Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore has been hospitalized after suffering a late hit in the Saturday, September 26, game against the University of Southern California Trojans. The game was stopped for several minutes on Saturday after Moore’s head slammed into the ground following a hit from USC linebacker Desman Stephens II. Moore was then taken off the field and transported to the Los Angeles General County Hospital via ambulance. "It was a disgusting play," Oregon coach Dan Lanning said to a gaggle of reporters after the game, per ESPN. "The energy changed. A lot of guys on the sideline, they were emotional in that moment, including myself." A team spokesperson later gave an update on Moore’s health, sharing that he had movement in his extremities and was still being evaluated. "He's in recovery, so I'm not going to speak too soon, but he is moving," Lanning said, per the outlet. "He has the ability to move. So we continue to assess him." While Stephens was ejected after the play as a result of the late hit, he did return to the USC sideline for the remainder of the game. USC coach Lincoln Riley explained that Stephens was allowed to come back because "he's on our football team." "Never want to see that with any opponent, no matter how competitive the game is," Riley said. "These are all people at the end of the day on both sides. So, wish him a speedy recovery." When Lanning was asked about USC appearing to celebrate the hit on the sideline, he denied seeing any of the players cheering in the wake of the injury. "I didn't see any of that, and if that's the way somebody else was operating, that's really disappointing," Lanning said, per CBS Sports. "In that moment, for me, I challenge myself to focus on the moment and things I can control. We try to have a singular focus. Our guys respect the game. I don't think that's necessarily an indictment on coach Riley, because I can't speak to what I didn't see.” Moore was replaced on the field by backup quarterback and Nebraska transfer Dylan Raiola, who later reflected on the moment. (Oregon ultimately won the game 41-27.) "The ultimate goal is to win," Raiola said, according to ESPN. "No matter how it happens, no matter, sadly, whoever goes down, the game of football doesn't feel sorry for us. We've got to step up, and we've got to keep fighting. And those guys in our locker room did just that. ... The wolf came out, and we made sure that our prey felt what we'd been preparing for all week."

Obtained by NY Post“He walked straight back there as if he’d done it a hundred times, like second nature,” Donny told The Post of the disgusting Ring footage.“I had shoes in the hallway, a chair in the hallway, a table in the hallway and he was peeing and splashing everywhere,” the resident added.The footage shows a man wearing a light blue-and-gray Amazon delivery driver uniform ring the electronic doorbell system at around 3 p.m. to gain entry into the building.Donny, who wished to not be identified by his last name, buzzed the driver into the building and thought nothing was unusual — until he later checked footage on the Ring app and was shocked at what he saw.The footage shows the deliveryman look around the hallway, presumably to check if the coast is clear before he unzips his pants and does his business all over Donny’s belongings.The delivery driver allegedly started urinating all over the lobby causing one resident’s property to become damaged. Obtained by NY PostWhen Donny reached out to Amazon to complain about the whiz, he said Amazon called it a “horrible” incident and dropped a mere $50 gift card as their way of saying sorry.“I didn’t think that was appropriate for what had happened” Donny said. He refused the coupon, he added.Donny claims that he had several belongs soaked in the stranger’s urine including shoes, a chair and a table, which he said he had to throw out.He said he now fears that any time he lets a delivery driver into the building that they too will repeat the “foul” act.The delivery worker, who has not be identified, was seen on Ring camera footage moments before the incident. Obtained by NY Post“Now, every time an Amazon driver rings my doorbell, I have to go check the camera to make sure that he’s not peeing in my hallway,” said Donny.He also said that he worries about it happening in front of someone close to him, like his 5-year-old nephew who comes to visit him often.“He could have easily been there. My girlfriend could have walked out of the door and seen this happening while it was happening,” he said.Attorney Cary London at the firm Fredson Statmore Bitterman said that they are exploring possible litigation against Amazon.“We are exploring all legal avenues against Amazon,” London said. “But what we would really like to see is a change in Amazon’s policies — in addition to monetary compensation.”The delivery driver has not been identified.Amazon distanced itself from the deliveryman, saying he was not directly employed by the company but instead worked for one of the behemoth’s independent “Delivery Service Partners.”“This does not reflect the standards we expect from Delivery Service Partners,” Amazon spokesperson Leigh Anne Gullett said in a statement. “The individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages.”The delivery app provides drivers with locations where restrooms are available and routes include a 30-minute lunch and two additional 15-minute breaks.

For Anne Hathaway, life doesn’t always imitate art. “Alex Cooper and ‘Call Her Daddy’ was scripted, and then I just, in a production meeting said, ‘Is that enough to establish Verity as an iconic cultural figure?’” Hathaway, 43, said during a Friday, September 25, appearance on the “Talk Of The Townsends” podcast, discussing her role in the upcoming film Verity. “[I thought] if we could do something, like, get a Gayle King interview and Hot Ones that would be, like, the triple crown trifecta.” Verity, based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling thriller novel of the same name, follows a struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), who is hired to finish renewed author Verity Crawford’s unpublished book (Hathaway) after she was paralyzed in a car accident. In the movie, Hathaway’s character is interviewed by podcast host Cooper, 32, and was grilled by Sean Evans while eating spicy chicken wings, respectively. “I’ve never done it before. I’ve never done the 10-piece gauntlet,” Hathaway noted of the real-life interview show, in which celebrities take a bite of wings covered in progressively hotter sauces. “You don’t want your first kiss ever in your life to be, like, an onscreen kiss, you want that to be a real thing where you’re not playing a character at the same time as experiencing something physically.” The Oscar winner had tried to adopt the same mindset during her fictional Hot Ones cameo. “I did the first three wings for real, and then I switched into dummy wings,” she quipped on Friday. “I thought that I was gonna be able to do the Hot Ones challenge to do press for this film because it just made sense. But then, I got pregnant.” Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman, announced in June that they are expecting their third baby. (The couple already share sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.) Due to her pregnancy, Hathaway’s doctors advised her against tackling Evans’ infamous hot wings challenge. “My doctor said I couldn’t do it because I might go into early labor,” she said, laughing. “So, I still haven’t done the gauntlet yet. I’m not sure when that’s going to happen. Maybe next year.” Despite her pregnancy putting her Hot Ones dream on the back burner, Hathaway has embraced her journey with pure gratitude given her age and past fertility challenges. “There’s always hope until there’s not, but when you get to a certain age, that hope looks like it’s 1 percent to 2 percent,” she told Access Hollywood in July. “We just decided to see where life took us with a very, very healthy, realistic expectation, which was very low.” She continued at the time, “We’re overjoyed because we just know from personal experience that not everybody gets this, and certainly not when you want it — sometimes not ever. It’s a blessing that we do not take for granted.” Verity hits theaters Friday, October 2.
