I've been using this phone for 20 years now, and I'm in love with the new Swarovski collaboration,” she told Us. “It's so gorgeous with the quilted, all the Swarovski crystals. It's such a fashion statement, like, it literally feels like an accessory — like a Chanel purse or something. I love it.” As for her own ‘fit, Hilton gushed that The Blonds’ “extra” style perfectly matches her usual aesthetic. “The sparkles, the gorgeousness, the way these clothes make you feel, and I feel that they have so much fun with fashion more than many people, so I'm always excited to wear their looks,” she added. “Every time I have a concert, they're my first call to make custom looks for me, and I'm literally obsessed.” For her runway glam, Hilton wore her signature blonde tresses long and straight. “Today's hair is inspired by Philippe because rocking this gorgeous long blonde hair,” she said, joking that she also swaps her platinum mane for a dark wig to go “undercover” at Disneyland or while shopping on the weekend. “[Going brunette is] something that I do all the time, but I would never fully do it because, being blonde, I don't want to mess with it. In gratitude for my tireless efforts, the party exploited me as a racial caricature.At a February 2024 fundraiser for Joe Biden, Shekar Narasimhan, the chair of the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Victory Fund, posed a “question” to then-President Biden. In reality, the question was actually a sycophantic compliment so servile that I felt secondhand embarrassment. It went along the lines of this: Mr. President, your reign has been so successful, and your accomplishments legion. Tell us, leader, which triumph fills you with the greatest pride?Such questions were run of the mill at DNC-sanctioned events. They were never genuine inquiries but opportunities to kiss the ring and curry favor with Biden and his staffers who conferred political favors and White House invitations upon palace courtiers. ZUMAPRESS.comFlattery and favor-trading are the currency of identity-based organizations, which thrive on access like parasites on a host. Groups such as Black Lives Matter, the NAACP, Latino Victory Fund, Planned Parenthood, Human Rights Campaign and Shekar’s AAPI Victory Fund prioritize enriching their leaders over advancing their stated goals. In exchange for donations, politicians deliver access and photo ops. This sustains the identity-group executives’ lavish lifestyles. Meanwhile, the communities they claim to champion remain unchanged or worse off.Consider Bel Leong-Hong, AAPI Victory Fund’s co-founder. I have lost count of the times she has solicited me for money for some pointless event. These events are dressed as philanthropy and priced according to the donor’s desperation for access — $100,000 for a fleeting brush with presidential power, $10,000 for the precarious possibility of an invite to the Veep’s dinner party. The realistic prospect of positive impact is an afterthought. Politics has always been pay-to-play. But Democrats have made it their whole ecosystem. Every organism — consultant, professional outrage merchant, corporate DEI officer — feeds on the same minority carcass while pretending to heal it.Democrats have draped the ancient hustle for money in the garment of justice. Their victims are the very people Dems deem the most marginalized: minorities, LGBTQIA+ communities, first-generation Americans. Everyone except white men, who were deliberately left out. By carving society into ever-narrower identity silos, progressives transformed diversity from a strength into a hammer that would shatter communities. Then they monetized it.Strip away the Democrats’ performative empathy, and the transaction remains as old as Tammany, as cynical as Andrew Jackson’s spoils system. The same Democratic lineage that once rewarded loyalists with public offices now rewards them with consulting contracts, DEI sinecures and virtue-laundered donor dollars. Only the costume has changed.I know this, because the DNC imprisoned me in a racial silo of my own. They placed me on the DNC Ethnic Council in 2016 and unsuccessfully tried to recruit me for the AAPI Caucus. They subjected me to the very racial profiling they profess to abhor. I was rammed into a fundraising group with others who shared none of my concerns. Our only link was that we had vague ancestral origins in the Eastern Hemisphere. My worldview could not have been more different from theirs, yet the party only saw pigment and provenance.In May 2024, I cohosted a Biden fundraiser at the Mayflower Hotel. I wanted this to be a serious, thoughtful affair. Imagine my surprise when a fleet of Chinese lion dancers suddenly took the stage and began undulating for the crowd. The woke brigade had completely blindsided us.If I had been asked, I would have told the Dems that these dancers did not represent me or my fellow Asian Americans. I grew up dancing to Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys, not vibrating lions. But the DNC sees only racial caricatures and reduced me to the faux multiculturalism they shoved down everyone’s throats. They could not pause for even one second their obsessive compulsion with race and desire to “other” us at every opportunity.The golden lions also served another purpose: shielding Biden from substantive questions. Instead of participating in a policy discussion, my guest watched in bemused disbelief as drums pounded and beasts leaped around in a spectacle of red and gold. This display ate into the time set aside for real conversation. We wanted substance, not fabric and cymbals.I am grateful for my Chinese parents and the heritage that has shaped my work ethic, self-discipline, family values and conservative principles. But I have also worked hard to become American and to assimilate into this country I love.The DNC refused to believe it was possible for me to do so. I disappeared behind the golden lions. New legal documents filed this week and obtained by People show Nick’s attorneys responded to objections to their client, 32, accessing his family trust, the outlet reported on Friday, September 18. Per People, Nick’s legal team responded to successor trustee Jodi Pais Montgomery and former trustee Paul R. Kanin in two separate replies filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, September 17. “In the meantime, Nick still has not been able to access even $5 from his trust to buy basic subsistence items from the jail commissary,” Nick’s attorneys, Anita P. Wu and Geoffrey A. Neri, wrote in response to Montgomery. In response to Kanin, Nick’s attorneys argued, “Nick has been unable to access money that is lawfully his own — to re-engage criminal defense counsel, or even for basic subsistence items from the jail commissary.” According to an indictment obtained by Us on August 12, Nick is accused of the first-degree murders of his parents at their Los Angeles home on December 14, 2025. Rob was 78, and Michele was 70. Nick, who has struggled with addiction and mental health issues over the years, previously pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder with the special circumstance allegations of multiple murders and murder by means of lying in wait after the indictment was unsealed. Back in June, Nick first attempted to gain access to his share of a $1.5 million trust fund set up by his late parents. At the time, Nick argued that he should have received half of that sum when he turned 30 in September 2023. (The trust was established by his parents upon his birth in 1993.) In early August, however, lawyers for Nick’s previous and current trustee — Kanin and Montgomery — sought to block him from receiving any money from the trust due to California’s “Slayer Statute.” The “Slayer Statute” law states that “a person who feloniously and intentionally kills the decedent is not entitled” to any financial assets or property from the person or people they killed. Nick’s legal team appeared in court on August 17 seeking access to the trust fund. “The main thing to take away from today’s hearing and moving forward is Nick Reiner is very much entitled to his own money, his own funds. The body of an aspiring rapper was discovered wedged inside a school chimney in Glendale, New York, prompting a major investigation into how he died and ended up there. Matthew Collado, 29, who performed under the name A.K Nash, disappeared from his home in May. Collado had been uncontactable since May 9, the day before Mother’s Day, when he told his mother he would spend the holiday with her at his grandmother’s nursing home. When he failed to show up, his family reported him missing, which prompted police to launch an investigation. Students at the school had reportedly noticed a “rancid smell” for a number of weeks before the disturbing discovery. It was unclear how long the body had been stuck inside the chimney. There was initial speculation that the remains might not be Collado’s, but on July 29 the Medical Examiner’s office contacted his mother, Sophia Wood, to confirm that dental records proved it was her son. A spokeswoman for the city medical examiner’s office said on September 17 that the cause and manner of Collado’s death are both “pending further study.” Collado's mother discusses her son's death Wood reportedly told the Daily News she had no idea how her son died or how he ended up inside the chimney, emphasizing that he was “afraid of heights.” “There’s a void in my gut. I walk around in a daze. I still haven’t believed it yet,” she revealed. She also added that the scenario did not fit who her son was: “My son was afraid of heights so him climbing up there? That is not my son. “He hates fire. He hates smoke. A chimney? It doesn’t jive with my son and who he was.” Describing him as “an amazing son” and “mommy’s little boy,” Wood recounted his frequent calls and visits: “He’s always, ‘Hi mom. I love you mom’ … He used to go visit my mom all the time in the nursing home.” The investigation into Collado's inexplicable death remains ongoing, with authorities working to ascertain how he ended up in the chimney, what caused his death, and whether there is something more sinister involved.
