutely devastated that we were unable to bring our baby boy home, I am grateful to have loved him deeply, kept him safe, and had been his home for the past 9 months before he was called back to Heaven.” While Anna acknowledged the couple “may never understand the why behind this journey” and their son’s “time with us was brief,” she called his “purpose still meaningful.” “He will forever be a part of our story,” she wrote. Back in 1993, a controversial Dutch arthouse movie was unveiled to the public for the first time at an independent film festival. It was titled 'Diary Of A Weak Yogi', and it was intended to shock viewers . The film, which was in black-and-white, tells a provocative story, with nudity featured throughout , along with explicit and sexually-charged scenes regularly shown. While the on-screen content was controversial, there were more headlines made from the creation and intended release of the title. Unfortunately for directors Pim de la Parra and Ronaldo la Silva, the movie was so inappropriate that it never made it to cinemas. And just days after filming wrapped, lead actor Kamaran Abdulla took his own life. Now, 33 years on, the film has finally been released in cinemas, though director de la Parra will never see the film's theatrical release, having died three years ago. The Dutch movie focuses on two couples who seem happy, before jealousy, resentment and sexual frustrations cause the relationships to unravel. Derek (Abdulla) is a university professor married to Audrey (Manouk van der Muelen), a successful novelist. They are friends with Robert, a painter getting ready for an exhibition in Rotterdam, and his wife Loes, who is a motorcycle mechanic. The four start to spend more time together, unveiling the truths and scars of their relationships, resulting in the couples swapping partners. This then leads to a number of sexual run-ins that involve sadomasochism and BDSM, going beyond normal romantic scenes. For example, there is a scene where Derek is whipped repeatedly by a crowd of people dressed in bondage - there is another scene where Loes is seen riding her racehorse, naked. While these scenes may be graphic, this isn't what stopped the title from seeing the light of day; it was a lack of finances. Why didn't the film get a theatrical release? The film's release relied on funding from the conservative Dutch Film Fund, which chose to refuse to pay them the money needed to see out production. Following the suicide of actor Kamaran Abdulla and the film's explicit nature, including extreme nudity, they chose to hold back on funding. The filmmakers were then unable to finish what they started, with aspects like the soundtrack and the film's opening and closing credits left to do. Eventually, De la Parra and la Silva won their respective lawsuits against the Fund, as courts ordered it to pay them the grant money. But the Fund still refused, as the unfinished movie remained locked away. The controversial 1993 film remained unfinished until recently. Credit: Periscoop Film Filmmaker made harrowing admission about Abdulla Abdulla played lead character Derek, though he would tragically die by suicide at the age of 34, days after filming had wrapped. As well as the funding issue, the death of the Dutch-Iraqi actor affected the production and cast. Paul Ruven, a screenwriter who helped to get the film its theatrical release this year, said that the late artist only agreed to take the role on one day before filming began. He explained, as per the Daily Mail : "I called him around midnight for the role, "He was willing, but he had just called his parents in Iraq to tell them he was going to commit suicide... But as far as he was concerned, the suicide could wait until after filming. "Because of that, Kamaran felt no shame whatsoever, because he wouldn't be around anymore anyway when the reviews came out. No other actor I know would expose himself like that." Ruven helped to bring a forgotten piece of cinema to the public eye over 30 years after its release, as part of a promise made to the late de la Parra. I was on this big trip. I made it a big [deal] like, ‘Oh, I’m going to go out and do all this stuff, be in Australia,’ and I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities.” Christopher noted that he “tried everything” to lose weight over the years, but nothing worked for him long-term. “I was doing meal delivery things in high school, and I remember feeling like a weirdo when I was bringing weird lunches to school,” he admitted. “It’s not an overnight thing, but it took a lot of trial and error. And even still to this day … when you’re saying, ‘Oh, before-and-after photos’ … I don’t feel like I’m an ‘after’ yet. I don’t feel like I’m at the point.” Christopher revealed that giving up bread during the Catholic holiday Lent last year gave him the push he needed. “I was like, ‘Well, if I’m giving up bread, I might as well just take the opportunity,' and I’m a good Catholic boy, so I’m not going to break it,” he explained. “And that was my one rule. I was like, ‘I’m not going to break Lent.’ And so, I lost 30 pounds just through that.”
