Katie Zacharia's Fox News Interviews: The Real Reason Behind Her Exit? New

Katie Zacharia's Fox News Interviews: The Real Reason Behind Her Exit?

See more of our coverage in your search results. Katie Zacharia lined up a pair of disastrous Fox News media appearances that ultimately led to her own downfall as White House press secretary, text messages obtained by The Post reveal. The texts show Zacharia — who stepped down Friday after just five days in the job President Trump hired her for — pushing for two media appearances that were ultimately scheduled for Thursday and Friday, following her rocky debut at the White House podium.“I’d like to do news hits morning and evening,” Zacharia wrote Wednesday in a text message with a White House official about the bookings, which were postponed for a day.Text messages obtained by the Post reveal White House press secretary Katie Zacharia seeking to set up her own TV appearances with Fox News. Her unsteady performance on air helped lead to her resignation by the end of the week. MediaPunch / BACKGRIDDuring the bumpy interviews with Fox host Sean Hannity on Thursday night and “Fox & Friends” Friday morning, the Trump mouthpiece awkwardly tried to explain her failure to pass the California bar and struggled to go beyond talking points on other issues. The appearances were so unsteady that one source in a Politico story termed it a “sanctioned hit” — suggesting it was orchestrated by Trump’s White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, who did not sign off on the high-profile hiring in advance. However, text messages indicate that Zacharia was leading the charge to get herself more camera time — and do not show that Wiles had a role in the TV hits.By Friday, President Trump said publicly Zacharia wasn’t right for the role, advising that “you don’t need this” before she suddenly ended what may have been the shortest tenure of any White House press secretary. The texts, which also show consultations with Fox over an interview during a post-rally media appearance, indicate Zacharia was pursuing TV exposure as early as Tuesday — the day of her first briefing. Zacharia appeared on Sean Hannity’s prime-time Fox News show as well as on “Fox & Friends,” where she was asked to explain her statements about her profession after failing to pass the California bar. REUTERSA Hannity producer wrote Tuesday, “Katie said she can join us from the rally tonight.”One of Zacharia’s comments to Hannity on Thursday had the host wondering if she blamed the West Wing for her early stumbles. “Given the fact that I’d been on the job less than maybe eight hours and had a briefing book in the morning, I feel like I did my very best, Sean, to deliver for the American people that day,” she told Hannity.“Am I hearing that you think the staff should have prepped you better?” Hannity asked.A White House official said Zacharia, who gushed about the president online Friday after leaving her post, “will not be working at the White House anymore.” Another White House official said they had not hear anything about what her new role could be.Politico noted that Wiles and Hannity are friendly and speak often — but the White House said claims Wiles was involved in Zacharia’s downfall were “hit jobs” and “smear.”The text messages show Zacharia seeking her own TV bookings following a report that characterized them as a “sanctioned hit” by White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles AFP via Getty ImagesZacharia, who as The Post reported, dined with Vice President JD Vance Friday night, was nonspecific when asked Saturday what role she would transition into next.Former White House press secretary and Fox News commentator Kayleigh McEnany weighed in with her own take on Zacharia’s baptism-by-fire on Fox Saturday morning.“You want to give grace to anyone who takes on that role … How is she doing this 24 hours in? I had about two weeks to prepare and to get thoughts together and to talk to various cabinet administration officials,” she said Saturday.“That was pretty much doomed from the start to roll out to the press.”Trump said Friday at the White House there was “zero chance” of replacing Wiles and that she was “going to be here for a long time.”

MIT Scientist's $6M Defamation Victory Sparks Heated Reactions

A former Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) scientist won a legal victory this week after losing his position following sexual misconduct allegations made by a female colleague.Dr. David Sabatini, a former MIT biology professor and prominent biomedical researcher, was awarded $6 million in damages Friday after a jury found that his former colleague, Dr. Kristin Knouse, had defamed him.At the time of the allegations, Sabatini had led a research lab at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for approximately 24 years. His work focused on cell biology and its connections to neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, aging and cancer. In 2021, Sabatini lost his position at Whitehead following an internal investigation into allegations made by Dr. Kristin Knouse, a younger colleague who worked at the institute. The pair met in 2012 and began a sexual relationship in 2018, which ended the following year, according to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital. Knouse later alleged the relationship was coerced.David Sabatini appears in court in Boston on Oct. 14, 2026, where a jury awarded him $6M over sexual misconduct allegations made by a former colleague. So there was no choice.”Following Friday’s verdict, Knouse’s attorneys said they planned to appeal, while Sabatini’s legal team also prepared to challenge the dismissal of his claims against the Whitehead Institute.“I think institutions don’t care about due process,” Sabatini said. “They care about having a certain conclusion. And for whatever reason that one could discuss, at that time the conclusion was, ‘Get this guy out of here and make an example of him.’”Sabatini said he hopes to rebuild his life and career following the verdict and eventually return to working primarily in the United States.“But ultimately for me, it’s just being able to be close to my son before he goes to college,” Sabatini told Fox News Digital. “That’s really number one through 100.”Fox News Digital also reached out to the Whitehead Institute and MIT for comment.

Why NYC's Jewelry Snatchers Are Causing Panic on the Streets New

Why NYC's Jewelry Snatchers Are Causing Panic on the Streets

Crews of motorized bike-riding thieves — some of them illegal migrant gang-bangers — are terrorizing New York City, viciously snatching thousands of dollars in jewelry from the necks of unsuspecting cops and civilians alike, The Post has learned. There have been more than 20 motorized bike chain-snatchings since September, with at least 10 of them turning violent, according to the NYPD — and police sources say that’s just a drop in the bucket.“There are hundreds of chain snatchings around the city,” said a law enforcement officer, who asked to remain anonymous because he’s not cleared to talk to the news media. A masked scooter rider approaches a 48-year-old male victim on West 145th Street in the Bronx before snatching the victim’s necklace and fleeing on Sept. 25. DCPI“A lot of it has to do with the Trinitarios,” said the officer, referring to the violent street gang founded by Dominican inmates at Rikers Island in the early 1990s that has since grown into a crime empire plaguing the Bronx and upper Manhattan for decades.“That’s one of their big things, chain snatchings, and two people on a bike doing robberies.”The most notable mobile mugging happened when an NYPD detective was stabbed 10 times after he tried to fight back against two illegal migrants earlier this month.Nine other chain-snatching victims reported being punched, knifed or thrown to the ground during the terrifying, lightning-fast robberies. Two reputed Trinitario gang members on scooters were also responsible for shooting an off-duty federal border patrol agent at a Manhattan park on July 9, 2025, sparking a massive roundup of Big Apple gangbangers in January, federal officials said. The robbers ride scooters up to men and women in the street and rip off their necklaces. DCPI“Operation Salvo” took 54 members of the crew off the streets after the 42-year-old law enforcement officer was shot and wounded at Fort Washington Park in Washington Heights at West 155th Street, the officials said.In Gotham, the thieves often have the advantage. If they are caught, lefty judges often spring the crooks just as fast. And they are never handed over to ICE if their immigration status is in question because NYC is a sanctuary city, an NYPD officer said.  “We’re not allowed to confer with ICE so we just arrest them,” said the cop, who also asked to remain anonymous so he wouldn’t get in trouble. “They get released on their own recognizance [by a judge] and they go back and do it again.”Sometimes the robbers are armed with knives or guns and other times they punch their victims. DCPIThe revolving-door system was spinning in the case of Jorge Beltre, a Bronx bodega worker and Uber driver who was attacked by two scooter-riding bandits as he walked his 5-year-old son home from school near Mount Eden Parkway and Sheridan Avenue in Claremont on Oct. 8.Beltre, 30, fought back to save his 14-karat gold Cuban-link chain when one of the attackers pulled a knife and stabbed him in the leg, according to police.Despite his wound, the Domincan Republic native was able to hold the 17-year-old thief — with the help of eight onlookers — until cops arrived, he said. Beltre’s son was unharmed. When the robberies are arrested they are usually released without bail and have the ability to commit the crime again, a police source said.. DCPIThe teenager was charged with robbery and weapon possession, according to police. He was released on $900 bail, Beltre said the Bronx District Attorneys Office told him. “The community and I caught one,” he told The Post in Spanish. “Why did they let him go? He didn’t say where the other guy is. He didn’t say who the other guy was. I feel outraged. Why do they grant him release?“It fills me with outrage because I felt my life was in danger,” Beltre continued. “We are living through a scourge. The Bronx is practically being ravaged by these criminals. People are getting their chains snatched — two or three incidents a day. The community is fed up.”The individuals depicted are wanted in connection with a citywide robbery pattern that occurred within the confines of the 94th and 71st precincts in Brooklyn and the 112th and 108th precinct in Queens, cops said.. DCPIThe experience has been “unsettling” for his son, who asked his mom to send him back to school with a baseball bat “so he could hit the criminals if he saw them,” Beltre said. He said his muggers were also from the Domican Republic.Beltre needed five stitches to close his wound. The Bronx District Attorneys Office didn’t respond to a message seeking comment. In another incident on Sept. 13, a 54-year-old victim told cops he tried to hold onto the motorbike-riding thief who ripped a chain off his neck on Grand Avenue near West 180th Street in the West Bronx.Jorge Beltre was robbed by a moped robbery crew as he walked his 5-year-old son home from school. Jorge BeltréBut the thief accelerated, dragging the victim, who suffered minor injuries and lost his $2,700 chain, cops said. Two robbers on e-bikes approached a 60-year-old man near Duncan Street and Laconia Avenue in the East Bronx on Sept. 28, displayed a firearm and punched him in the face before snatching $8,000 of jewelry from his neck. He suffered minor injuries. The motorized muggers are brazen enough to target cops. An off-duty female office, had her chain snatched at the corner of Arlington and Barbey streets in Brownsville, Brooklyn, on Oct. 10, police sources said. The crook grabbed a gold necklace that read “Angie” from the 25-year-old’s neck before riding off on a scooter, the sources said. The necklace was worth about $800, the cop reported. The female officer’s attack came eight days after two criminals stabbed Detective Jose Mercedes, 33, near East 206th Street and Rochambeau Avenue in Norwood in the Bronx as they tried to rip the necklace given to him by his mom off his neck, he told reporters this week.Mercedes told the crooks several times in both English and Spanish that he was a detective — but “they didn’t care,” he said. The accused robbers, whom police identified as D’Angelo Caraballo, 25, and Sneider Mejia, 24, fled the scene on an e-bike. Mercedes chased them but collapsed because he was losing so much blood, he said.NYPD Detective Jose Mercedes was attacked and stabbed 10 times by chain snatchers on Oct. 2 near East 206th Street and Rochambeau Avenue in the Bronx. Paul Martinka for NY PostPolice hunted the duo down outside of Boston and brought them back to New York to face attempted murder charges. The Department of Homeland Security and ICE said both men have prior criminal records, and are Dominican Republic natives living in the US illegally. An NYPD spokesperson said the chain-snatchings had been decreasing in the Bronx recently.“Since the attempted murder of Detective Mercedes, there has been a significant decrease in chain snatches within the confines of Patrol Borough Bronx North,” the spokesperson said. The spokesperson added that major crime declined 7% in all five boroughs of the city so far this year, with the Bronx continuing to lead the city with a 12% reduction — to 20,751 so far this year, versus 23,545 in the same period last year. Surveillance photos released by the NYPD show the robbers often have their faces completely covered and are difficult to identify, police sources said.Critics lay some of the blame for the troubling trend at the feet of Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who has called for less enforcement of e-bikers — in purported support the multi-million food app industry. Their lawlessness has surged as cops write fewer tickets. “Mamdani doesn’t want to enforce summonses against these moped guys because they’re working, but then everyone’s taking advantage of it,” said Michael Alcazar, a former NYPD detective and an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.“This is what they do in Third World countries,” he added.Alcazar thinks the NYPD needs to use the broken-window theory of policing to staunch the epidemic.“Bad guys have to know we’re enforcing these things,” he said of the tactic in which cops write summonses for small infractions to prevent larger crimes. “That will nip this in the bud.”A return to the NYPD’s plainclothes anti-crime units, which were disbanded in 2020 under self-described Marxist Mayor Bill de Blasio following protests over George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis, would also help, he said.“Nobody wants to talk about bringing back anti-crime but it’s an effective tool,” Alcazar said of the plainclothes cops. “This is what we did when crime was spiking.”

One Direction's Heartfelt Tributes to Liam Payne: Songs That Tell a Story New

One Direction's Heartfelt Tributes to Liam Payne: Songs That Tell a Story

The surviving members of One Direction have each found their own way to honor their late bandmate, Liam Payne, in the wake of his untimely death. Payne, who rose to fame as a member of the British boy band alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik, died in October 2024 after suffering a fatal fall from an Argentina hotel balcony. He was 31. Investigators later determined that Payne had multiple substances in his system at the time of the fall, including cocaine and benzodiazepine. Weeks after his death, Payne’s surviving bandmates attended his emotional funeral in England as they grieved his loss. Scroll below to learn how the former One Direction members have honored their late bandmate with music: 'What Is Enough' by Harry Styles Harry Styles marked the two-year anniversary of Payne's death, debuting a previously unreleased song at his October 16 New York City concert. “I feel incredibly proud when I get to look up there and see my name up there,” Styles told the crowd of performing at Madison Square Garden. “There are so many people in my life, friends and people that I’ve worked with, that I wouldn’t have been able to do this without. And two years ago today, I lost one of those friends.” 'End of an Era' by Niall Horan Niall Horan released his own musical tribute to his former bandmate in May 2026. “It’s a song of loss and fear of loss and the end of an era. It’s sad [and] one verse is sad, and one verse is nostalgic,” Horan said on the “And the Writer Is” podcast at the time. “They’re two of the feelings I have when I think of Liam is sadness that he’s not with us anymore, but also looking back at … the good times of growing up together.” 'Dark to Light' by Louis Tomlinson Louis Tomlinson opened up about his own deeply personal track during a January 2026 appearance on the Zach Sang Show. “‘Dark to Light’ was written in Costa Rica. I want to say we were in Costa Rica for about three or four weeks and that was definitely the last week," Tomlinson recalled. "The intention with this record was to have a lot of light, no pun intended, but to have a lot of light. We didn't really have a lot of shade on the record. So, we felt like there was a need for something a little bit more emotional." Tomlinson had sent songwriter Dave Gibson "five pages of thoughts that [he] had," including a line that "the record should go from dark to light." "That's one of [my] prouder moments on the record," he added. "It's definitely the moment that we get a little bit more raw." While Tomlinson wanted to leave the song's interpretation open for "people to draw their own conclusions," he confirmed the lyrics were written about an unidentified friend widely presumed to be Payne. "I suppose just a story of a friend that maybe feels under-appreciated and you just reminded them of your love for them," Tomlinson said. "It can definitely feels therapeutic. It's nice to get these things off your chest. It's also nice to almost feels like manifesting them in a weird way if you want to share your love for someone, but I couldn't." Zayn Malik's Tour Dedication Zayn Malik used his tour stage to pay tribute to Payne, delivering an emotional dedication during his November 2024 concert in Leeds. Ahead of Malik’s encore, the lights flickered off and back on. When the power returned, a memorial graphic was shown on the wall. “Liam Payne 1993-2024,” the sign read. “Love you bro ❤️.” This story was compiled with the help of AI tools and edited by journalists.

OnlyFans Star CeCe Rose Battles 371 Fake Accounts in Shocking Scam

See more of our coverage in your search results. An OnlyFans star says she’s the “most catfished woman on the internet” — revealing that she’s hired security teams that spend their days taking down hundreds of accounts pretending to be her to scam her fans.CeCe Rose, 27, who has over 2.2 million Instagram followers and makes millions a year on OnlyFans, claims she’s been relentlessly impersonated by ill-intentioned fraudsters who prey on her fans for cash.“It’s gotten so bad, to the point that just the other day, my team found 371 fake accounts,” Rose, of Toronto, revealed to The Post Thursday.CeCe Rose said her heart breaks for the fans who fall for the scams. Jam Press/@cecerose“I’ve heard stories where somebody genuinely believed they were in a serious relationship with ‘me,’ including believing we were going to meet or have a future together one day.”While she said impersonating creators has become an increasingly pressing problem across the board — with the US Federal Trade Commission reporting that Americans lost a staggering $3.5 billion to imposter scams in 2025 — she said the scale of the scheme targeting her and her fans is “unfathomable.”“At the end of the day, being on social media, everyone has fake accounts pop up. But out of the people in my circle, it’s nothing compared to the quantity,” she said. Rose first discovered this was problem in 2023, when a frustrated fan messaged her on OnlyFans accusing her of stealing his money and ghosting him.She then realized there was a slew of accounts using her photos and videos to lure her followers off mainstream apps like Instagram and TikTok onto messaging platforms like Telegram, Zangi and WhatsApp.One of her admirers told her he lost $80,000 to an impersonator.Rose claims hundreds of accounts are taken down each day. Jam Press/@cecerose“He drained his bank account trying to support ‘my ambitions’ — the fake scammer’s ambitions or whatever story they were feeding to him,” she recalled. “And I imagine the stories I’m not hearing. [The scammers] are probably making more money than me.” And as AI becomes more and more advanced, Rose is worried more men will fall for devastating schemes. Most of the people who have fallen victim to her catfish tend to be older, she explained, but she wouldn’t be surprised if younger fans are also falling for scams but are to embarrassed to speak up.“I always make it clear they shouldn’t feel ashamed,” she said. Rose said AI is further complicating the elaborate schemes. Jam Press/@cecerose“If somebody has spent months believing they’re building a genuine relationship, finding out the entire thing was fake can be devastating.” Rose said her teams have successfully tracked down at least one person suspected of using her identity to lure in her fans. The situation is still under investigation. To her fans, Rose warned that she’d never come crawling to them for cash.“I won’t message you asking for money. That’s the most important thing: I will never come to you begging for anything,” she said.

Carrot Top's Emotional Message After Hospitalization Shocks Fans New

Carrot Top's Emotional Message After Hospitalization Shocks Fans

Comedian Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson is speaking out after his hospitalization for an alleged suicide attempt. “I’m truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support, prayers, and well wishes I’ve received over the past couple of weeks,” Thompson, 61, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 17, publicly commenting on his health issue for the first time. “Every message, text, and kind thought has meant more to me than you know,” the comedian continued in the post. “While I haven’t been able to respond to everyone individually, please know that I’ve felt your love and appreciate each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for being there for me during this time. It truly means the world to me.” Thompson ended his post — which was accompanied by a picture featuring the comedian performing on stage — by highlighting his upcoming Las Vegas show at the famed Luxor Hotel & Casino on Monday, October 19. Thompson was hospitalized in Las Vegas after the incident, which has been widely reported as a suicide attempt. As a result, several of his comedy shows were subsequently canceled. (Carrot Top has headlined a residency at Las Vegas’ Luxor Casino since 2005.) https://www.instagram.com/p/DemtM3nN6e2/ “Mr. Thompson is recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs,” Thompson’s rep Jami Schlicher said in a statement shortly after the incident. “His family and those closest to him are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers and respectfully ask for privacy.” Two days after his hospitalization, Schlicher gave an update on Thompson’s condition. “Scott remains hospitalized and under close medical care,” Schlicher told Entertainment Weekly in a September 20 statement. “He is now awake, breathing on his own and continuing to improve, surrounded by his family and those closest to him.” The statement continued at the time, “Humor has always been such an important part of who Scott is and how he connects with people, and that remains true today as he shares moments of humor with the medical staff caring for him. Many messages from fans have been shared with Scott, including stories from people about how his comedy helped them through difficult periods in their own lives.” A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department report, obtained by Us on September 25, detailed what allegedly occurred when police responded to a medical dispatch call about an alleged suicidal male at Thompson’s Las Vegas home on September 18 at 4:21pm. According to the report, Daniel O’Leary — who described himself as Thompson’s tour manager — was at the scene and stated that a news article broke at approximately 3:20pm covering a lawsuit that was filed against Thompson, accusing him of sexual misconduct. O’Leary described Thompson’s behavior as upset, claiming the comedian made comments expressing his concern that his shows were going to be canceled in the wake of the allegations. Thompson told him that he hoped a female third party (who was redacted in the report) and her daughter “would be okay” without him. Thompson subsequently hung up before texting O’Leary one word — “done.” Per the report, O’Leary was not able to reach Thompson after this text message. O’Leary then called the female and informed her about the article and their conversation and asked her to go check on Thompson. She “arrived at the residence and observed the doors open to the home.” After looking for Thompson, the woman eventually located Thompson “in the backyard, next to the pool, unconscious.” According to her statement, the woman then “ immediately called for help.” If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Harry Shum Jr.'s Heartfelt Call for Joy Amid DWTS Controversy New

Harry Shum Jr.'s Heartfelt Call for Joy Amid DWTS Controversy

Harry Shum Jr. is issuing a poignant message about Dancing With the Stars amid online discourse surrounding season 35. “Reminder that this is a dance show. It is supposed to be joyous,” Shum, 44, wrote via Instagram on Friday, October 16. “People are suffering in the world already, so let’s celebrate each other with more love. I’ll go first.” In subsequent slides, the Grey’s Anatomy actor paid each of his fellow DWTS celebrity contestants a compliment – or two — regarding their respective ballroom journeys. “Guillermo [Rodriguez] — how you rallied the people at home and even us on the show to celebrate what dance should mean to people,” Shum added of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality, who was eliminated during Super Bowl Night on Tuesday, October 13. “The joy was bursting through every step you took. I love you, man.” Shum further noted that he enjoys speaking to Connor Wood “about anything” before watching his entertaining routines. “It feels like a kid getting to do the thing you’ve always wanted to do, but never got a chance to,” he added of the comedian, 31, going on to praise Tatyana Ali’s focus and inspirational journey in the ballroom. “You’ve been an advocate for mothers holding on to their joy while doing one of the hardest jobs on the planet — being a mother. You continue to reveal parts of you that we may not have known. Your dances on the stage inspire so many people.” Shum also marveled at Jackson Olson for balancing DWTS with his Savannah Bananas game schedule, Maura Higgins’ onstage elegance, Amber Glenn’s commitment, as well as Tyler Cameron’s “confidence and smoothness.” He also felt “so happy” watching Julia Stiles revisit her Save the Last Dance routine on Tuesday and is completely in awe of Paralympian Ezra Frech. “I’m just blown away by your charisma and ability to move the way you do,” Shum gushed about Frech, 21. “You have an aura that oozes confidence, and the fact that you’re only 21 with this level of maturity is inspiring to many. You’re showing people that limitations exist only in your mind and you shatter those limitations every time you hit the stage.” In addition, Shum praised how “powerhouse” Jenna Dewan handles DWTS feedback. “Watching you take criticism with grace and just laying it all out on the dance floor each week, I go, ‘That’s the Jenna I know and love,’” he added before concluding with a message to himself. “[I’m] proud of you for not letting anyone take your light and spark away no matter how much they try. Keep being you.” Shum recently danced a samba with pro partner Jenna Johnson on Tuesday, inspired by Usher’s 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. The routine, however, was criticized by the judges for its technical mishaps and an illegal lift. (Two members of the troupe helped Shum complete a backflip mid-routine, moments before Johnson’s foot appeared to come off the floor while completing a one-legged spin.) After Johnson, 32, questioned whether she accidentally included a lift in the routine against the rules, judge Carrie Ann Inaba defended her take. “A lift is — I just need to say it — any movement during which one of the dancers has both feet off the floor at the same time with the assistance or support of their partner,” Inaba, 58, read aloud a printed definition. “Yeah. Lift.” Johnson has since cleared the air with Inaba, while the two-time mirrorball champ’s husband, Val Chmerkovskiy, appeared to threaten to slap the judge in defense of his wife. Chmerkovskiy, 40, ultimately publicly apologized for his remarks. “I have reached out to Carrie Ann to apologize directly and personally and I also want to apologize publicly as I understand my words affect so many outside our internal DWTS family,” he wrote in a Thursday, October 15, statement shared via social media. “I should never have made the reference that I did and I deeply regret it. I recognize that I am in a fortunate position to have a platform and to be a role model to some.” He concluded, “I need to treat that with more care by actively pausing to think before I post to ensure what I am sharing aligns with who I am, and who I want to be for you all.” Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Bonnie Wright Welcomes Baby No. 2 and Shares Heartfelt Message

Bonnie Wright and her husband, Andrew Lococo, are celebrating a magical new addition following the birth of their second baby. "Say hello to our son Aster Sky Wright Lococo born at home on the 28th September named after the star-shaped flower," Wright, 35, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 17, introducing her newborn. "Our little star has been showered in love by his big brother Elio. Thank you universe for my loving bundle of boys! Wright — who is best known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise — announced in April that she was pregnant and expecting baby No. 2. “Two babies on my lap ,” she captioned an Instagram photo of son Elio lying on her as her growing bump peeked out from beneath her T-shirt. “Our second little earthling [is] joining us this autumn!!” The following month, Wright shared an update on her pregnancy journey. “Second pregnancy definitely hits different,” she wrote in a May Instagram post. “My energy being pulled in one direction by my toddler and the other by growing tiny organs in my body. Doubling the blood flowing through my body. Feeling nauseous or dizzy. Searching for connection … Waiting for them to connect with me. Show me who they are and who they are expanding me to become. All an unknown. An unravelling. A never ending journey .” Wright and Lococo — who tied the knot in March 2022 — became first-time parents when they welcomed son Elio in September 2023. “Say hello to Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, [he was] born at home on Tuesday 19th September,” she announced via Instagram at the time. “We’re all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun! So grateful for our birth team that have held our hands throughout and made the journey so joyous and expanding.” After declaring that “birth is the wildest experience,” Wright credited Lococo with being her “rock” throughout the delivery. “I squeezed onto you so tight and you never wavered,” she added. “Elio has the most tender loving papa.” One year later, Wright revealed that she hoped her son would explore the world of Harry Potter at some point in the future, though she had one condition for him watching the beloved films. “I mean, I can’t force it on him, but I’m definitely gonna positively encourage reading it,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024. “I hope to read it to him … but I definitely will make sure we read the books before we watch the movies. Could be like reading a book, [then] watching a movie. But I’m definitely gonna make sure we go through the books. I also remember growing up with the audiobooks, so maybe the audiobooks would be nice.”
