Brooke Hogan responded after her estranged mother, Linda, refuted a story about her late father, Hulk, having an affair with one of her best friends.  “I genuinely hope she finds whatever help and healing she needs,” Brooke, 38, exclusively told Us on Friday, September 25. “She’s my mom, and I love her. But loving someone doesn’t mean allowing them to keep bullying you, publicly rewriting history or provoking you and expecting you to stay silent.” In an exclusive interview with Us published on Thursday, September 24, Brooke reflected on her dad allegedly sleeping with her friend Christiane Plante when he was still legally married to Linda.  Linda, 67, took to social media on Friday to shoot down Brooke’s claim. “I was there and no he didn’t,” Linda commented via Instagram. “She would be wise to stop here,” Brooke told Us on Friday. “Not because I’m looking for a fight — I’m not — but because I have no interest in arguing, and I also have no interest in continuing to absorb attacks quietly. The truth is documented. I’d strongly suggest she quit while she’s behind.” Brooke also took to social media to push back against her mom’s assertion, sharing an excerpt from Linda’s 2011 memoir, Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes, in which she addressed Hulk’s affair with Plante.  “When Brooke told me about [Hulk’s] affair with Christiane, it felt good to hear Brooke say that my suspicions were right all along,” Linda wrote at the time. “She told me that she felt bad for me. Having Brooke understand my position gave me extra confirmation that I had made the right decision.” Linda filed for divorce from Hulk in 2007 after 24 years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in 2009. Plante confirmed the affair with Hulk to the National Enquirer in 2008. She said the relationship happened during a time when Hulk and Linda “privately knew their marriage was ending.” Brooke — who released a new song, “Goes Around,” about the drama with her mother on Friday — told Us in Thursday's interview that her late father sleeping with one of her best friends was “a major turning point in their relationship.” Hulk died of a heart attack in July 2025. He was 71.  “I forgive people very easily — sometimes probably too easily — and I forgave him, but something between us changed afterward,” she added. “I don’t think he ever related to me in quite the same way again.”

The leaders of an unrecognized University of Wisconsin fraternity were arrested after cops found around 30 partially clothed teen pledges smeared in condiments and huddled in a sweltering, filthy basement.Fraternity president Brayden J. Vane, both 20, were arrested Wednesday for misdemeanor hazing and misdemeanor disorderly conduct after police discovered the troubling scene while acting on an anonymous tip.Cops found 30 partially dressed fraternity pledges huddled in a filthy basement, covered in food and other liquids, and some showing signs of having been physically assaulted, police said. Madison Police DepartmentPolice entered the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity house in Madison around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, and found the men, some of whom had “visible injuries consistent with being physically assaulted,” covered in food, condiments and other liquids, according to the incident report.The room was muggy and overheated because a thermostat had been set to a sweltering 81 degrees, police said.Two men were arrested following the suspected hazing incident at an unrecognized University of Wisconsin-Madison fraternity. WKOWEveryone inside the home was escorted outside by police, and the pledges — the “vast majority” of whom were 18 years old — were checked for incapacitation and injuries.Police described the fraternity as an “unrecognized and unaccredited” student organization, which was “terminated” by U of W more than a decade ago.“UW–Madison is fully committed to preventing and addressing hazing and takes all incidents involving our community seriously,” the university said in a statement Thursday.“Any student determined to be in violation of law, regulation, or university policy may be subject to sanctions according to Wis. Zardoya, who was 20, died in July after falling from the ruins of Fort Dade on Egmont Key, Florida. “Losing someone you love is incredibly painful, and grief does not have a timeline. She has been trying to process that loss while also dealing with the pressures that come with growing up in the public eye,” Joe said. “I know my daughter. Christa Pike's Unusual Execution Request Leaves Many Speechless

A female Tennessee death row inmate has asked that she be killed by an all-female execution squad after she was convicted for murdering her classmate more than 30 years ago. Christa Pike was sentenced to death in March 1996 when she was just 18 years old. She learned her fate after she was found guilty of torturing and murdering fellow Knoxville Job Corps student Colleen Slemmer in 1995 alongside her then-boyfriend, Tadaryl Shipp. Investigators said that the couple carved a pentagram into Slemmer's chest, and Pike, now 50, kept a piece of her skull. Shipp, who was 17 at the time of the murder, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole because he was a minor. He remains in custody after he was most recently denied parole in October 2025. Pike is scheduled to be executed on Wednesday, September 30, making her the first woman in Tennessee to be executed in over 200 years. The only way she won’t be killed is if Governor Bill Lee stops the scheduled execution. Her lawyers previously filed a 226-page clemency petition, but have not gotten a response about the last-minute reprieve. Her lawyers said she is “terrified” of dying a “painful” death by lethal injection, and she reportedly wants to be shot by an all-woman firing squad in front of witnesses that would include members of Slemmer's family, according to the New York Post. Pike’s legal team added that the lethal injection will be “prolonged and agonizing” because she has a rare blood disorder, which could make it difficult to find a vein and could affect how she reacts to the drug. The request is not the first time Pike has tried to prevent being killed by lethal injection. Back in August, she took the state to court and asked to be hanged instead. “(Lethal injection administered by men) will increase the likelihood that an 8th Amendment violation will occur,” Pike’s lawyer, Stephen Ferrell, of the execution method, per the outlet. “There is an increased risk of pain and suffering.” While Pike’s ultimate goal is to be given a life sentence instead of death, the state has argued that she has not demonstrated a legitimate reason in order to have her sentence changed. “It was Ms Pike’s burden to come forth with scientific evidence (to overturn execution); she has completely failed to do that,” the state said. Pike opened up about fears for her execution in the September documentary, Dead Woman Walking: Pike Vs Tennessee. “I know I said I believed a date would never be set, but now that one has been set, it’s like a roulette wheel of thought and your actual brain is the ball bouncing around,” she said of her execution. “My nerves are shredded. When I do sleep, my brain eats itself.” She added that she had the “most horrible nightmares, but I think what has been worse is that they told me a year ahead of time.” “And so, every day I’ve woken up and lived that thought all day, every day, every waking moment,” Pike said.

Jenny Slatten's Struggle: The Heartbreaking Progression of Her ALS Battle

90 Day Fiancé alum Jenny Slatten’s ongoing battle with ALS has progressed. “Jenny is getting weaker by the day, she is on two medications for ALS, which are edaravone and riluzole, both supposed to slow the process down,” Jenny’s friend Serma Minincleri wrote in a Wednesday, September 23, GoFundMe update, noting that the pills make the former reality TV star “very tired.” Serma launched the campaign in July to raise funds for Jenny, 68, amid her ALS treatment. As of Wednesday, the TLC star has seen five neurologists and speech therapists to help treat her symptoms. “[Jenny] is doing what is asked of her and she will also be starting acupuncture very soon, there are trials that have shown great response with acupuncture and other holistic services that can greatly improve mobility and feeling less tired,” Serma added in her update. “Jenny hardly speaks now as it hurts.” Jenny announced in May that she had been diagnosed with ALS, a degenerative nervous system disease that often leads to worsening muscle weakness. Jenny’s husband, Sumit Singh, is now her primary caregiver. “Sumit speaks more for her and is the main spokesperson for his wife,” Serma added of Sumit, 38. “[He] is Jenny's main caregiver and doing a great job each day.” Jenny and Sumit revealed last month that her symptoms were “progressing” just three months after her initial diagnosis. “It’s starting showing more in her talking, like, it’s hard for her to talk now,” Sumit said in an August social media video. “Earlier she was doing good, [and now] it’s progressing, but we were thinking that we’d come to America … if we can get proper treatment. I always keep my hopes high, and I feel that America might have something better for Jenny and she can get at least a better support system.” Jenny had relocated to Sumit’s native India upon their 2021 wedding and was hesitant to move back to the United States for further treatment, succinctly calling the South Asian country her “home.” (Sumit is currently struggling to obtain a visa to travel with Jenny.) “We love each other, and obviously, I want Jenny to start getting treated and I want Jenny to start feeling better or at least [have] a support system that makes [her] at least feel like, not, struggle every day,” Sumit continued at the time. “If [our relationship and medical plans] are not enough for the embassy in order for me to get a visa, I don’t know whatever situation or condition I will ever be approved.”
