According to the statement, Panettiere's cause of death was ruled as "toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol, and Quetiapine." The manner of her death was determined to be an accident. A rep for the actress tells Us, "The investigation is still ongoing and the case is complex." News broke of Panettiere's death on August 16. "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen," read a statement from her father, Skip Panettiere. "We ask for privacy as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss." Police in Greenville, South Carolina, later shared more insight into the circumstances surrounding the actress' death. According to NBC News, authorities were "accompanied by EMS personnel" when they "responded to a report of an unresponsive female" around 1:50 p.m. local time. The woman, later identified as Hayden, was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation later began. Along with dad Skip and mom Lesley Vogel, Hayden is survived by daughter Kaya, 11, whom she shared with Wladimir Klitschko. Her brother, Jansen Panettiere, died in February 2023 at age 28. Hayden got her start in the '90s with roles on soap operas including One Life to Live. She voiced Princess Dot in 1998's A Bug's Life, later stealing hearts with her performance in 2000's Remember the Titans. The actress is also known for her turn as Kirby Reed in the Scream franchise. On the small screen, Hayden starred as Claire Bennet on NBC's Heroes from 2006 to 2010 and as Juliette Barnes on the smash hit Nashville from 2012 to 2018. She earned two Golden Globe nominations for her work on the musical drama series. Throughout her career, Hayden was candid about the challenges she faced in her personal life, including her battle with postpartum depression. A young couple in Arkansas is dead after a man accidentally killed his girlfriend while “playing” with a gun before he died by suicide. The Fairbanks Police Department said in a statement that 911 dispatchers first received a call that a man had accidentally shot his girlfriend inside a home on Wednesday, September 16, around 9:12 p.m. The caller, described as a friend of the man, contacted 911 immediately and stayed on the line as officers reported to the scene. During the phone call, dispatchers reported hearing a disturbance in the background. As police arrived at the home, they found one woman dead and a man who was “critically injured.” The man was then taken to a local hospital for treatment, where he later died. The pair has since been identified as Landon Lowrance and CloeRae McBrayer. An investigation was launched into the matter, and police learned that Lowrance, 22, shot McBrayer, 21, while he was “playing with the gun and pointing it at her.” “The caller, a friend of Lowrance’s, immediately contacted 911. While the line was open with dispatch, the caller attempted to physically intervene when Lowrance obtained another firearm and shot himself,” police said in the statement. “The caller was interviewed by detectives and is not believed to have been involved in the shootings.” Police added that the incident was “a tragic and preventable loss of life.” “The Fairbanks Police Department urges everyone to practice firearm safety at all times,” the department continued. “Firearms should always be handled responsibly and safely, and individuals should never participate in games or activities involving firearms that place anyone at risk of injury or death.” Police then asked that anyone with information regarding the case contact FPD detectives at fpdinvestigations@fairbanks.gov or 907-450-6500. She would sing, she helped everybody.” Hooper added that McBrayer and Lowrance, who was stationed at Fort Wainwright in Alaska, were considering getting engaged. “She went up [to Fairbanks] for the weekend one time, and then she came back and was like, ‘Mama, he’s a really good guy,’” Hooper recalled. “I talked to his mom, she seems like a really good family, and they were talking about getting engaged this weekend and then all this.” Hooper added that she is not “mad” at Lowrance’s family following the tragedy. “It was out of their control — there was nothing that they could do about it,” she said. “I’m hurt because I don’t know exactly what happened. I looked like a cartoon version of myself,” he said. “The worst of it lasted about three days, and it’s been improving drastically every day since.”Day 1 brought puffy temples. By Day 2, bruising bloomed under one eye and the swelling started to block his vision. By Day 3, it had slid down into his neck.“My brain is not in danger at all. All of my airways are perfectly fine,” he reassured his TikTok followers. “It’s just swelling underneath the skin.” Viewers flooded the comments with questions and concerns, but Finken explained that the swelling was a normal part of the process.“The main thing that’s going to cause that swelling is the saline and anesthesia solution that they inject into your head,” he said. “Everyone’s lymphatic system works differently, also because of genetics, so some are going to puff up more and some it’s going to drain a lot quicker.”Of course, his pre-op weekend antics didn’t do him any favors.Finken admitted to drinking both Friday and Saturday before his Wednesday procedure — a move he now cautions others against. “You should not do this because it causes vascular dilation and also it makes local anesthesia less effective,” he stressed. Even still, Finken said he has no regrets about going under the knife. Within a matter of days, Finken’s swelling had largely subsided. The first night was rough, but as of Day 5 the pain is almost nonexistent.”Now, as his restored hairline begins to take root, Finken said the transplant was “one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself.”“If it’s something that can improve your confidence or quality of life, there’s nothing wrong with doing it,” he said.“And yeah, sometimes you just have to embrace looking like an egg for a few days.”

The wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes watched Kansas City’s thrilling overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, September 20, from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium with a group that included friend and influencer Dani Austin Ramirez. Brittany, 31, shared a photo via her Instagram Story that Ramirez had posted of the two of them at the game, writing over the image, “Sorry you had to hear me scream and say a lot of bad words for several hours ����.” The 33-30 win for the Chiefs now moves them to 2-0 on the season as Patrick, 31, threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns. Kansas City’s first two games of the regular season were the first two chances Patrick has had to prove he has fully recovered from the ACL injury he suffered last December. As Patrick has gone through the recovery process, first enduring surgery, then the long rehabilitation road, Brittany has stayed by his side. When Patrick arrived at training camp in July, she celebrated by resharing team footage of him taking the field. “Seeing him back doing what he loves,” Brittany wrote at the time via her Instagram Story. “So thankful ��.” Brittany opened up to Sports Illustrated in February about being the wife of an NFL player, reminding fans that they only see WAGs on gameday or on social media. “I think being the significant other to an NFL player is an incredibly hard role, and we take on a lot of important stuff behind the scenes that people don’t get to see,” she said. “We also get to enjoy life and do things that we love, too.” Patrick has been similarly supportive of Brittany. The couple married in 2022 and share daughters Sterling, 5, and Golden, 20 months, as well as son Bronze, 3. “I think people don’t even realize how much she does,” Patrick said on a May 2024 episode of the “Impaulsive” podcast. “I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and [making] it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that.
