Dylan Sprouse Reveals Shocking Family Secret: 'Children of Incest' New

Dylan Sprouse Reveals Shocking Family Secret: 'Children of Incest'

Dylan Sprouse made a startling claim by referring to himself and twin brother Cole Sprouse as "children of incest." During the Tuesday, October 20, episode of the "Wildmen" podcast, Dylan, 34, recalled using genealogy program Ancestry to map out his and Cole's family tree, saying, “When I first took it, my actual breakdown of history was very different than it is now.” Dylan learned a lot about his relatives through the program. “I’ve found a lot of family members, weirdly, who I never met, because my dad’s side of the family is pretty fractured," he noted. "I started to talk to them, compare and contrast.” After diving into his background, Dylan “found out something weird” when it came to both sides of the family heading to California during the Gold Rush. Dylan said that one set of relatives discovered gold in the process and moved the rest of the family from North Carolina to California. Both sides of Dylan and Cole's family were subsequently joined by marriage in the late 1800s. “And then, they diverged, and then they married again [through] my mom and my dad, like, last generation,” he explained. “I called Cole, I showed him a picture, I was like, ‘Dude, I just found out some f**king crazy s***.’ … The only reason I started to get suspicious is because when I started talking to my dad's side of the family, I found out that his uncles were identical twins.” He continued: “I’d only ever thought that identical twins or twins in general came from my mom’s side of the family. We had seven sets of twins in four generations. ... Because it’s the same family!” Dylan shared his theory that his genes crossed in the past. “It’s my dad and my mom. They had no idea. So, then I’m looking at this, and I go, ‘What the hell?’” he concluded. “A lot of stuff started to make sense, because one of my aunts was a twin, but she was one of the twins who ate her twin in the womb, and when they cut open a cyst in her shoulder, it had teeth and hair. Long story short, Cole and I are children of incest.” Cole and Dylan rose to fame as child stars in projects such as Big Daddy, Friends, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, The Suite Life on Deck and more. The Riverdale star later recalled how his and Dylan's upbringing was affected by their mom's issues. “My mother was — still is — the tortured artist type. She struggled with, in many different ways, her place in the world," he explained on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast in March 2023. “I think she found a tremendous amount of self-identity through motherhood and tried to turn it into a profitable business at the same time, which, for identical twin boys, going into acting is [an] economic loophole — there are labor laws that can be incredibly profitable, so that’s what she did.” At the time, Cole revealed that their estranged mother "lost" all of the money they had earned by the time they were 10. "[My father, Matthew Sprouse] desperately wanted us to be normal kids, and my mother wanted us to be a bit more of a caricature of two normal kids," he said on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast that same month, noting that his dad received sole custody at the time. "When my father was given forced custody, we had pretty much lost everything from the youngest parts of our career. That would be Friends and Big Daddy. My mother was an incredibly wonderful and artistic woman, but she was financially the most irresponsible person ever." Cole confirmed that he had no relationship with his mother since he became an adult. "In truth, she lost her mind," he added. "I think it was the consequence of some weird alchemy of addiction and mental instability, and it's probably the greatest wound in my life and also the greatest driving force for my continuing in this industry. I miss her a lot. She was an incredibly beautiful and artistic woman."

Scarlett Johansson's Awkward Scene That Made Joaquin Phoenix Walk Out New

Scarlett Johansson's Awkward Scene That Made Joaquin Phoenix Walk Out

Scarlett Johansson has opened up about an awkward incident while filming, which caused Joaquin Phoenix to leave the studio. Filming love scenes can be one of the most difficult parts of an actor's job, because while they may appear intimate on-screen, the reality is anything but. From being surrounded by a crew watching your every move to having to wear modesty patches over the crucial areas, sex scenes can be pretty unsexy behind the cameras. Scarlett, 41, has opened up on one such scene that was so "bizarre" that Joaquin, 51, ended up leaving the set. Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson starred together in Her. Credit: Stefania D'Alessandro/WireImage/Getty Images Speaking to hosts Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the Armchair Expert podcast in 2022, Scarlett opened up about the sex scene the pair filmed on the 2013 movie Her. She and Joaquin had starred in the Spike Jonze-directed sci-fi romance movie, which is set in a near-future LA, as a lonely divorced man who falls for his AI assistant. Scarlett only appears in the movie as the voice of the character, but the film does include a steamy phone sex session between her character Samantha and Joaquin's character Theodore. Scarlett Johansson opened up about the awkward experience. Credit: Karwai Tang/WireImage/Getty Images She revealed on the podcast that Joaquin had already filmed his part of the scene but as Scarlett's part only featured her voice, he would need to join her in the recording studio while she recorded hers. She explained: "Joaquin comes in, we try to get through one take, and he was, like, losing it. "He was like, angry ... He had already done [the scene], he had done it in person, and now he was with me, in this weird theater, I’m in this box and [Joaquin] is staring at me, the lights are low, and like, Spike is there. It was so bizarre. "Joaquin was so upset about it, he left the studio. He needed a break." Scarlett revealed that she understood his feelings as looking back on the experience gives her "panic" too. "You don’t want to hear your voice, ever," she revealed. "You definitely don’t want to hear what you sound like having an orgasm. You definitely don’t want to hear what you sound like having a fake orgasm - ew. It’s so gross." Yeah, that does sound pretty uncomfortable, to be fair. Despite the filming of that scene being pretty painful, the movie did well overall, having a Rotten Tomatoes score of 95 percent. Featured image credit: Stefania D'Alessandro/WireImage/Getty Images

Orphaned Walrus Calf's Remarkable 4,000-Mile Journey to a New Home New

Orphaned Walrus Calf's Remarkable 4,000-Mile Journey to a New Home

See more of our coverage in your search results. An orphaned baby walrus from Alaska recently found a new home over 4,000 miles away at Florida’s SeaWorld. US Geological Survey biologist Tony Fischbach and intern Violet Anniskett found the 5-month-old, 220-pound walrus calf on a beach in Point Lay in Northern Alaska on Sept. 14, according to the Alaska Sealife Center. The researchers were scouring the remote beach after a walrus herd left during heavy surf. A 5-month-old, 220-pound walrus calf found a new home at SeaWorld. SeaWorld OrlandoThey were collecting carcass samples to study algal toxins. The lone mammal, who they named Annautaq, was found lying on the sand between two dead walruses.  Fischbach and Anniskett immediately jumped into action to save Annautaq, and moved him more than half a mile to an abandoned building where he could be safe from predators until more help could arrive. “When we found him, a determined flock of gulls was intent on scavenging him. He was in immediate peril of suffering this fate had we not gotten approval to intervene. Two polar bears were also active on the island,” Fischbach said. The heroic pair stayed there with the calf for three days until a transport team for the walrus finally arrived. Annautaq, which means “axe” in Iñupiaq, was then flown to the Alaska Sealife Center more than 800 miles away in Seward to start his recovery.Veterinarians said he was in decent condition, but he was dehydrated and was covered in wounds. The baby walrus bonded with his rescuers. SeaWorld OrlandoAnd he was lonely. Baby walruses need constant care from their moms when they are young. Without that connection, he had actually quickly bonded with Fischbach and Anniskett during the days they stayed with him. “He bonded with us fast and wouldn’t sleep unless one of us was in the room. It was just us two for three days, stuck in a storm with the young walrus,” Anniskett said. While he was recovering well, the US Fish and Wildlife Service ruled that the walrus couldn’t be released back into the wild. The walrus is recovering well, experts said. SeaWorld OrlandoExperts decided the best place for him would be SeaWorld in Orlando, where he was transported this month, SeaWorld said on Oct. 21. The marine mammal park has a “longstanding rescue mission” that has already helped more than 43,000 animals in need, SeaWorld said. He’ll be quarantined for 30 days and will receive 24-hour support, including six bottle feedings every day. “At this young age, Annautaq needs more than nutrition and veterinary care. He also needs close contact and companionship, which our expert team is providing around the clock,” said Jim Kinsler, a curator at SeaWorld Orlando.“As he settles in, we’ll make introductions to [other walruses] Garfield, Kaboodle and Uki at his pace. Kaboodle’s experience caring for rescued calves and the opportunity to connect with two-year old Uki, herself a rescued walrus, make this herd a promising setting for him to learn, build relationships and grow.”

Tom Brady and Candice Swanepoel's Secret Romance: What We Know New

Tom Brady and Candice Swanepoel's Secret Romance: What We Know

Tom Brady and supermodel Candice Swanepoel are dating, a source exclusively tells Us. Brady, 49, and Swanepoel, 38, have been together “for a while,” per the insider. Neither the retired NFL quarterback nor Swanepoel have publicly addressed their newfound romance. Us reached out for comment. Brady was previously married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen from 2009 to 2022. The pair now coparent son Benjamin, 16, and daughter Vivian, 13. (Brady also shares eldest son Jack, 19, with ex Bridget Moynahan.) Following their divorce, Brady has been romantically linked to the likes of Irina Shayk and Alix Earle. Despite a series of headline-making flings, Brady has remained relatively mum about his love life. “I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working, and I love my kids,” Brady told People in January. “I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I’m doing, so I’m working on some really cool projects and I’m involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things.” He continued at the time, “My oldest [son] is 18. But seeing him thrive and grow, and there’s nothing greater for a parent when you’re seeing your kids do well. I’m so blessed in so many parts of my life.” As for Swanepoel, she was most recently in a decade-long relationship with ex-fiancé Hermann Nicoli before their 2018 split. Swanepoel and Nicoli, 44, are parents of two sons: Anacã, 10, and Ariel, 8. Swanepoel, who has kept her dating life private since the breakup, has been candid about balancing motherhood with her busy modeling career. “Life is a constant search for balance, for me at least, and yes I do sometimes feel overwhelmed, but I’m very in tune with my children’s needs, then my own personal needs, which are also important,” she told V magazine in 2023. “Sometimes it’s easy to forget. I’ve realized to be a better mother, I know I need to also take care of myself, whether that be about my [physical] health or mental health or being able to excel in my career and business because it brings me joy and so my children have begun to understand that too.” She added, “I think it’s very healthy and important for them to see everything I do. One of my most vivid memories as a child was seeing my father wake up at 4 a.m. to take care of our farm and his dedication and drive is something that is now part of me and something I hope they will learn from me.”

Andy Cohen's Heartwarming Moment That Made Him Realize Kevin Sobieski Was 'The One' New

Andy Cohen's Heartwarming Moment That Made Him Realize Kevin Sobieski Was 'The One'

Andy Cohen is more than happy to say that he’s in love with his boyfriend, Kevin Sobieski. “It's a really adult grown-a** love of a man with two kids, who I know myself better than I've ever known myself,” Cohen, 58, said on the Tuesday, October 20, episode of Carlos King’s eponymous podcast. “I'm more settled than I've ever been in my life and where I'm at and where I want to be, which is right where I am. It’s very centered, it’s very calm and I’m very sure of it.” Cohen, who welcomed son Ben and daughter Lucy via surrogate in 2019 and 2022, announced in June that he had been dating Sobieski for nearly an entire year. “We had been holding hands for a year all over the West Village, and nobody really [said anything],” he said of taking his romance public. “I mean, we literally sit in restaurants holding hands, and nobody said anything. …  I would have said something eventually because I do demand a certain level of transparency to the people who are in the chair across from me. Cohen continued, “I was saying to him around that time, ‘At some point soon I'm going to have to let the cat out of the bag because I'm really happy and I want to share that with people.’ Also, it just seems a little hypocritical not to speak on it when I kind of demand it of others, and I also speak so much on the radio … talking a lot about myself and my kids and everything else. It just seemed natural that that would happen.” Cohen first disclosed his relationship with Sobieski on an episode of his Radio Andy show, noting that Ben and Lucy approve of the businessman. “They really love him, and we didn't tell them until eight months into dating that he was my boyfriend,” Cohen recalled on Tuesday’s episode. “I really let them fall in love with him, and they did before I ever said anything.” Eventually, Cohen confided in Ben that Sobieski was actually the Watch What Happens Live host’s boyfriend. “He’s like, ‘Oh, Daddy.’ He goes, ‘Lucy and I just love him so much, and you love him and you’ve wanted a boyfriend and now you have one,’” he noted of his son. “It was so sweet, and it was everything I would have wanted it to be. It's so funny because for the last few years, [Ben] would say to me, ‘Daddy, why don't you have a boyfriend?’ And I'm like, ‘Well, I haven't met the right guy.’”

Lacianne Carriere's Emotional Tribute to RJ Mitte: 'I Lost My Other Half'

RJ Mitte’s sister, Lacianne Carriere, is mourning the late Breaking Bad actor’s death. “There are just no words. You were just here … your strawberry Fanta was still sitting on my coffee table when I got the call,” Carriere, 22, wrote via Instagram on Friday, October 23, alongside several throwback photos of her brother. “Life hasn’t felt real since then.” She continued, “RJ, you were my everything. I just lost my other half. I lost my brother but I also lost my father. Every single aspect of my personality is because of your influence. My music taste, my film taste, the video games I love … because of you, I am a collector, you taught me that even the smallest piece of paper can be a precious memory later on.” Us confirmed on October 12 that RJ had died by suicide. He was 34. “Since the phone call, I’ve been sitting around with your closest people almost every night sharing the craziest stories that could never be said anywhere else and god that was just you,” Carriere added in her Friday tribute. “You were the life of the party, [the] coolest guy that we all tried to keep up with but never could. You made me, me. We had so much more to do, so many more memories to be shared and I don’t know if my heart can ever be whole again after losing the biggest piece of it.” Carriere, while expressing her sadness over her brother’s death, promised to honor his legacy moving forward. “I just really need my brother right now. You would put on some lofi music and tell me to get up and go sit in the shower, how it always makes you feel better,” she said. “I know you’re telling me right now that I’ll be okay though I don’t know how I will, but I promise I’m going to do my hardest. I promise your love will always live through me until the day I see you again.” Carriere concluded, “I loved you completely, and you loved me the same. That’s all. The rest is confetti. .” In addition to Carriere, Mitte is survived by mother Dyna. Mitte’s family recently honored him with an emotional funeral service, during which Carriere gave a powerful eulogy. “I do believe RJ did see. I do believe that when we get to heaven, God rolls back the curtains and reveals some things,” Dyna told The Hollywood Reporter of the memorial. “I’m sure he rolled back those curtains, and RJ saw today exactly who was there, who honored him. … I do believe RJ was incredibly proud, and I’m sure that he was weeping and hearing all the wonderful things that were being shared about him. RJ would’ve been proud of each and every moment.” If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or chat live at 988lifeline.org.

JFK Jr. Search Nearly Called Off Before Miraculous Discovery New

JFK Jr. Search Nearly Called Off Before Miraculous Discovery

JFK Jr.’s body was found 116 feet below the Atlantic Ocean — just hours after the search team began discussing calling off the massive operation, the mission’s leader told The Post. After John F. Kennedy Jr.’s plane went missing on the night of July 16, 1999, the US government embarked on one of the largest maritime searches for private citizens in the nation’s history. On the fourth day of what had been an exhausting and fruitless effort to find Kennedy, his wife, Carolyn Bessette, and her sister, Lauren, officials began planning an exit strategy. The 1999 search for John F. Kennedy Jr. is revisited in the new book “The Last Flight: The Untold Story of the Search for JFK Jr. and the Race Against the Atlantic.” Michael NorciaBut as they discussed ending the search, high-tech sonar scanners, almost miraculously, finally located Kennedy’s body on the ocean floor, about 10 feet from the wreckage which still held the strapped-in bodies of the sisters. They were about seven miles off the southwest coast of Martha’s Vineyard.“John F. Kennedy Jr. was outside the aircraft, and there was a consideration that had another day passed, that in the 1.6-knot current, that he might’ve been swept away,” said Coast Guard Capt. W. Russell “Russ” Webster, the incident commander for search operations for the JFK Jr. mission.“They might have never found him had another day gone by,” his wife, maritime historian Theresa Mitchell Webster, recalled. The couple co-authored “The Last Flight: The Untold Story of the Search for JFK Jr. and the Race Against the Atlantic,” which describes how side-scanning sonar and a video camera located America’s Son.Captain W. Russell Webster coordinates the exit strategy meeting with Rear Admiral Richard M. Larrabee, hand on chin, NTSB Chairman Jim Hall, and NTSB Managing Director Pete Goelz, leaning on table, at the Unified Command Post. Authors' collectionThe following morning, five days after the crash of the Saratoga II that Kennedy, 38, was piloting in dense haze, divers recovered all three bodies.Carolyn, 33, and Lauren, 34, were identified only through their different hair colors.“The NTSB forensic anthropologist told us that the girls were not facially recognizable,” said Theresa.Kennedy was on the doomed flight with his wife, Carolyn Bessette, and her sister, Lauren. The LIFE Picture Collection/GettThe trio was traveling from Caldwell, NJ, en route to Martha’s Vineyard, for Kennedy’s cousin Rory’s wedding.Kennedy had been on visual flight rules, Russell explained, meaning, “the FAA was not tracking his plane, he was confident that he could navigate by site and geographic references, like lighthouses and factories,” since he had done the trip from New Jersey to Martha’s Vineyard 35 times before. He relied on visual cues alone — since he had not yet completed his instrument training, having finished just 12 of 25 modules toward his certified flight instructor certification.“On July 1st, 15 days before he flew, one of his certified flight instructors said, ‘John, you’re not ready yet for this. You need more experience with instruments,'” said Russell, who served in the Coast Guard for 26 years. It took 15 years to research and write “The Last Flight,” which was published on Oct. 13. Harper Collins FocusKennedy’s inexperience with instruments hindered his ability to fly in poor visibility and could have caused spatial disorientation. The National Transportation Safety Board report determined the plane fell at a rate of 4,700 feet per minute.“Water is only marginally less than cement at that speed [almost 60 mph] and coming from that altitude,” Russell said. The crew raced against the clock to find their bodies, the plane and their belongings, before human and animal scavengers did. Kennedy’s plane, which left Caldwell, NJ, en route to Martha’s Vineyard, went missing on Friday, July 16, 1999.Russell, who worked on 10,000 missions in his career, estimates the operation — which spanned 100 nautical miles between Cape Cod and Long Island, and involved thousands of staffers from at least 28 local, state and federal agencies — cost up to $5 million. The Websters took 15 years to research and write “The Last Flight,” which included close to 45 interviews.“One of the reasons we were able to finally write this book was the fact that many of the people that had said they did not want to participate earlier had retired from federal service and became more talkative, more reflective. And they knew how important it was to tell this story,” Russell explained. Captain W. Russell “Russ” Webster and his wife, Theresa Mitchell Webster, co-wrote the book. Courtesy of Theresa Mitchell Webster and Captain W. Russell "Russ" Webster, USCGTheresa’s friend Maria Hooton — married to a close friend of Kennedy’s uncle, Sen. Ted Kennedy — was at the senator’s house the day after the plane went missing.“She told us she saw John’s suit hanging in the laundry room that was pressed and ready to go,” she said.During the mission, the Coast Guard received a number of “outlandish” calls, some from people who believed they were still alive.“One was that John F. Kennedy Jr. was in an AOL chat room. People, I think, were grasping at straws,” Russell said. The Coast Guard cutter Hammerhead transported the Kennedy and Bessette families following their loved ones’ burials at sea. USCG photo by PA1 Pete MilnesThe USCG also got a fax from an unnamed New York City spiritual organization that declared them deceased based on their analysis of their “magnetic auras.”“The reason I remembered that so vividly was it was the very first external communication that we received on Sunday when the Unified Command Post opened up. And it was like, ‘Oh my God, this is so, so bizarre.'”

Karoline Leavitt's Surprising Defense of Katie Zacharia's Sudden Firing New

Karoline Leavitt's Surprising Defense of Katie Zacharia's Sudden Firing

Former Trump press secretary Karoline Leavitt can give Katie Zacharia grace for stepping onto the White House podium — even for a short while. “Look, it’s a tough job. It’s a very tough job,” Leavitt, 29, said on the Friday, October 23, episode of Real Time With Bill Maher. “People say it’s one of the hardest jobs in Washington, [D.C.], and … I give anyone who steps up to that podium credit, because only 37 people in United States history have been the White House press secretary. That pressure in that room is enormous.” She continued, “I give her credit for standing up there, and as the president said, it wasn’t a good fit and that’s OK. I wish her well, and we’re onto the next.” Leavitt, who left the press secretary role in August to spend more time with her family, noted that President Donald Trump has “a lot of options” for Zacharia’s replacement. “I mean, it’s a great job. It’s a fun job,” Leavitt noted. “There’s a lot of qualified people who want it, so we’ll see.” News broke on October 16 that Zacharia, 41, was let go from her White House duties after just one week on the job. “President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic and the most hardworking man,” Zacharia wrote via Instagram at the time, confirming her departure. “I wish more Americans appreciated him. No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to. It was an honor to work for him.” Trump, 80, later told reporters that he hopes Zacharia has “a good life” after her brief D.C. stint. Zacharia took the podium for the first time on October 13, fielding questions from three media outlets for a total of 14 minutes. Her résumé was subsequently put into question after multiple news sites claimed they couldn’t find a valid law license under her name. (Zacharia graduated from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law and alleged she passed the bar upon her move to China.) The White House never publicly addressed the speculation but defended Zacharia’s position as press secretary. “Katie is a fabulous and wonderful addition to the team,” White House spokesman Steven Cheung told CNN in a statement earlier this month. “She is uniquely qualified and whip-smart to help inform the American people about all the great things President Trump and his administration have been doing, and she will do an incredible job as press secretary.”
