Why 'Little Rascals' Star Bug Hall's GoFundMe is Capturing Hearts New

Why 'Little Rascals' Star Bug Hall's GoFundMe is Capturing Hearts

Brandon “Bug” Hall is reaching out for a helping hand as he and his wife prepare to welcome their sixth child. The former child star, 41, launched a GoFundMe campaign on Thursday, November 5, in an attempt to raise funds to cover expenses associated with their expanding brood and to help finish setting up their new home. Hall shared via the GoFundMe campaign that he was initially hesitant to create the fundraiser but he had reached the point where he felt it was necessary. “It's now six years since I self-cancelled, and I have avoided doing one of these in all that time. I always said this was my choice, and so I didn't want to offload the glorious burden of it unless there was no other choice. Well here we are,” Hall, who is best known for his role as Alfalfa in The Little Rascals, wrote. Hall shared that he and his family were working hard towards finding their feet in their new property in rural Arkansas but challenges had arisen. “We've made it onto the new land in record time, but I'm a few materials short of having things working right, and I've fallen a little behind on the few bills we have (phone, propane for the camper, and an unexpected electric hookup service fee),” he explained. Hall continued, “We're all overjoyed to be where we are, and we're even enjoying roughing it, but baby six is less than a month away, and I really need some help getting the last few things buttoned up beforehand. The father-of-five said he wanted to get everything sorted before his wife gives birth and acknowledge that he isn’t the only one doing it tough at the moment. “My hope is to finalize everything here over the next two weeks so I can take some work until the baby arrives,” he wrote. “Times are hard for everyone, and I'm no more deserving than anyone else, but I ask in your charity that you help where you can, whether monetarily, by sharing this, or by prayer and sacrifice for the Hall-Barnetts of the Holy Cross.” The GoFundMe’s stated goal was set at $2,000. At time of publication, Hall had received more than $9,000 from 102 donations. Hall’s campaign comes after he was arrested in Ohio in April after failing to appear in court, according to multiple reports. The actor missed a December 31, 2024, court date tied to an October 29, 2024, traffic citation for driving without liability insurance. He was charged with failure to appear. Hall left Hollywood behind in 2020 in a bid to embrace a self-described “radical Catholic extremist” lifestyle off-the-grid as he took a “vow of poverty,” according to the Daily Mail.

Milania Giudice's Heartbreaking Vigil for Her Best Friend in Hospital New

Milania Giudice's Heartbreaking Vigil for Her Best Friend in Hospital

Milania Giudice stayed by her best friend Victoria Zardoya’s side in the days before her death. “I just know Milania has been through a lot,” Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer Aydin told The Daily Mail in an interview published on Friday, November 6. “She lost her best friend. Her best friend was an organ donor. When you are an organ donor, you have to wait for them to come and retrieve your organs.” She continued, “So you will be in the bed for sometimes days, maybe even over a week. And Milania did not leave her best friend's side … She was in the hospital with her until they retrieved her organs. She did not leave her side, and Teresa flew to Tampa to support Milania and Victoria's family. And that's a lot for anybody to handle, let alone, you know, a young adult. So, she's had a lot thrown her way.” Aydin, 49 — a close friend of RHONJ costar and Milania’s mom, Teresa Giudice — said that Milania, 20, was at the hospital with Zardoya for “at least five days or more.” Zardoya, Milania’s childhood best friend, died at age 20 in July after suffering an accidental fall while exploring the ruins of Fort Dade from the Spanish-American War during a trip to Egmont Key, an island off the coast of Tampa Bay, Florida. According to the autopsy report obtained by Us on Tuesday, November 3, Zardoya’s cause of death was listed as “craniocerebral trauma,” including skull fractures. The manner of death is listed as “accident (fall from height and injured self).” According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, craniocerebral trauma, or traumatic brain injury (TBI), is damage to the brain caused by an external force, commonly categorized into penetrating and non-penetrating injuries. It results from events like falls, crashes or blows to the head. Toxicology test results determined that Zardoya was positive for ketamine and norketamine, a substance produced when the body breaks down the drug. The results also showed alcohol and etomidate, a medication used for sedation. A postmortem examination from the Sarasota, Florida, medical examiner’s office confirmed Zardoya was an organ donor and donated both of her lungs, heart, liver, both kidneys and more following her death. Milania has been open about her struggles with grief following Victoria’s death. “If this summer taught me anything, it is to never judge anybody no matter what you see, what you hear. Never judge anybody. It also taught me that life is all about sacrifice,” she said in an Instagram video last month after she made headlines for a tense exchange with her mom at the Tampa International Airport. Milania continued, “Empathy is a trait that I’ve personally have always had. When I love, I want to move mountains for you. When you’re upset, I’m upset. When you’re angry, I’m angry. I’m a ride-or-die friend. I’m ride or die for my family.” Milania entered a treatment center last month after she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD. “I am not ashamed of any of my mental health disorders because I’m currently in a treatment center,” she said in a video from the center. “My mom’s actually on her way to come visit me today, and I do work on myself. But you know what? I am only 20 years old, and this summer hit me like a bus.” Teresa, 54, has also shown her support for Milania in the wake of Zardoya’s death. “As a mother, there is nothing more important to me than the health, safety, and well-being of my children,” she said in a statement in September. “The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life.” Teresa added, “Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for. Right now, my only focus is my daughter — making sure she is surrounded by love, family, support, and the care she needs.”

Elizabeth's Rent Cap Victory: What $20 Limit Means for Tenants New

Elizabeth's Rent Cap Victory: What $20 Limit Means for Tenants

Real Estate exclusive details See more of our coverage in your search results. Renters in one New Jersey city are getting a major break on housing costs — with annual rent increases capped at just $20 after voters overwhelmingly backed a measure to restore one of the state’s toughest rent-control protections.Residents of Elizabeth, a city just south of Newark Liberty International Airport, voted Tuesday to reinstate a decades-old rule limiting annual rent hikes on rent-controlled apartments to 3% or $20, whichever is less.Elizabeth, NJ, voters approved a measure capping annual rent increases at just $20 for rent-controlled apartments. Jin – stock.adobe.comThe measure passed with roughly 68% support, according to unofficial election results, marking a victory for tenant advocates after years of legal battles with landlords and city officials.“I’m heartened that my hometown overwhelmingly voted to approve a measure that ultimately would make Elizabeth more affordable,” Isaac Jimenez, a member of the Freelizabeth campaign committee, told The Post.“Rent control is affordable housing, and most typically how people experience affordable housing. This is just the beginning for an era of tenant organizing and tenant power in Elizabeth.”But there’s a catch: The voter-approved ordinance is set to expire in December 2027, leaving its longer-term future in the hands of city officials.“The initiated ordinance would indeed expire [December] 2027 at which point the City Council would have to renew or amend the ordinance,” Jimenez told The Post. “We hope the council will remember this result when that time comes.”Nearly 68% of voters backed the measure, restoring a decades-old rent-control protection. mbruxelle – stock.adobe.comUnder the restored rule, a tenant paying $1,500 a month could see their monthly rent rise by no more than $20 over a 12-month period, rather than the $45 increase permitted under a straight 3% cap. That’s a potential savings of $300 over the course of a year compared with a $45 monthly increase, assuming both increases take effect for the full 12 months. The city’s median gross rent is $1,523, according to US Census data. The vote comes as North Jersey has emerged as a tougher rental market than Brooklyn or Queens, with nearly 95% of apartments occupied and roughly 10 prospective renters competing for every available unit. The $20 limit had been part of Elizabeth’s rent-control ordinance for decades before city leaders scrapped it in 2022, arguing that the restriction was outdated. The cap limits annual rent hikes to 3% or $20, whichever is less. JP Photography – stock.adobe.comThe change allowed landlords to raise rents by up to 3% annually without the previous dollar ceiling.Tenant advocates pushed back, launching a petition campaign in 2025 to force a public vote on restoring the cap. Of course, the launch coincided with a yearslong discussion about affordability in America overall. The effort, organized by Make the Road New Jersey and the North New Jersey Democratic Socialists of America, faced multiple legal challenges from landlords.A judge eventually validated the petition signatures, but the ruling came too late for the question to appear on the 2025 ballot.City lawmakers also attempted to reinstate the cap themselves, only for a judge to invalidate their vote because the meeting lacked proper public notice.Tuesday’s referendum finally put the issue directly before voters. The voter-approved ordinance is set to expire in December 2027, leaving its future uncertain. Vitalii Vodolazskyi – stock.adobe.comBut landlords warn the unusually strict cap could come at a cost.“The $20 cap creates a fundamental imbalance between the cost of providing rental housing and the revenue available to maintain it,” David Brogan, executive director and CEO of the New Jersey Apartment Association, told The Post.“Property owners face rising taxes, insurance, utilities, labor and maintenance costs, none of which are subject to similar restrictions. Over time, that financial pressure can undermine property values and discourage investment in Elizabeth’s rental housing.”Brogan warned that the restriction could also leave landlords with fewer resources to maintain and improve their properties.Landlords warn the strict cap could discourage investment and delay property improvements. James – stock.adobe.com“When operating expenses rise faster than rental income, property owners have fewer resources available for renovations, upgrades, and long-term improvements,” he said. The debate echoes concerns raised across the Hudson River, where New York City’s rent regulations have fueled a similar clash between tenant protections and landlords’ operating costs.Roughly 57,000 rent-stabilized apartments sat vacant across New York City in 2025, with landlords blaming restrictions on their ability to recover renovation costs while tenant advocates accused owners of deliberately keeping units off the market. In Elizabeth, the newly approved restriction applies only to apartments covered by the city’s rent-control ordinance, not every rental property.Tenant advocates hailed the vote as a major victory in the fight to keep housing affordable in Elizabeth. John McAdorey – stock.adobe.comElizabeth’s City Council adopted an ordinance in October extending the city’s broader rent-control law through Dec. 31, 2027.With the ordinance set to expire at the end of next year, Brogan urged city officials to consider the financial pressures facing property owners when deciding its future.“We want city officials to recognize the economic realities of providing housing and, more importantly, to view property owners as partners in maintaining and improving Elizabeth’s housing stock,” he told The Post.

Jason Tartick's Surprising Wedding Plans with Kathryn Hurley Revealed New

Jason Tartick's Surprising Wedding Plans with Kathryn Hurley Revealed

The Bachelorette’s Jason Tartick cannot wait for the moment he gets to say “I do” to fiancée Kathryn Hurley. “What we're planning right now is — we're going to talk more about this on the ‘Trading Secrets’ podcast, but we are planning a destination wedding, and I think the beauty of a destination wedding is you get the people that are your life's work, the people you love the most, in one place,” Tartick, 38, exclusively told Us while attending T-Mobile’s T-Mix House in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 5. “It’s not just for a day and a night, but for a few days. We all get to know each other and love each other.” Before meeting Hurley, 35, Tartick said he had dreams of a big wedding with more than 300 guests and “everybody I know.” At this chapter in his life, it’s a different story. “Now, the older you get, the smaller your circle becomes,” he shared. “I'm just so excited about the fact that it's going to be destination. It's going to be next fall, and it's going to be everything we dream of.” Tartick’s love story with Hurley began when he rescued a dog from the rescue organization she founded called Wags & Walks Nashville. Things turned romantic for the pair by the end of 2025. In July, Tartick got down on one knee and proposed during a romantic trip to Italy. “I already call her my wife. She's already my wife,” Tartick confessed to Us. “I'll show you my phone right now. She's already in as Kathryn Tartick. I joke around, ‘Yeah, I'm here with my wife.’ It's the most exciting thing in my life. It's wild that nine years ago, I went on a reality show looking for love, and here we are at 38. It all came together. It all works out.” Fans met Tartick on season 14 of The Bachelorette with Becca Kufrin in 2018. Since then, he has become a best-selling author and hosts the successful “Trading Secrets” podcast. While celebrating the launch of T-Mix, T-Mobile's new customizable wireless plans that bring together benefits across streaming, music, gaming, food delivery and more, Tartick jokingly acknowledged how far he has come since he first accepted roses on national television. “I'm 38 years old, and I am just getting off [my] mom and dad's plan. I'm getting on the T-Mix plan,” Tartick said. “I think the beauty about it is it's all customizable. You can bundle all these cool things that you can choose. My fiancée loves Netflix. I love Delta. Boom! We can add those. I can get points. We can stream for free, and it's all good stuff.” Life is certainly good for Tartick. As he continues planning his dream wedding, the reality star can’t help but pause and acknowledge how life turned out better than he could have ever imagined. “I could come to tears thinking about just how fortunate I feel that I have the partner I have. She's such an amazing soul. She's truly an angel,” he said. “I'm just in a place right now where my priorities are just so exciting. I can't wait for what's coming, and a wedding's coming soon. And if we're so lucky, kids are coming soon, and I feel it's life's work coming to fruition, and it just feels so beautiful.”

CMA Awards Under Fire for Snubbing Sammy Kershaw's Red Carpet Request New

CMA Awards Under Fire for Snubbing Sammy Kershaw's Red Carpet Request

Riley Green, Carly Pearce and more stars are calling out the CMA Awards for reportedly denying fellow country singer Sammy Kershaw's request to walk the red carpet at the Wednesday, November 18, awards show. "If you haven’t earned the right to be there then nobody has… disappointing to say the least," Green, 38, wrote to Kershaw, 68, via Instagram on Thursday, November 5. Earlier on Thursday, Kershaw penned a lengthy statement claiming that he'd received "some disappointing news and it really hurts me." "I have to share my disappointment with the CMA as they have denied my request to walk the red carpet for a few minutes at this year’s CMA Awards, and I have to say I’m pretty sad about it," he alleged. The "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" singer explained that the alleged snub was particularly upsetting since he and his wife, Mendy Gregory Kershaw, "don’t get to attend these events very often, due to touring and schedule conflicts." "After adjusting my touring schedule, booking our flights and hotels, she was really looking forward to us sharing a special evening together celebrating country music," he added. "Then, to find out I was denied the red carpet two weeks before the show, after being strung along for several months and expecting we would be attending, WTF?" Pointing out that he'd been made "a lifetime CMA member" in 1992, Kershaw questioned why he would ever be denied red carpet access by the awards organizers. "I’m blessed to still be out on tour every year, performing for the greatest fans in the world and doing what I love," he wrote. "I believe there should be room to recognize the artists who have spent their lives contributing to this organization’s success." His statement concluded, "I love country music, but never in a million years would I think that a successful country music entertainer (and I’m not the only one) would not be able to walk the red carpet. It’s extremely hurtful, embarrassing and very disappointing. I guess the next time I attend the CMA’s, it will be in tribute after I’m gone, if I’m lucky." Us has reached out to the CMA Awards for comment. The country music community rallied around Kershaw, with Pearce — who is nominated at the 2026 CMA Awards in the Musical Event of the Year category for her and Green's collaboration "If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay” — assuring Kershaw that "many of us wouldn’t be here without artists like you." "I’m team Sammy," three-time CMA Award nominee Jake Owen insisted. Many fans were upset as well, blasting the CMA Awards' alleged snub as "crazy" and "BS" in Kershaw’s comments section. On top of receiving a lifetime membership in the Country Music Association in 1992, Kershaw also was nominated for a Horizon Award by the CMAs in 1993. (He lost that breakthrough artist award to Mark Chesnutt. The prize has since been renamed New Artist of the Year.) Kershaw scored a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with 1993's "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" and also charted with 10 more Top 10 singles, including "Anywhere But Here," "Third Rate Romance" and "National Working Woman's Holiday." The 60th Annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC and Disney+ Wednesday, November 18, with Lainey Wilson hosting from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville for the third consecutive year.

JWoww's Emotional Response to Shocking RHOSLC Scene: Why Fans Are Outraged New

JWoww's Emotional Response to Shocking RHOSLC Scene: Why Fans Are Outraged

Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley struggled to keep the tears back as she watched a “low blow” unfold while watching an episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Posting via Instagram on Thursday, November 5, the Jersey Shore star, 41, shared a clip of RHOSLC which showed an altercation between Angie Katsanevas and Mary Cosby. During the heated exchange, Angie, 52, made reference to Mary’s son Robert Cosby Jr. (Robert Jr. died in February at age 23 following a suspected overdose.) “I'm trying so hard not to cry,” Farley said after watching the scene as she struggled to remain composed. She added, “What I just saw had to be the worst thing I have ever seen on reality TV. Regardless of what you think of anyone … that woman lost her child.” Farley further blasted the choice to use the death of someone’s child in an on-screen argument as “f**king bottom of the barrel, the most low blow, and I don't give a f**k.” “Britani [Bateman] the last episode, now Angie, this episode…” Farley fumed. Farley also contrasted the TV moment against the drama that often transpired on Jersey Shore, insisting that she and her costars ultimately had each other’s backs despite not always seeing eye to eye. https://www.instagram.com/p/DfYPOs8BTdI/ “This is why I believe Jersey Shore, at the end of the day, didn't rate the way that Bravo rates, and I understand it,” she said. “Drama sells, but one thing I know about my cast, regardless of how much production hated it, we protected each other, and we had our low blows, especially before children. We had our low blows [but] I have seen twice now, women attack a woman that lost her child.” In her post’s caption, Farley doubled down on her take that using Mary’s son’s death against her was too far. “Crucify me in the comments as you will, but I just started really getting into watching reality TV because it’s been my career and I’m always curious how other networks film... So I take shows like this with a grain of salt... but after watching this scene on #rhoslc my heart is broken for Mary… I don’t care what your opinion is… A child’s death is off the table,” Farley wrote. “This is not an attack on Andy [Cohen] or the producers, because they make damn good TV, but people really need to watch their words… Coming from someone who has learned so many tough lessons on television…” In February, Mary, 54, confirmed the death of her son via a statement to Us. “Our beloved son, Robert Jr., has been called home to the Lord,” Mary shared in a statement at the time. “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.” Robert Jr.’s addiction battle was featured on several seasons of RHOSLC, with viewers often applauding Mary for speaking candidly about her son’s struggles.

The 2-year-old girl who tumbled to her death from a fifth-floor Bronx apartment window was a “super energetic” and “bubbly” kid who loved to climb, her grieving dad said Thursday. Julia Cante Wilcox-Polanco was fiddling with the accordion divider supporting the window air conditioning unit in her Mott Haven apartment when she fell late Tuesday, landing unconscious in the alleyway. Her dad, Chayanne Polanco, 36, said the anguish overtook him when he saw his daughter at Harlem Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.Julia Cante Wilcox-Polanco, pictured, fell to her death from her family’s fifth-floor Mott Haven apartment window. Family HandoutJulia’s father, Chayanne Polanco, said his daughter had always loved to climb or to be picked up. CBS News“I saw my little stink, my JC, lifeless,” he said, using his two affectionate nicknames for his daughter. “All I wanted was to hold her. They told me no. They wouldn’t let me hold her. I just wanted to hold her one last time, ’cause the last time I held her was to vote.”Polanco was at tech school, where he is studying to become an electrician, when little Julia fell from the family’s apartment on the top floor of the building on East 138th Street near St. Ann’s Avenue in Mott Haven around 10:45 p.m. “This is what gets me mad, because it’s not like the area where she usually was,” Polanco said of his toddler daughter. “She normally would just run around it.
It was the first time she was, like, curious about that accordion, and somehow…she got it open, and she pushed it right out.”Julia’s energy often ran high, and she always wanted to climb or be picked up, her dad said. “She was a very bubbly kid,” Polanco said. “If she was alive right now, she will be running back and forth from the apartment, trying to climb all things. And then, she’ll just look at me and raise her arms up and [say] she wants ‘uppies.’”Julia landed in the alleyway, where a memorial has since been set up. CBS News“She was super energetic,” he added. “She’ll wake up and try to burst out of the room….
She was trying to climb on any surface and we’ll try to pry her right out.” Polanco’s wife – Julia’s mother – was home at the time but had briefly stepped into another room.“She’s distraught. She’s distraught,” he said. “Because she’s having some kind of guilt, she could have gotten there faster, she could have just been in the room, taking better care.”“All it takes is a split second,” he said. “There was nothing malicious.”No criminality is suspected in Julia’s fatal fall. Karissa Shannon Vows to Raise Her Son as the 'Opposite' of Hugh Hefner

Karissa Shannon Vows to Raise Her Son as the 'Opposite' of Hugh Hefner

Karissa Shannon is determined her son will never be like Hugh Hefner. After sharing shocking details of her time as a Playboy Playmate, the Girls Next Door alum, 37, told Page Six on Thursday, November 5, that she was now engaged and pregnant with a boy. She told the publication she wanted to use her past experience to teach her son, who she plans to name Genesis, to be “gentleman.” “I want him to be opposite of whatever Hef was portraying,” Karissa told the outlet. “I want him to be a gentleman, and I want him to have manners, and I want him to lead with his heart.” Karissa is keeping the identity of her fiancé private but revealed that he is a “simple, blue-collar guy” from Windsor, Ontario and praised him for being so supportive of her past. “He’s sweet, and he loves me deeply and unconditionally. He’s quick to defend me in comments [on social media] and supports my career and all my projects. He’s proud of who I am,” she said. Shannon’s comments about her parenting plans for her son come after she detailed eye-opening experiences with Hefner, who died in 2017 at age 91. “He would try and force me and my sister [Kristina Shannon] to have sex with each other,” Karissa claimed to Page Six in an interview published on Wednesday, November 4. “Me and my sister never actually did it together. So that’s a statement I want to say. Like, really, we never, never had incest[uous] sex. Like, we never did that. We faked it.” Hefner’s widow, Crystal Harris, previously accused her late husband of “starting to try and shove” Kristina and Karissa’s heads “onto each other’s vaginas to get them to engage with each other sexually.” “That is incest. That is disgusting,” Harris, 40, claimed on the October 27 episode of the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast. “I didn’t want them to have to do something like that with each other. So that was very, very hard.” Karissa and Kristina both lived in the Playboy estate from the ages of 18 to 20, but they don’t see the experience as a positive one. Speaking to Us in July 2025, Karissa shared what they would say to the magazine mogul if he was still alive and they had the opportunity. “I would just ask him why he took advantage of us. We wouldn’t have to have a sit-down. I don’t think there’s an apology that he could issue [to] us that would take back the trauma that he’s done to us,”  Karissa said at the time. Echoing her sister’s sentiment, Kristina added, “[I would just say], ‘You really did f*** us up and take advantage of us.’ I’d be asking why he thought that was OK.”
