Former Dancing With the Stars contestant and motivational speaker Noah Galloway is about to be a grandfather at age 44. “There are moments as a parent where you look at your kids and wonder how time moved so fast,” Galloway, 44, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, September 5. “I’m so proud of Colston and Ariel and so excited for this next chapter of their lives. Watching my son become a husband was something special. Now I get to watch him become a dad, and I already know these two are going to be incredible parents.” He continued, “And somehow, I’m about to be a grandfather. Which brings us to the important part… what the heck am I supposed to be called? Granddad? Grandpa? Pawpaw? P-Paw? Pappy? Grandpappy? I feel like this decision could age me 15 years instantly.” Alongside the announcement, Noah shared a photo of son Colston Galloway sitting behind wife Ariel Galloway as she held up a slew of ultrasound images while spending time on the beach. In the comments section, Noah received sweet messages from fans and loved ones — including his former DWTS partner. “OH MY GOSH!!!!!” Pro dancer Sharna Burgess commented. Noah, who lost two limbs in 2005 after surviving a bomb blast in Iraq, competed on season 20 of DWTS and placed third. While appearing on the show, Noah popped the question to then-girlfriend Jamie Boyd. The pair announced their split months after the engagement. Noah has since tied the knot with wife Amanda Galloway in 2021. In August, Noah shared that he had returned to dancing after a hiatus. “I really thought my days of dancing were behind me after Dancing With the Stars. But apparently not because I’m dancing again. For years, anytime somebody asked me to dance again, my answer was pretty simple: no,” he said. “But recently I got the chance to tour First Light in Birmingham, Alabama, and see what they are doing for women and children experiencing homelessness, and I walked out of there knowing if they ever asked anything of me, I was going to say yes. Well then they told me about their Dancing With the Stars of the Magic City fundraiser and asked me to do it.” He continued, "Apparently I should have been a little more specific about what I was willing to do. So here we are. I’m partnered with Bailey Shirley from Calera Dance Academy. And somehow Bailey now has the responsibility of teaching me how to dance again. So good luck to her.” Noah noted that the “timing is kind of funny” because Sharna is also heading back to the ballroom this year. Never mind that Naomi Osaka and Anastasia Zakharova were in the middle of playing.At the US Open, a fed-up fan holds his head in his hands as a group of influencers in a suite above make a ruckus. In recent years, these ego-centric fools have also started flooding sporting events and taking the focus away from the main draw.The US Open has always had its own vibrant Big Apple flavor, as opposed to the stuffy atmosphere of, say, Wimbledon. But now, groups of people unwilling to follow basic tennis etiquette has become the story.“Today the umpire told everyone to be quiet more than I’ve ever heard an umpire tell a crowd to be quiet,” Osaka said after her Monday match. While most 4-year-olds were speaking to Elmo, Lil’ Dominic Auricchio was talking to the man upstairs.“I had a dream and God came to me,” the now 13-year-old recalled to The Post. “He told me to be a priest, and then I went into my mom’s bedroom . . . it was the middle of the night . . . and ever since then I’ve wanted to become a priest,” he said.The rising eighth-grader at Holy Trinity School in Westfield, NJ, has kept his commitment to the cloth — alongside other aspirations.Dominic Auricchio won the prestigious Cardinal Joseph Tobin Essay & Video Contest, with his entry about his divine encounters and how they inspired him to become a priest. Archdiocese of Newark“He came home one day and said, ‘I think I’m gonna be the first priest astronaut,'” his mom Maria recalled.“It’s now priest slash Marine. I want to become a Marine first and then join the priesthood,” said Dominic, whose father, Neal, is a Marine who served two tours in Iraq and was awarded the Purple Heart.Dominic began suffering from headaches in December 2022, and an MRI revealed a large mass on his brain.“He went on medications and we were debating on what we were going to do. We didn’t want obviously to do surgery if we didn’t have to . . . because of where it was, they would have had to cut into bone,” Maria said.Months later, in May 2023, Dominic said the Virgin Mary appeared in his bedroom to assure him he’d recover.“She was dressed just like we imagine her . . . and she told me that everything would be OK,” said Dominic.Dominic was in the hospital recovering from his fifth seizure when he heard about the archdiocese’s essay contest. I want to be someone who brings comfort and hope.”Dominic was actually in the hospital in March, recovering from the fifth seizure he’s had since December, when he heard about the contest, in which 49 seventh graders from the Archdiocese of Newark’s 64 Catholic schools competed.“It was probably my worst seizure because I had to stay in the hospital for six days lying in a bed,” said Dominic, who was awarded a plaque and $1,500 for his award-winning essay and video.He said he stays faithful despite his medical issues because he knows “God is always working in his own ways.“Even if something bad happens, it’s part of his plan, so you just have to go with it.”.

Amanda Kloots is showing off her redesigned engagement ring — and reminding mourners that there's no timeline to grief — following her late husband Nick Cordero’s 2020 death. “You don’t have to stop wearing your engagement ring just because you took it off and years have gone by,” Kloots, 44, said in a video shared via Instagram on Friday, September 4, before showing off  the customized ring. “Guys, I took my engagement ring off after, like, about a year and it was sitting in my jewelry box collecting dust until one day I was just like, ‘I want to wear my ring again.’” She continued, “I contacted the jeweler, Stephanie Gottlieb, and we co-created a new design for my engagement ring into a ring that I can wear every single day. You can, at any time, take this piece of jewelry and recreate it into something that is still so meaningful.” Cordero died in July 2020 from complications related to COVID-19. Months prior, Cordero was admitted into Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and diagnosed with pneumonia before testing positive for coronavirus at the height of the pandemic. He spent over 90 days in the hospital before his death. He was 41. The pair, who shared son Elvis, were married for two years prior to his death. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dc4pTN_u04x/?igsi=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D “My diamond was a heart-shaped diamond, we put it in a bigger heart — my heart is always in his — and it’s a ring now that I wear on this finger all the time,” Kloots continued of her redesigned engagement ring on Friday. “And it’s so special, still so special, and I love it so much.” Kloots’ candid video was accompanied by a substantial caption, encouraging those who are healing from a loss to take their time and decide what is best for them instead of attempting to adhere to someone else's journey. “After celebrating my wedding anniversary yesterday, it got me thinking that I should reshare what I decided to do with my engagement ring,” she captioned the post. “These questions after loss can sometimes be the hardest to answer. How long do I wear my ring? When should I take it off? Can I keep wearing it? What should I do with it now?” She continued, “The short answer is: YOU DO YOU! There are no rules when it comes to grief, and you need to do whatever feels right and makes YOU happy. Four years after loss, I decided to redesign my engagement ring into something I could wear and love every day instead of keeping it tucked away in a box. I am SO glad I made this decision.” In July, Kloots marked six years since her late husband’s untimely death. “Today marks six years since Nick passed away,” she wrote via Instagram on July 5. “If you knew him, you were lucky. If you didn’t and you’ve been following me, hopefully you have an idea of what a magnificent human being he was. Everyone loved him. He loved everyone. He truly lived life to the fullest, although it was cut short at just 41 years old. His face graced stages and screens, and his voice could be shrill like rock and roll or smooth like Frank Sinatra. He taught me to slow down. To listen to music. To be curious. To believe in myself.” She added at the time, “I know it might seem weird to say, but even though he is gone from this earth, I almost feel more connected to him spiritually now. It has made me believe that we don’t have to say goodbye. We don’t have to stop talking to the people we love. We don’t have to close the chapter. It may look different, yes, but I feel closer to him now, six years after his death. He sends me signs almost daily. I ask him for them, he responds and I talk right back! Nick was always up in your business if you were his good friend or family, so it does make sense that he’s still up in mine.”

Instead, he describes what he's doing as "looksminimizing," an intentional effort to make his appearance more asymmetrical. The idea is framed as the opposite of " looksmaxxing ," a trend that encourages young men to change their appearance through potentially dangerous methods. One well-known person taking part in that trend is Clavicular , a controversial streamer who has been open about using steroids and other extreme practices in pursuit of his appearance. "Why does the one trap guy work out one trap? It's pretty simple. I was scrolling TikToks in my Ferrari, and I kept getting these looksmaxxing TikToks," the Crooked Man said. "They were like, 'Do this, do that. You'll look more attractive. You'll get more women.' And it's like, people have that problem? I have the opposite problem. I get so many DMs, I don't even have time to get through them all." "'So I thought, 'If I have the opposite problem, then I need the opposite solution.' What's the opposite of looksmaxxing? Looksminimizing. What was the best way to looksminimize? Become more asymmetrical." "Work out one trap, it solved my problem. And man, it has worked like a charm,'" he added. Safe to say that a lot of people were still confused by his explanation and warned that he could face long-term damage if he continues. "The problems you will face later in life will not be worth it," one person said. "Even your jaw and face are uneven. You're causing problems for the rest of your life," another pointed out. More than 200 days spent developing one trap apparently weren’t enough for the Crooked Man, as he has extended his experiment to another part of his body: one of his glutes , and is now training one of his legs. It’s pretty wild, and I am so grateful.
