11-Year-Old's Brave Battle Against Dog Pack Leaves Community in Shock

An 11-year-old football player was left with over a dozen open wounds after he was savaged by a pack of dogs while playing outside with his best friend.Banner O’Berry, from Atkinson, Georgia, was with his teammate Sunday when his four-wheeler broke down, but as they hopped off to fix it they spotted three dogs running towards them, his mom, Jessica O’Berry, explained in a Facebook post.Once the duo noticed the dogs charging toward them, they scrambled on top of the four-wheeler when one dog grabbed O’Berry by the ankle and “snatched him off,” before the other two joined in on the attack, his mom said. Her son then desperately tried to fight off the toothy pack using an on-hand pair of pliers. One dog grabbed O’Berry by the ankle and “snatched him off,” before the other two joined in on the attack, his mom said. Facebook/Jessica O'Berry“He managed to grab one of the dogs and hold it down while trying to fight the others with those pliers,” Jessica O’Berry wrote, adding that his friend stayed by him “doing absolutely everything in his power to get those dogs away.”The attack left O’Berry with 17 open wounds to his legs that required three and a half hours of surgery at Coffee Regional Medical Center. In her post, Jessica O’Berry detailed a call she received from her son in the ambulance while he was “hurting like hell” asking her to call his football coach to let him know he wouldn’t be able to finish the season. The trio of dogs has since been taken into custody for a 10-day hold by the Atkinson County Sheriff’s Office, Chief Danial Knapik told The Post. The attack left O’Berry with 17 open wounds to his legs that required three and a half hours of surgery at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Facebook/Jessica O'BerryOne dog has been identified as a pit bull with the other two suspected to be hound and terrier mixed breeds, Knapik said. The sheriff’s office has initiated a court process to deem the dogs as “vicious animals” and notifying paperwork has been served to the dogs’ owners, according to Knapik.O’Berry is now recovering from the terrifying attack and was able to make it to a Sept. 16 football game where he cheered on his team in a wheelchair from the sidelines.“This warmed my heart!” his mom wrote as she shared photos of him at the game, with visible bandages on his legs.

Amanda Mack's Tragic Passing: The Rare Disorder Behind Her Untimely Death New

Amanda Mack's Tragic Passing: The Rare Disorder Behind Her Untimely Death

Holy Cross volleyball player Amanda Mack died on Wednesday, September 16, after being diagnosed with a “rare blood disorder.” She was 20.  “It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter Amanda Elizabeth Mack on 9/16/26 at 9:16 pm,” Mack’s Instagram account posted on Thursday, September 17. “Amanda was a bright light in this world and will be forever loved and missed! ✝️.” Mack revealed a “major life update” on social media July 13, sharing a picture of herself in a hospital bed.  “Not a post I ever thought I would be making,” she wrote via Instagram. “A few weeks ago I woke up not feeling well. A bad headache where I could hear my heartbeat pounding in my head. I ended up passing out and went to the hospital. My hemoglobin was at 4 and my platelets were at 1. I was in critical condition. Somehow my body had depleted my blood supply and ability to clot. I was admitted to the hospital and loaded full of blood and platelet transfusions.” After a week in the hospital, Mack said she was transferred to Tampa General Cancer Institute, where it was determined she had “a rare blood disorder called Severe Aplastic Anemia.” “While it is technically not cancer, it is in the blood cancer family and treated the same,” she explained. “My hematology/oncology Doctors have said that I recently had a virus that I didn’t know I had and it caused my immune system to go rogue and start killing my bone marrow. I no longer can make red blood cells needed to survive which has also caused my bone marrow to be depleted.” Mack had two “emergency surgeries in the last week to save my life due to severe complications,” but expressed optimism after finding a bone marrow donor, which she said is “the only cure” for severe aplastic anemia.  “After I am transplanted, the donor cells will start rebuilding my immune system,” she said. “It will take several months to start getting back to where I was before however, I will be back better than ever!” Mack provided an update on August 14, saying she “finished my Immunosuppressive Therapy yesterday and came through it with minimal adverse reactions!” “Now we wait for my body to fix my immune system and regenerate my bone marrow,” she shared via Instagram. “I should be able to go home by the end of next week and get to start Physical Therapy and the rest of my healing journey! Thank you to everyone for checking on me and for all the well wishes! You all have made this whole thing a little easier .” Mack played volleyball at the University of Cincinnati and Eastern Kentucky University before transferring to Holy Cross in July.  “Cincinnati Volleyball is heartbroken by the passing of former Bearcat Amanda Mack,” the team wrote via social media on Thursday. “Our hearts are with Amanda’s family, friends and teammates.”

Millie Bobby Brown's Emotional Message After Welcoming Baby No. 2 New

Millie Bobby Brown's Emotional Message After Welcoming Baby No. 2

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi confirmed the arrival of their second child, sharing a glimpse of the newborn. In a joint post shared via Instagram on Thursday, September 17, the actress, 22, and Bongiovi, 24, shared a cute photo to welcome their new family addition. “Hi little guy!” they captioned the post, which featured a photo of their son’s hand. The image also captured what appeared to be Brown’s hand which was adorned with a ring reading, “Mom.” Earlier on Thursday, People reported that the couple had quietly welcomed their second child via adoption. Us has reached out to reps for Brown and Bongiovi for comment. Brown and Bongiovi, who got married in May 2024, are also parents to a daughter, whom they welcomed via adoption a year after tying the knot. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple wrote in an August 2025 Instagram statement. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter in both peace and privacy. And then there were three!” In a June appearance on Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, the Stranger Things star opened up about her experience of motherhood and shared the most difficult part of adopting a child. “Every journey is different. Waiting for the call is the hardest part,” Brown said. Brown had some words of wisdom for others navigating a similar journey, adding, “I just would always encourage you to understand that every journey is different. Don’t compare yourself to others, don’t compare yourself to statistics, don’t compare yourself to other families, but your baby is out there, and you’ll find each other.” In the podcast, the actress touched on how it felt to receive backlash for her parenting choices as a person in the public eye. “I was like, ‘This is vicious, you are vicious,’ and I don’t have time for angry women that just need to bring you down, especially when it comes to motherhood,” Brown said. “I’ve never experienced anything like this. It’s like, I can always deal with the, ‘Oh, my God, you showed your nipples? What a bitch!’ I’m like, ‘Whatever.’ I don’t care about that, but when you’re like, ‘You didn’t put a hat on your baby?’ I’m like, ‘Try putting a hat on my baby. I dare you [to] put a beanie on her.’” Brown continued, “Stay in your own lane, put a hat on your baby and put a sock in your mouth. Sorry, the English is coming out of me, but it’s so true. Like, shut up.”

Alan Ritchson and Catherine's Heartfelt Separation After 20 Years Together

Reacher star Alan Ritchson and his wife, Catherine Ritchson, have called it quits after two decades of marriage. “After 20 years together, Cat and I have decided to end our marriage and continue alongside one another in a different way,” Alan, 43, and Catherine, 37, wrote in a joint statement shared via Instagram on Saturday, September 12, announcing their separation. “We grew up together, we built a life and a family together.” Alan and Catherine said “I do” in 2006 before going on to welcome three children together. “We are raising three incredible boys, who will always be the center of our world,” the now-exes continued in their statement. “Nothing can diminish what these years have meant to us — or the love and respect we will always share.” They added, “The best gift we can give one another — and our boys — right now is friendship, grace and commitment to becoming the strongest coparents we can be. We also want to give each other room to grow into the people we are becoming.” The Hunger Games actor and Catherine further asked for privacy as their family adjusts to a new normal. “Change is hard enough without the whole world weighing in,” the pair stated. “We hope, especially for the sake of our boys, that you will allow our family to move through this chapter with privacy and compassion. Thank you for supporting us as we continue making the health and happiness of our family our priority.” Alan and Catherine were high school sweethearts, meeting in a shared ballet class in their shared Florida hometown. “After the millionth time of us sitting next to each other, inches away, tying our shoes — so now it’s super awkward — I was like, ‘So I heard you ice skate,’” Alan told Men’s Health in February 2024. “She was like the sweetest thing in the world.” While Alan and Catherine briefly split after one year together, they eventually reconciled before tying the knot in 2006. As Alan pursued a career in Hollywood, Catherine was among his biggest cheerleaders. “I’m delighted that this weekend the world gets to see something I’ve known all along, through many years of being his scene partner on the other side of the audition tape: @alanritchson is a dynamic, powerhouse talent with the range of a Steinway grand piano,” she gushed via Instagram in February 2024, promoting his movie Ordinary Angels. “I implore you to see Ordinary Angels in theaters, to support original, uplifting storytelling!”

Brittany Snow's 17-Year Recovery Journey Inspires with Unexpected Message New

Brittany Snow's 17-Year Recovery Journey Inspires with Unexpected Message

Brittany Snow shared a powerful message on her recovery years after opening up about body image issues and struggling with anorexia and exercise bulimia. “TW: ED,” the actress, 40, began her Instagram post discussing a sensitive subject, telling her followers, “trigger warning: eating disorder.” “Today, September 17th, marks 17 years of recovery for me,” Snow wrote on Thursday. “I’ve heard they call that a golden anniversary. And somehow, that feels fitting.” She noted that her movie Parachute, which came out in 2023, is about the day she decided to stop “hurting” herself. “The day I chose to bet on myself, even when I couldn’t yet imagine what a life on the other side might look like.” “Seventeen years ago, I didn’t know if I would make it. I couldn’t see a future, and I certainly couldn’t imagine one where I would learn to be kind to myself,” Snow shared. “If someone had told me then that I would not only live, but one day have a beautiful, full life, free from the cycle of self-destruction and my eating disorder… I truly don’t think I would have believed them.” She went on to say that her friends and family helped her through the difficult time, along with a voice in her head that kept telling her, “Don't give up. There is so much more to your story.” “There was so much beauty ahead that I couldn’t see yet. So much love,” Snow wrote. “And one of the greatest gifts of making it through is being able to turn around and share the hope I couldn’t see possible.” https://www.instagram.com/p/DdZONMQxmzm/ Snow concluded her post by sending an encouraging message to her fans. “If you’re struggling right now, please know you are not alone. So many people have stood where you are standing. There is life beyond the place you are in today, even if you can’t picture it yet,” she wrote. “One day, the story you fought so hard to keep living may become the very story someone else needs to hear.” “I’m 17 years on the other side today. I’m so grateful I stayed ✨✨✨,” she added. Snow has been candid about her eating disorder through the years. In 2025, she opened up to Self about undergoing treatments to also combat depression and self-harm. “I had so much disdain for my body and I couldn't see myself as a functional, beautiful being. I only saw the things that were wrong with me,” she recalled. Snow ultimately overcame her disorder by talking to herself “like a kid.” “I’d be like, ‘OK, baby girl, do you want a bagel? Let’s get you a bagel. We’re going to toast it. We’re going to put some cream cheese on it. Is that all you can eat? OK, that’s OK.’” Eventually, she realized that she was hearing “whatever [she] wanted.” She added, “I was talking to myself like someone I loved. And then I just never stopped doing that.” If you or someone you know struggles with an eating disorder, visit the National Alliance for Eating Disorders website or call their hotline at (866) 662-1235. Taylor Frankie Paul's Custody Drama Intensifies After Drug Test Claims New

Taylor Frankie Paul's Custody Drama Intensifies After Drug Test Claims

Taylor Frankie Paul reportedly had her visitation rights shortened after allegedly failing multiple drug tests amid her custody disputes with ex-husband Tate Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Paul, 32, allegedly failed multiple drug tests in the last 60 days, according to a TMZ report published Wednesday, September 16. The outlet also claimed that, as a result, she was limited to eight hours of weekly parenting time with her kids. (Taylor shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, with Tate, 34, as well as son Ever, 2, with Mortensen, 33.) Taylor has not publicly addressed the accusations. Us reached out for comment. Us understands that juvenile court proceedings are strictly confidential and a court-ordered gag order remains in effect. “The fact that alleged information from these confidential proceedings is being disclosed publicly is yet another example of the continuing harassment and inappropriate conduct from the other side,” a source tells Us. Taylor temporarily lost custody of Ever in March after resurfaced footage from her 2023 arrest was leaked. (Taylor was arrested for assault after an alleged incident with Mortensen and was remanded to probation after pleading guilty as part of a deal to dismiss child abuse accusations. She completed her three-year sentence in August.) After a recent court hearing, a judge ruled to increase Taylor’s visitation rights with Ever and also granted the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star and Mortensen mutual protective orders. Tate, for his part, requested a restraining order against Taylor in July to change the terms of their divorce and custody arrangement. His motion was subsequently denied. Throughout the ordeal, Taylor has denied the accusations into her character. “I tried to have this sealed from the beginning. It wasn’t in protection of me, but honestly, just to keep it sealed for the children,” she alleged in a social media video uploaded in July about the legal proceedings. “This was something I asked for and was denied from the beginning. I am an open book. I will give you the ugly and the pretty. If you know me, I don’t claim to be this ‘mother of the year.’ I have my faults.” She continued, “I also have a right to stick up for myself, give context of my life. … I will admit I am a lot of things. I can confidently say that if you were to put my kids on a [witness] stand, they are choosing Mom and Mom’s house every time, I say that with full confidence because I love my children. They know that I love them.” If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support.

Florida Mom's Shocking Confession Turns Family Life Upside Down

A married Florida mother and her son were charged with incest after she admitted that the two had had sex “only about 100 times” since he was a teenager — while keeping it secret from her husband, according to police. The sick relationship was first revealed by Shane Clemens, 22, who was outraged after his mom, Christina Clemens, 46, called the police and accused him of assaulting her last month, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.“So he got mad because she called and we arrested him for hitting mama. Amber Glenn Sparks Chivalry Debate After 'DWTS' Premiere Surprise

Amber Glenn Sparks Chivalry Debate After 'DWTS' Premiere Surprise

Figure skater Amber Glenn found the Dancing With the Stars season 35 premiere especially nerve-wracking. “OK, first, why would they do that to us? No, thank you,” Glenn, 26, joked to Us after the live broadcast on Wednesday, September 16. “Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful to be on the show … and, like, ‘Aw, this is a dream come true,’ [but] why the hell did the men go first? What happened to ladies first? What happened to chivalry? What?” DWTS kicked off its latest season on Tuesday, September 15, with the male celebrities taking the ballroom floor for the first time. The women had their own chance to shine the next night. “[It was] tough sitting here and just watching and not being able to do [our routine] out there,” Glenn’s pro partner, Pasha Pashkov, told Us on Wednesday. “They got to dance yesterday and get everything out of the way, and today just sit here and watch and enjoy. And us yesterday, we're watching and we still have to stay focused for tomorrow. It wasn't easy.” When it was their time to take the stage, Glenn and Pashkov, 40, delivered a sizzling cha-cha to “Smooth” by Santana featuring Rob Thomas. The routine earned a total score of 18 out of 30 from the judging panel. “I was really trying to perform to the best of my ability while remembering, like, ‘OK, I'm not here on my own. I can't just do whatever,’” she told Us of her competition mindset. “Usually I can kind of just make little things happen that are different. I'm like, ‘Oh, I can't. I gotta stick to the plan.’” While Glenn is used to skating on her own instead of with a team or partner, the Olympian has found other aspects of her sport coming in handy on DWTS. “I think [my Olympics experience] has definitely helped me in the performance aspect and how to handle waiting for an entire day and watching and waiting and waiting and waiting and then eventually getting to perform,” she explained. “It's been really nice, because I've gotten to talk to some of the other people with different backgrounds, different experiences, but I've also gotten to come in with a lot of tips and tricks I've learned over the years, [like] how to bandage your foot when you get blisters and how to handle some performance anxiety.” She continued, “For a lot of people here, this is their first time performing live, whereas I perform live — not anything close to this, but there are a few things that I've been able to give my expertise or advice in. I've learned so much from all the other pros and the stars and everything.” Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
